Does Beyonce Get Involve In Any Social Issues

The Catholic Church now discusses issues related to Social Security ????????

The Catholic church can, just like any other church speak up at anytime for any reason, just like you and me- however the fact that Smithfield gave them the time of day let alone agree to terms that are beneficial for people who are employed under false ssn#s floors me.
I think it would be fab- if some member of the Catholic church that interceded on the "undocumented worker's "
behalf discovered that it was their ssn#s that were being used to gain employment.
If the Catholic church wants to waste it's time defending criminals who have willfully failed to legally gain identification for employment, that is their business, but they should be aware all of America is watching and taking notes, a reputation is a hard thing to get rid of.

Why does the United States always get involved?

Actually, U.S. involvement in international affairs is not a constant theme. During both World Wars we adopted the policy of isolationism (not engaging in international politics).

Public opinion after WW1 was not to intervene because the cost of life was too grand, politicians feared social uprisings, since many were immigrants from either east and west Europe.

Where is an interesting website about the debate isolationism versus interventionism:

Social issues are problems that present challenges to a group or class of society or whole society. This is different from personal issues because personal issues only involve themselves or family or to kinship. The range of social issues is very large and it affects a large group of society or whole society.Since the norms of each society are different, issues can also be different. For example, Muslim society recognizes three divorcees, while in other societies it is not so.Social issues can emerge by the norms set by society or can emerge by different criteria of two sections of the society.Although issues such as economic, political, may be different from social issues, but these can also be the reason for social issues. For example, if economic growth is not inclusive then it can cause social conflict. At present, due to globalization new social issues are emerging, that is not only national but international factors are also causing social issues.f or example : consumerist culture. So there are many factors which are shaping social issues, in which some are traditional and some are non traditional. There are many examples of social issues such as poverty, racism, castism , social inequality, gender discrimination, unemployment, issues linked with education and health, regionalism, ,exploitation of children, displacement, the problem of migration, children's rights ,social conflict, communalism etc.

While I truly believe that the people of the U.S. would dearly like to help the people of Venezuela resolve their political, social and economic issues it does not seem as yet that the people of Venezuela want the U.S. to become involved. It is very unfortunate because with their oil reserves the Venezuelans could be a prosperous, even wealthy nation. They could in fact be an almost perfect socialist paradise, if that’s what they wanted, allowing the income from the sale of oil to support everyone in relative comfort and importing foreigners to run their shops and farms. But at the moment it looks as though they are going to have to fight it out amongst themselves, with Cuba unfortunately aiding the despotic government.I am aware that there are several hundred thousand perfectly good M1 Garand rifles in warehouses in South Korea left over from the Korean Conflict 64 years ago. Obama and Hillary blocked their repatriation to the U.S., but it seems to me this would be a viable option for Trump to get involved in a positive way by finding a way to smuggle these weapons into Venezuela, along with the ammunition for them. Maybe he could “donate” them to the government of Colombia after which he would not be responsible if they found their way across the border into Venezuela?Attention people - Venezuela is what happens when the people allow the government to confiscate privately owned weapons.

I refuse to date any girl who uses social media. Does anyone else (male or female) agree?

I really can t get past the idea of any potential significant other of mine using social media apps like Facebook, Twitter, or God forbid Instagram. I absolutely despise Instagram because to me, it s the definition of narcissism and a guaranteed ticket for relationship problems. I ve had a lot of bad experiences in past relationships with selfie addicted girls who would always post revealing photos to fulfill their craving for attention from other men, like it was the estrogen equivalent of methamphetamine. It drove me absolutely insane, and never worked out for obvious reasons. The way I see it, even if I wasn t dating an attention whore, you still don t need to be following other hot guys, liking all of their pictures and vice versa. That is just the ultimate disrespect to me, as I would never do that to a girl that I love, and that s why I stopped using social media altogether, a long time ago. I really don t see how it is possible to be in a happy, healthy, and committed serious relationship when social media is involved. Does anyone else feel the same way?

It is not good and not bad. You may have likes, dislikes and opinions about everyone and everything. What actually elevates you is the capability to form personal opinions discerning facts and put them in a consistent and unbiased image, where personal biases and values are recognised but not used blindly to motivate everything.

Because they are not really reacting to the thing you think they are reacting to.You can't understand why some minor event generated a huge response. Say you are being chastised for something that seems irrelevant to you. You're thinking Wtf, she's all worked up over this??? But really, she's not. She's worked up because of something that symbolized or represents to her, or the message she thinks is being conveyed. You're a little late, and she flips out. Is she really that uptight about promptness? No. She is upset because your being late and not calling to tell her reads to her like a message that you don't care, and she is not important to you. A few minutes late is tiny, not worth getting upset about. But being important to you, and knowing that you care, is huge, not tiny. Usually when you see an outsized reaction, if you read between the lines and find the emotional message or underlying meaning she is reacting to, you'll realize she's not as crazy as she seems. Just different.

Why does the government have to get involved when externalities exist?

It should be noted that government should only intervene when there is a technological externality, especially when it is significant. Pecuniary externalities are the by product of a healthy competition, and should not be disrupted by government involvment.

Consider a McDonald's operating in a rural area. It is the only fast food joint in the whole town, thus enjoying a certain amount of revenue. Let's say a Burger King opened up next to it, we would expect the revenue of McDonald's to drop, right ? Thus McDonald's experience an externality due to the opening of Burger King, but it's due to a free market competition (i.e. pecuniary externality), thus the government should not get involved.

Let us now consider the same rural area, which has a new fertilizer plant. The new plant produces fertilizer to exported, at the same time inflicting a certain amount of air pollution to the immediate vicinity. The locals suffers from the bad air quality (e.g. sickness etc.) The manufacturer did not account for this cost (the cost of pollution) in their manufacturing costs, thus the product (fertilizer) is produced below the actual cost (which tends to cause over-production). In cases such as this, the government has to step in (one way is to impose a Pigouvian Tax), to ensure the actual cost is borne by the producer, to ensure that the selling price reflects the cost to the environment.

p/s : The involvement here is explained from the aspect of microeconomics, as you requested. Although it should be noted that the scope of externality is more often discussed under macroeconomics. Hope this helps !

Beyonce gets me Perfectly!?

I understand what you mean. I love Beyonce SO much and she's helped me get through a lot throughout the past year. Whenever she sings, certain lines just get to me. Love her and the song.

Is it alright for the Catholic Church to get involved in politics? Why? or Why Not?

The Pope was for centuries, (and still is some would argue), the most powerful person in European politics, no Monarch could be crowned without permission from the pope, and most nations had to be recognised by The Vatican before it could be recognised internationally. The Vatican is still involved heavilly on the Stock Market and is a Corporation, Bank and Landowner, I think the Vatican and British Royal Family are the world's largest landowners. Nations needed Papal approval to go to war or invade another land etc The Vatican is also heavily involved with Secret Societies whose members include clergy, royalty, world leaders, businessmen etc etc
