Does Anyone Know Where I Can Find An Old Disney Commercial Possibly Called

How much does an actor in a commercial get paid?

This depends who the actor is and what their agent is able to negotiate. Angelina Jolie might literally be offered millions to make a commercial. Commercials are highly desirable jobs because an actor is not only paid to make the commercial but usually is paid every time the commercial plays on every channel throughout the world. In a popular commercial an actor can acquire not only a lot of money for no additional work but because they are seen by millions of people a day they sometimes become famous at least for the time the commercial runs. Think of the old lady who asked “Where’s the beef?” in the hamburger commercial, or the guy who kept saying “I can’t believe I ate the whole thing,” in the antacid commercial. To me anyway, those actors are more memorable than the products they were advertising, not necessarily a good thing to those paying to advertise.Even as a new actor, you make a lot of money doing commercials and most advertisers are looking for “fresh faces” so there’s a good chance of getting one. If you have been offered a commercial job and are asking this question to figure out whether what they’re offering you is fair, I’d suggest calling an agent, perhaps someone a friend is already under contract with, and ask them to negotiate this for you. Small businesses may try making their own commercials and offer you a flat fee not including residual use of the footage. Depending on how long the shoot is going to be you should be paid between $500 and $1500 dollars a day plus a residual every time the commercial is played on television or elsewhere. This may sound like a lot of money but you will be indisposed for hours while they shoot and reshoot this from numerous angles. It’s hard work.Lauren Graham devotes several chapters to her work in commercials in her memoir, Talking As Fast As I Can: Amazon.com: Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls (and Everything in Between) eBook: Lauren Graham: Books

Does anyone know where I can find an old Disney commercial possibly called "Good Night Walt"?

The commercial is from I believe the late 90's or the early 2000's. It takes place in an old bedroom at night with a young boy sleeping in bed with drawings all over the floor, the parents walk in and pick up a crude drawing of Mickey Mouse as they quietly wonder where he gets his ideas from. As the parents leave the father quietly turns back and says "Good night, Walt". I have been trying to find a video of this commercial for a while and I would love to see it again. It might have been made for the "100 Years of Magic" celebration.

What makes Disney's Frozen such a huge commercial success?

People were counting on a good movie because of the good ones that came before it, Tangled, Brave. It's visually beautiful, well animatedIt's about the snow queen! That's a really popular fairy tale. There's something about ice and snow that makes an amazing setting. Elsa was an unusually complex character compared with previous ones, with real world problems like shutting yourself off from people and learning to control negative emotions. A story about siblings makes for a deeper plot than a simple love story. No matter how many ways you try to twist it, romance is very limited. Especially in children's stories. It has a couple of catchy songs, and a good amount of humourA sprinkle of extra hype for no real reason. That's just my take on it, as  someone who liked but didn't love it. One thing I'm not too clear on, but I'm sure also contributed to its success, is that it's also popular among boys as well as girls. I'm acquainted with a thirteen year old boy who named Frozen as his favourite movie. I don't know how that happened. Maybe there's just more open mindedness, which could be due to Brave opening the way. I believe Brave was made by Pixar, which makes movies that are nothing but popular. Kids of both genders watched and liked it. There's also the Brony phenomenon. It's totally more acceptable for males to like "girl things". People are actually making better movies with female characters, ones that everybody is happy to like, and unashamed to admit it. Frozen isn't the best of the best, but it is good.

Do you think there is a market for clean commercial rap music, rated G for everyone?

Great question, unfortunately it comes with multiple answers…Do you think there is a market for clean commercial rap music.Absolutely! Not everyone likes to hear cursing and as much as I love rap music, I don’t always want to hear raunchy or suggestive lyrics. I’m not alone on this. Several artists have made careers as clean rappers or have at least made clean songs. Will Smith The Fresh Prince, Lupe Fiasco (kick skate) Mos Def (UMI says) A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie (wrote at least one clean song for his mother) and arguably the greatest rapper ever, Rakim didn’t curse until the second half of his career. In fact most rappers during the pioneering stage in hip hop didn’t curse on wax period.Rated GHere’s where things get sticky. What constitutes rated G? I would argue most music isn’t rated G. PG maybe but not G. Turn off the lights and let’s get closer isn’t exactly Disney Channel material. Disney Channel material isn’t exactly Disney channel material. There’s sexually suggestive innuendos all through those shows, but thats another Quora question and answer. The point is as an adult it’s hard to write about purely rated G topics unless you are rapping about the solar system or nuclear fission. For EveryoneThis you absolutely cannot do. You can not write music for everyone. You won’t be able to please everyone. Some people love rap, others hate it. It doesn’t matter if it’s clean or not. The key is to be yourself and find the market that likes you.Its very possible to write clean rap music for a commercial audience. My advice would be not to tell them it’s clean. Let them figure it out. In fact I recently wrote a blog discussing how explicit lyrics may be killing your careerLastly I would be remiss not to suggest going beyond rapping. Rap is something you do, Hip Hop is something you live. The great wordsmiths in the hip community are called Emcees. Mic Controllers, crowd motivators, Masters of Ceremonies. Elevate your wordplay and go beyond simple rapping. No one will even notice you don’t curse.Michael C SmithExecutive Music ConsultantCarltonsmithmusic.com

What is the Disney font called on Microsoft Word?

Microsoft Word does not include a "Disney font".There are various third party fonts that imitate the Disney logo text, but they are not provided by Microsoft.Microsoft does include a number of fonts in Windows and Office, some of which are cartoony and/or script and could be considered Disney-esque. But you would need to be more specific about the font you are referring to.

How does the Disney Channel/Family Channel make any money?

Here is (hopefully) a multi-part answer...

Disney Channel (and its global offspring) is not connected with Family (which is owned by Astral Media) apart from the extraordinary amount of Disney-owned programming that airs on it.

Family is a pay-cable channel, which means that they get their revenue from cable companies that license the channel for their systems (simply stated, the fees paid by cable companies for carrying the channel pay for its operation).

No traditional advertising can air there due to CRTC regulations save promos for its programming. The Ubisoft, Nintendo etc. "ads' are actually "promotional consideration" product placements in relation to the network's giveaways and contests.

The Wikipedia entry below should help explain things further.

Is it possible to find a full-length speech by Walt Disney (Even if its shorter) without paying for a book to get it?

I've read the Disneyworld and Disney Land dedication speeches by him, but nothing really much else then a few quotes.

Thanks

Can I make money on YouTube by uploading other people’s videos such as cartoons or TV shows?

Unless you have (written) permission from the owner of the content you cannot upload other people’s videos such as cartoons and TV shows, especially if they are copyrighted by the owner. If you do upload copyrighted material you could get copyright strikes on your account and often if they do not take the video down they will monetize it but all of the money you make on that video goes to the owners of the content. You can potentially purchase a license so you can use this content or use content that is licensed under the creative commons license.Find out more about the creative commons from YouTube here: Creative Commons
