me and my fiancee where on the phone and her aunts where playing the song "no body does it better" and then we where thinking about a commercial back around the 90s?. that had the song no body does it better and we can not think what commercial had this song. i hope some one knows the answer to this because i am dying to find out i checked on the web and everything but i cant remember?. im thinking it was a Grocery store commercial? like Luckys? or Safeway?. but im not sure?. and my fiancee thinks it was a old Folgers Coffee commercial i hope some one gets to us quick on this one. oh great, I can't even remeber to get dinner out of the fridge, now we have to remember old tv ads. I remember the commercial, but cant recal what it was.. the first thing that comes to mind though is Arm and Hammer detergent, but that doesn't seem right to me... was it an ALL commerical?

the year this commercial was on air was in 1991- 1993 but i think it was 1992 there was an old man dancing in a kitchen and his wife was in the kitchen with him he did the splits my mom said he was wearing funny 70s type clothes possibly plad pants i think they were advertising a food or drink since they were in a kitchen but im not sure and it was not the 6 flags commercial everyone keeps telling me it was 6 flags but that was in the 2000s i can barely remember becuase i was 2 years old its driving my mom and me crazy i kinda want to find out the answer today or where i can find the commercial becuase ive been looking for it for a couple years i hope you can help me thanks

What old ads do you remember?
I was born in 1964, so I grew up with advertising and television unlike anything any other generation ever knew. Quisp and Quake! Freakies cereal! H.R. Pufnstuf and Lidsville! If you didn’t experience them as a kid, you can’t really understand. But the commercial that made the biggest impression on me was for Levis jeans. It was the most bizarre thing I’d ever seen or heard. After I grew up, I searched for years to find it. Eventually I found a .WAV file of the jingle, and recently found the commercial itself on YouTube. There was another commercial with the same jingle, but it featured animated jeans of all colors flying all over the world. I haven’t found that one yet. I did find the old "Chiller Theater" promo, though. It always gave me the creeps. Some other commercials that I loved were radio ads on WOR AM, broadcasting out of New York. The classic comedy team of Bob & Ray did some wonderful ones; they did hilarious fake commercials as well, of course, but their singing (!) commercials for Piels beer were great. Unfortunately I haven’t found any of those yet, but I did find an animated non-singing commercial of theirs on Youtube. While listening to a recording of a great old WOR radio show by Jean Shepherd (the writer and narrator of the seasonal classic A Christmas Story) recently, I ran across an old commercial for Dubonnet. It was a weird experience; I’d forgotten the song completely, but as soon as I heard it, it was like my whole brain lit up! It’s a cheesy old jingle, but I loved it. The commercial starts at 19:25 into the show. Nostalgia is a funny thing, isn’t it?

What's that song in the jeans or t shirt commercial from the late 90's or early 00's?
The song was sung by a solo male or possibly male band with the lead vocalist singing. It was like a rock song not slow nor fast. I'm sure it's a popular song because I've heard it at the grocery stores a few times. It's a song probably from the 80s or 90s. It was either a jeans commercial or a fruit of the loom t shirt commercial (i'm pretty sure it was a jeans commercial). I don't remember the entire commercial but at the end of the commercial, it's still day time, the guy in his white t shirt and jeans comes home, goes to his room is falling in slow motion on his bed with all white bed sheets, with his arms spread, and after he lands on the bed, the camera focuses on the back pockets of the guy's jeans. The commercial was shown probably in the late 90's or early 00's. Can anyone name that song? I don't remember any of the lyrics, I just remember the melody and the voice.
