Does Anyone Know Who I Should Talk To About Starting A Paintball Business

How can I start a paintball areana business for under $100?

Create a non-profit volunteer organization (like the Boy Scouts) instead of a business. You might persuade some businesses and individuals to donate or loan or sponsor equipment and space. You might also partner with a sports-minded team-building gym and be their arms-length affiliate for insurance and liability and marketing. You could bootstrap fund the whole thing too, by booking enough corporate teams a couple months in advance of opening day. If crowd funding it locally isn’t enough, you could take a long shot on IndieGoGo.

What are the steps to starting a paintball field as a business?

I play at a few fields and have spent time with owners. There are two flavors of paintball.  Speedball and woodball.  I dont know which is more profitable but I like woodball. I also like the occasional big game.Pretty much every speedball field looks the same:Used telephone poles.Safety screeningLots of mulchInflated structuresLighting/tables/ etcWood ball fields are very different story.Lots of large prominent objects.A few 'hard points'A few 'out of sight' routes.Flag station/ propsI would suggest making a speedball field first and then 2-3 awesome woodball fields. The speedball field is going to be expensive, but if you fail you can probably sell most of your stuff or pack it into a uhaul and try again somewhere else. The woodball field is cheap (diesel for your earth movers and mostly donated junk) but if you fail you'll have an awful mess on your hands.Other things to get: You'll need a main covered area, enclosed, with a fireplace.Clean restrooms for the parents, portapotty for the players. Paintball markers for rental use. Probably tipman 98 or A5.  Masks, etcInvest in good signage, I am sure you are off the beaten path and people need to find you easily.#dreamsI want somebody to popularize woodball.  Perhaps in a 'hunger games' style scenario with lots of cameras for online visitors.   I want scoring to be better, the use of RFID tags near flag stations or as a push map would be cool.  I also want to rent a cool com system and  have an overhead commander give me Intel.

I want to start Paintball as a business in India. What are the legal process and where to buy equipments?

Registration of your business won’t be a big problem. You can register as “sole proprietorship” Ask any CA, he will tell you the process.Main problem would be getting equipment. You will have to import them if they’re not available here. Here is a process you should follow.Figure out all equipments you needOrder them and get them in your homeFigure out how much space you would require and how much monthly budget you have, and get a space on rent.Make a advertisement board for your business, use creative art and hang in where you have permission.Start moving equipment and setting whole space, meanwhile if people come to you seeing the billiboard, thats a good sign.and rest you will figure out on your journey :)

Where to find investors to start up my paintball buisness?

Start with family and friends. Draw up a good business plan including financials and present it to your would-be investors. Be prepared and make sure the people walk away from your presentation excited to invest in you!

Is owning a paintball facility a viable business.?

It all depends on your current conitions and area even though you ca paintball in aney waether I own a field and pro shop in montana the state were the seasons are Winter Cold Hot as hell and warm so I play in all the extreem conditions. But owning a paintball buisness us very viable and even extreemly profitable I make 74,000 a year in peur profit Which might not sound like alot to you guys that might live in big cities but here in Montana that's a ton of money. But remember you can't run a field without a proshop and you can't run a proshop with out a field it's key to have both so you can make profit all year round and when people can't play they come into the proshop. About consesions I personaly don't have aney I think it's just to much of a hastle so I just let people bring in coolers of food and what ever they want an I run on a wrist band system so they can leave when ever they want to go eat and come back and as long as they have that wrist band they can play when they get back. For rentals I rent the smart parts sp-1 and the invert minis sp-1 is the basic rental so I charge extra for the faster guns also the way I have my proshop set up all the guns on the wall are for dasplay or for rental so I rent any gun they want out of the proshop for a little extra. Oh and I noticed you didn't mention paint in your question but that is were almost 80% of your profit comes from is selling paint I sell DraXxus silver for entry level DraXxus gold if I'm hosting a tornament and marblizers for my 3 speed ball fields. One thing to remember about paint is don't alow any oil based paints in your field there a hastle to claean your air bunkers and it stinks. So if you have any more questions just IM me.

How do you start a paintball team?

There is no formal method. If it's going to be a team you want to take to a local field and have some fun, just talk to your friends about it and go together. If you are aiming at something like a speedball team, you will want to make sure you have markers that can be competitive. You will want some type of standardized uniform. You will want a unique team name. Spend some time searching to see if your choice is already taken by an active team. You will want to reach out to businesses, both local and in the sport, to try and get some kind of sponsorship to help the cost. For example our team sponsor would provide paint at his cost while playing at his field, and help pay for a certain number of cases at events. As far as getting into events, you simply register for an event, paying the entry fees. The hardest part, in my opinion, is getting people to show up! You need people that are going to go. If it's for a speedball team they need to go every time.I was lucky, we had 15 guys who would go at the drop of a hat, and half at dozen others that would go for scenario games. We played together 9 years, and some of us played together more casually for 16 years. In the end, it was the cost that made us stop.

A question to any paintball professional or expert out there. . .?

I want some help as to which a better paintball marker is:
Do you think that the ION-marker is better than the WGP Karnivor Autococker? Or is it the other way around?

Any help will be appreciated. . . Thanx
