Does Doing B.tech/b.e In Mechanical Engineer From India Wik Not Found Me A Job In U.s.a

Does the Marine corps have Mechanical Engineering jobs?

NO, the Marine Corps does NOT have "mechanical engineering" MOSs. MOS 1300 is combat engineer series. They are not "mechical engineers". The Marines in this MOS are vehicle mechanics, heavy equipment operators, and EOD experts responsible for clearing fields of fire, installing expeditionary bridges to faciliate movement of units across obstacles, finding IEDs and land mines, building air fields and defensive positions.

Mechanical Engineering is a college level discipline that focuses on design, experimentation, production, and testing of vehicles such as cars, trucks, trains, factory manufacturing equipment, robotics, etc. My secondary college major is ME. My primary is Aerospace Engineering. Also indepth familarization with Marine Corps Combat Engineering mission and duties.

We do send officers to postgraduate school at Monterey CA to earn an MS in a variety of displines. There is a ME and AE field taught at Monterey but the Corps does not have a MOS requirement for MEs, only AEs. The MOS for the special education program for post grad school is the 8800 series.

Lieutenant Colonel, US Marine Corps Retired (27 years service with a MS from Postgrad School Monterey)

PS: Take a look at the link from the other person answering, you will not find mechanical engineering as part of the MOS descriptions listed!

Mechanical engineering and color blindness?

There really shouldn't be major hurdles for you, especially since you are aware of your particular situation. As an interviewer and manager, I do not think this would disqualify you from any openings.

If you spend much time at a computer doing CAD, you will need to pay particular attention to your layer management. Color is the primary distinguishing factor on the computer screen. Once a CAD file is plotted, it is usually all black and white.

Who earns more ? A Civil Engineer or An Accountant or a Mechanical Engineer ? I am a student?

I would say between a mechanical and a civil engineer, take the mechanical. The pay range it larger; however, both start off almost the same. You'll want to have a masters for both if you want advancement.

Accountants get paid good money, but it depends on who you work for (business, state, etc.). Plus you'll need a CPA to be a licensed accountant. I would say that engineers make more than accountants.

So I would take mechanical engineering put its up to you what you like. Try not to go for money; if you don't like your job, you'll be miserable and rich (ironic?). Also, watch your GPA.

I have a friend thats going for chemical engineering and that has a higher pay range than the three jobs listed (depending where you work).

What is the best option for a Mechanical Engineer after a Bachelor’s in Engineering?

There are so many things you can do.But I will tell you first what not to do?Don’t do any higher education in India going for M.E/M.Tech or MBA, in India. If you want to take up a job in Industry your post graduation is almost useless 99%. You will regret this after 10 years of experience or more, which I am doing now. As far industry the number of years and the content of your experience and your achievements matter. 5 years down the line after you start work no recruiter will ever enter the educational area of your resume. It all matters only to entry into industry for the chance of campus interview whether you study in IIT or IIM and whether you are graduate/post-graduate. Later no one looks at it.If you are really interested interested in research then take GATE exam and get into premier institutes like IIT / NIT’s and sure pursue your PhD. Then you have to be clear that you are gonna start your career very late from rest of your friends. But MBA is a useless thing to do after engineering. It is a fashionable thing started few years back. But it is a baseless thing to do a technical under graduation and move onto a management career unless you found clearly engineering is not my thing and want to shift your career path from hardcore engineering. What to do?Instead of planning for a job plan for a career. To be very broad no matter what engineering you did two things are gonna rule the world from now.Energy - Alternative fuel sources, Electric carsWater - Water treatment, water structuresThis is gonna change the whole industrial world. Big oil companies are gonna lose their infrastructure and investments overnight which the oil barons are resisting and hiding to figure out how to save their ass.

Do Civil and Mechanical Engineers Work together?

The traditional work of engineers of all disciplines is to design systems and facilities. Engineers are also commonly asked to perform studies such as feasibility of alternative energy or site soil condition studies, etc.

In the design of facilities, all engineering disciplines, civil, structural, mechanical and electrical, work together as a team under the project management of the architect, to coordinate the design of a building. Civil Engineers perform the site work, which includes excavating and installing structural fill to support the building, parking lot, etc., developing storm drain systems, and connections to water and waste water utilities. Mechanical engineers design the heating, plumbing, roof drain system, ventilation and air conditioning systems, including the building controls for these systems. Electrical engineers design the electrical service entrance and metering, power distribution, standby and emergency power systems, lighting, network communications system, security system, fire alarm system, public address system, keyless entry system, etc.. Structural engineers design the foundation and building structure.

In addition to building site work, civil engineers design roads and airports and provide significant roles in the design of bridges and dams. In some states, civil engineers who specialize in structures, perform the role of a structural engineer.

Mechanical engineers also work in the research and development departments in the development of automobiles, aircraft, space craft, ships, trains, etc.

Can and do mechanical engineers smoke marijuana?

"I'm an idiot and make poor choices that are entirely unrelated to weed such as playing NBA 2K instead of doing Numerical Methods homework."
Does anyone else see the problem with that testimonial??? LOL I can't believe he wrote that.

Look, THC is detected up to 90 days in hair samples.
That's why intake testing isn't urine.

If you're really a pothead, then know that you won't be fooling anyone. Just like people with drinking problems aren't transparent, neither are potheads. They THINK everyone else doesn't know, but the reality is very different. (I refer back to previous testimonial)

There is a very competitive market out there and you really shouldn't risk your position for a habit.

Also, if you think it's not affecting you long-term or affecting your current efforts, you're in denial.
The long-term effect of cannabinoids on mental functions are well established.
How do we all pick out the stoners? Because it does affect you. If it doesn't... then you have a very expensive it-does-nothing-to-me habit. ALL of the people I've known who didn't quit their adolescent ways have ended up 20 years older and not much more to show for it.

And don't kid yourself. The reason they call it "random" testing is so they can pop you... and they will. If you're lucky, it will be before you get comfortable and just bought a home.
Someone will actually enjoy doing it... so don't kid yourself.

I work for a multi-billion dollar company and I've seen plenty of people get sent packing.

Is there any scope for aeronautical engineers in india?

I am an aeronautical engineer, pursuing my master’s education in aerospace engineering in the United States. So, I think I am quite adept at answering this question.Aerospace engineering, as some pointed out, is a combination of two intertwined sciences: Astronautical Engineering and Aeronautical EngineeringAstronautical Engineering refers to the science of flying specifically in the outer space. Therefore, space science is very closely related to astronautical engineering.Aeronautical Engineering is the subject dealing with aerial machines and their complete functioning in various domains such as structures, aerodynamics, propulsion, and avionics. In India, you have institutes mostly offering Aeronautical Engineering. Now coming to the scope for aeronautical engineering in the country, I won't bluff but it's pretty meagre. It's tough to secure a job post your bachelor's. Of course, there are a few government companies such as DRDO, HAL, and NAL; but most of them require recommendations to get in or may have their own entrance exams especially in the case of IIST to later on join ISRO.When I graduated from my undergraduation studies in 2015, none of us got a job in a core aerospace firm. And our college, although not an IIT or NIT, was an acclaimed institution for aeronautical engineering. Most of us had to go for Infosys or Google to find some employment.I did have a chance to do an internship at Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) which was rewarding. But you still cannot deem it to be great and in most likelihood need connections to get through the door. So, in short I'd say, the scope for aeronautical engineering in India isn't great. But of course, master’s degree from an IIT or NIT would definitely help, but don't dream to be a rich man by your degree. That's just not happening! Finally, pursue Aerospace for the love of aerial machines, flight, aviation, sky, and aeroplanes; and not for riches and a super comfortable, effortless life!
