Unlike Judaism, Islam and Christianity are proselytizing religions. They aspire to convert people all over the world to their religion, and believe that those who do not adopt their faith are damned. Islam was invented in Arabia, and is based upon bits and pieces of Jewish and Christian theology. It claims to have been passed along via Abraham’s son Ishmael, but there is no reason to believe that claim has any basis beyond the desire to create a link between it and the two more mature religions.Since Judaism came into existence approximately two thousand years prior to Islam it is not logical to ask if Jews and Moslems have a common ancestry. It is reasonable to assume that some Jews who lived under Islamic rule adopted the religion of their environment. It is less likely that many Moslems converted to Judaism, but it is not unheard of. In most cases if there is a combination it would be due to intermarriage.But since Islam originated in and spread from Arabia and Judaism didn't, I see no reason to assume any inherent connection between the adherents of the two religions.

This is the tribe of Prophet Muhammad. They are descendant of Patriach Abraham through his son Ismael who marry local Arab in the town which will be called Mecca. Included in Quraish Tribe is Muhammad descendant like currently Kings of Jordan and Kings of Morocco.So, the third one is the closest to the Jews. Part of the second one, the Levantine Arabs, is also closed to the Jews. They are the the cousins of the Jews. The Levantine Arabs (Palestinian, Syrian and Lebanese) actually closer to the Jews than to Yemen Arab etc which is the Original Arabs.The original or real Arab like Yemen are not so close to the Jews, but they are both Semite. So however they are still related.

Why do people make a big difference between Arabs and Jews if they share blood?

If I understand correctly, the question states that Arabs and Jews are genetically related, it asks why (given that relationship) the differences between them are portrayed with such emphasis, and finally it asks specifically whether the emphasis is due to a media effort to hide the relationship.My opinion-- and it's only my opinion, I don't know anything about media conspiracies or such-- is that on the one hand it would be great if everyone who's genetically similar got along.  In fact, everyone in the world is somewhat genetically similar and it would be great if we all got along.  But on the other hand, the similarity has never stopped conflicts from popping up.  In America, where I grew up, there were cases of brothers fighting on opposite sides of the Civil War.  In European history we read about bitter battles inside royal families.  In the Bible, Solomon's sons split the kingdom in two rather than come to an accommodation in a single regime.  So even if it were widely publicized that Arabs and Jews are genetically similar, I doubt the political effects would be dramatic.
