Does Bio-Oil really work on scars?
I've been using Bio-Oil on a scar for about three months. I can say with up most confidence that Bio-Oil has made significant improvements on the appearance of my scar. Within the first month, my scar got lighter and it continued to improve over the months. Does bio oil really help?
BioOil (brand) contains many oils that are known to moisturize the skin and can be part of a healthy, moisturizing skin care routine. However, it cannot directly help repair the broken collagen and elastin that is the cause of stretch marks (striae distensae) or make scars disappear. * Rosemary and Lavender oils can help kill viruses, bacteria, fungus and yeast.* Chamomile and Calendula (marigold) oils can help calm skin and reduce inflammation.* Vitamin E is an anti-oxidant that can help reduce oxidative sun damage and smooth skin.* Vitamin A oil can theoretically help exfoliate skin, bring new cells to the skin surface, encourage new collagen growth and reduce inflammation and dilated blood vessels by strengthening surrounding collagen. Prescription retinoids (tretinoin) are the most effective for this. It is possible that the weak vitamin A in this product can have some of these effects with regular, continuous use.

I have really bad self-harm scars on my legs and arms, and im talking about deep scars, does Bio-Oil really work? If so how long will it take for my scars to fade? And where can i get Bio-Oil from?
Does bio oil really work for stretchmarks?
I have use Bio Oil for my stretch marks. I will admit it takes patience and consistency because it only works, of course, if you use it as often as the product requires. I have been using it for a few months now and my stretch marks have lightened. I'm not sure how long it takes to completely remove them, but i like it so far. Another product I've used in the past is St. Ives Apricot Scrub. Use it every time you take a bath or shower. This works too. I only began to use Bio Oil as a trial run.

Does Bio Oil work for Stretch Marks?
I'm starting to notice great improvements now after using it for almost 2 and a half months, and mine were very bad. That's the thing though, apparently you have to use it religiously for many months before results appear. Hope they help ya if you're giving it a try! Btw you can save money by buying vitamin-e oil capsule supplements and piercing them open. It's the exact same as bio oil apart from the fragrance ;¬)
Does bio oil really work to fade stretch marks?
From experience of both these products... Bio-oil (for me) was helpful in preventing further stretch marks. I did not feel as thouh it faded any of the stretch marks I already have and I used it for over 3months. Stri vectin is very strong and if you apply too much, can irritate your skin. but after a few uses I found my old stretch marks blending in with my skin (truly amazed). I have been using it for a little while and it seems to work wonders. However it is pretty pricey. In conclusion- bio oil works by preventing future stretch marks when used regularly. With Stri vectin you will definitely see results but it does come with a hefty price tag. Hope this helps.xx

I had the worst stretch marks. use bio oil every morning and night and then just put cocoa butter on everyday after taking a showerr. You will see results. TRUST me.
