Does Anyone Want A Website Built For Them For Fun I

I want to build a website for fun, are there any free website builders with no advertisment?

Well! the market is full of website builders. But, not each one of them is good for health. Many of them are alive to fool people with their less-efficient features. You need to have a sharp vision to select one of them and that sharp vision can come with the knowledge. Research as much as you can and do a thorough comparison.Of course, I will help you since Quora is meant to answer those in need. And I stand by a website builder TemplateToaster due to the following reasons:All CMS compatible software.SEO friendly themes.Easy drag and drop interface.Great customer support. All plugins compatibility.and the list continues..I suggest you to read in detail about this software and try before you buy so that you do not go in the wrong direction. But, for me it’s doing wonders. I am highly satisfied and recommend everyone.TemplateToaster - Theme Builder Software for WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento and more.

What is the best way to build your own website?

I would like to give an answer form a different perspective: from a web design and coding noob!I had my wedding planning business for quite a while but I (taught) never had a need for promoting my work through a website. Eventually, when all parts of business went completely online I wanted to build my own site…but how?1. First thing first: Domain name.In my case, I just used my company’s name, but you need to check if the name you wish is already used by someone else. Anyway, after you choose your perfect name you should register it. Get informed about the benefits that some providers offer and chose the best solution for you.2. Website builder: Time (and money) saver.Like I mentioned, I didn’t have a clue about coding and web design, so a drag&drop website builder was my only option. Again, get informed about different benefits and options website builders have and chose the one most suitable for your needs. My choice was Ucraft, since it is simple, cheap and has a free logo maker included (which I needed).3. It’s crafting time: Create your website! Now comes the fun part: template choosing, icons organizing, content adding etc. Be creative as you can, but keep in mind that the whole website look and organization must be user friendly…and mobile friendly, as well.4.Now comes the promotion: SEO, social media and stuff.Well, I was already active on social media so this wasn’t so difficult for me, basically I just “announced” that I launched a website. If you are starting from the beginning, don’t worry, just read a bit about the social media hacks and you’ll have followers in no time! Don’t forget to use Instagram, it is getting more and more popular! As for the SEO, again, find tips&tricks on the internet, forums and blogs and just be patient-results will come! Ah, yes, do stay “white hat” oriented, it is important (you’ll know what I mean after you read some blogs)!Hope I helped! Good luck!

Is it easier to build a website or an app?

It depends on what aspect you're talking about. With websites you have to learn a multitude of different languages just to build something fully functional. For example: HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript or CoffeeScript, perhaps jQuery (which is really just a JavaScript library), C# or PHP (or the like), perhaps XML, perhaps JSON, many times SQL or MySQL, AJAX (all but 100% necessary), perhaps regex, and SEO. You also have to deal with how certain files work with your site, like how to deal with the web.config file (which is done in XML), how to deal with robot.txt (which helps tell search engines how to behave with your site), how to maintain information across pages in a stateless environment (done through query strings, hidden input fields, cookies, session variables, application data, cache, databases, and more), how to bolster security from threats like cross-site scripting (by encoding your values) and SQL injection (by parameterizing your queries), and, of course, let's not forget browser compatibility (Internet Explorer, I hate you and I hate your whole family). As for Apps (which I have A LOT less experience in) the only thing I can think of off of the top of my head is OS compatibility (other than the language you need to use and how to work with Windows/Linux/iOS), which I'm sure is a huge headache. Perhaps someone else is better to analyze the app side of this question.

What does it mean to build an engine?

I have a 2000 2.2l s10 and I want to make it faster. I don't need any drop a V8 or V6 answers because I've considered all of my options and I have decided that I want to put a turbo in my truck. It would be the wow factor I've been looking for. Websites claim that I can achieve 485hp on 25lbs of boost, but I need to build my engine to boost that much. Regardless of how much horsepower I actually achieve, what is involved in building an engine? How long would it take? How much would it cost? Thank you for reading and all responses are greatly appreciated.

Bible Code search on Obama, anyone want to help (email me what you find)... what I found so far?

for the fun of it I found a free bible code search site, no down load necessary, and started typing in terms, most came out invalid but I am having fun doing an Obama search on it.....

the website is at:
http://www.biblecodewisdom.com/

and my current search is:

war three starts Obama ends USA wont win death all die dead
http://www.biblecodewisdom.com/bibledefa...

because the input bar will only accept soo many words at once, I found that I can type in extra terms in the address bar by adding another "+ search term"

anyway, if you find anything more, please post it here, or email me through my profile as I find this interesting, lol

How to Practice Website Design?

Start by designing a site for yourself. Your portfolio website is often the first impression people get of your design skills.

Then find some people who need a website, and offer to do it for them for free, or at a low cost. My first professional websites were for my uncle's small business and for my dentist.

You might also ask around at local businesses. Get yourself some business cards (there are plenty of sites that will print them for you cheap... just google) and have them on hand any time you're out of the house, or post them if the business has an advertising board.

And of course, if you're so inclined, you can design themes for a pre-built CMS like Wordpress or Drupal. There are lots of sites that compile free themes, and several that you can actually make money on by selling your theme. Themeforest.com is good for that.
