Does Center Market Have Sluhies

What is the best Asian food market/grocer in Boston?

There are lots of choices in Boston and can't list them all, but here I go.In Chinatown Boston, C Mart Supermarkets (there are two, 692 Washington Street, right below Emperor's Garden, and 109 Lincoln Street, passed the gate and across the Surface Rd.) or Cheng Kwong Market (73 Essex Street) or Sun Sun Market (18 Oxford Street) are all within walking distance of each other. All of them should have lemon-grass, chili peppers, fish sauce, tofu.Super 88 closed a lot of its branches couple of years back, and still in some kind of legal problem pending sales (I think, don't quote me on that one)... But that Allston branch is one of the better one. (1095 Commonwealth Avenue, Allston)For Tamari, you may want to try Japanese/Korean groceries like Reliable Market (45 Union Square, in Somerville), Mirim Oriental Groceries (152 Harvard Ave, Allston), Japan Village Mart (200 Washington St, Brookline Village), or Ebisuya Japanese Market (65 Riverside Ave, Medford)If you have a car, Mother of all Korean/Japanese grocery is H Mart in Burlington (3 Old Concord Rd.) They are open 365 days a year. On the weekend, it is a zoo. Insanely fun (if you like being bumped into every 3 min.).If you are looking for great fresh asian vegetables (or all kinds of strange one, for that matter) try A. Russo and Sons (560 Pleasant St. Watertown). Choice they have will surprise you. I found yuzu (pomelo?) there the other day. Also, Market Basket in 400 Somerville Ave in Somerville seems to carry good choices of Asian vegetables including bok choy and lemon grass.

How much does a 7-Eleven owner make in a year?

Well, contrary to popular belief, 7-Eleven owners don’t typically make Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars. What they make varies greatly on their individual store, but here are some rough estimates:To get a very rough idea of the income a 7-Eleven can produce, just take 5% of store sales. So a store that does $1,300,000 in sales will make roughly $65,000.For a slightly more accurate forecast, you will need the following key factors to determine the possible income:Store salesStore GP% – how much out of every dollar you actually keep (roughly 36%)GP split with 7-eleven, 48-52 for the typical store (in favor of 7-Eleven) but will be worse if this is a high volume store, since your GP percent decreases as your total GP dollars increase.Payroll (including taxes & benefits) – A rough guideline is about 9% of sales, but this will increase if you choose to have a full time manager, get more traffic, or sell a lot of coffee.Other Expenses – A rough guideline is about 3% of sales, but could change significantly with inventory & cash shortages.Based on these factors, a typical store without gasoline having sales of:$900,000 * 36% GP * 49% split = $158,800 GP– $108,000 expenses = $50,000 income$1,300,000 * 36% GP * 48% split = $224,600 GP– $156,000 expenses = $68,000 income$2,000,000 * 36% GP * 47% split = $338,400 GP– $240,000 expenses = $98,000 incomeThese are still rough numbers, but I would guesstimate that the standard deviation is about $10K, meaning that 95% of all 7-Eleven’s with the above sales will have incomes between $50K – $100K with a variation of +-$20,000 depending on the operations of the specific store. So the overall range for the income of a 7-Eleven (without gas), with sales between $900K – $2mm is between $30K – $120K.

Where can I find a store that has a slush puppy machine in nyc?

WOW! This is a tough one. I don't ever recall seeing a slush puppy machine in Manhattan. The places that used to have slush puppies (when I was growing up) were all in central queens i.e. Middle Village, Elmhurst, Glendale. You have to go to those places that are sort of remote and isolated... find a corner deli there and good luck. I don't recall the last time I had one/saw a machine with it. The proliferation of 7-11's and their slushies kind of made the slush puppy obsolete.P.S. I just remembered that I saw Slush Puppies at a movie theater but don't recall which. Again, this is definitely one in Queens. I believe it's either Kaufman in Astoria, or National Amusement in Whitestone. Good luck! (I'll update this answer if I find it again)

What are the best tips for writing a resume?

A resumé is a very important document when it comes to getting jobs, so it is important to make it as excellent as possible. I was also very clueless about what to put on my resumé, I wasn’t sure as to what experience was relevant and my resumé turned out to be 3 pages long, it needed a lot of editing. I heard about this agency that made resumés so I approached them and they helped me out so much. They answered all my questions and did an excellent job. They are also the reason I can answer your question.I’m trying to share what I learned from my experience, but I think it’s best to have your resumé done by professionals; a resumé plays a crucial role in getting a job and with the rising competition it’s important to be the best. Here are a few tips to write your resumé:The first thing to keep in mind, is to keep the resumé concise. There is a lot that goes into making a resumé, but employers do not dedicate much time to reading resumé’s, so keep it between 1-2 pages. It is also important to prioritise what goes on your resumé. Using a template will help fit everything on one page and also make it look crisp.Tailor your resumé to fit the jobs needs. Put inexperience that is relevant to that job and would make the employer feel that you would be an asset to the organisation. List skills that would best suit the job.List your achievements and back them up with figures. Numbers make a difference as your achievements are now quantifiable. Also use action words like ‘organized, delivered, achieved’ etc.If you have recently graduated and do not have any work experience, list academic achievements, extracurricular activities, projects, presentations, and volunteer experience.Have an objective. It gives the employer a brief introduction of you and is especially useful if you’re looking for a job with no prior experience in the field. Be specific about your goal, what you plan to achieve and how you plan on using your skills in that position.Bonus Tip: You should keep all the relevant certificates with you, along with any recommendation letters and letters of appointment Make sure they are in good condition and crumpled. Same goes for your resumé, it has to be in good condition and not crumpled or torn. PLEASE MAKE SURE THERE AREN’T ANY SPELLING ERRORS.If these don’t help, you can read up some more on this blog here.Hope it helps! :)
