Does Facebook Publish Who You Just Became Friends With

What happens when I unfriend someone on Facebook?

If you're asking what happens technically, the answer is (relatively) simple:They no longer show up in your news feed. Depending on your privacy settings, and the privacy settings of the person you unfriend, you still may see each other's comments and posts if you have mutual friends. To explain:Say I'm friends with Joe Smith. Joe unfriends me, but Jane Doe is our mutual friend. Joe and I will no longer show up in each other's feeds on Facebook, for the most part. But if Jane comments on Joe's post, or Joe comments on a post Jane is tagged in, I might still see these posts and comments.Of course, that depends on privacy settings. If Joe's settings make it so only friends can see his posts, I shouldn't see his posts, even if Jane comments on them. In some cases I might see them, but I won't be able to comment on them.I, personally, have a public account, so Joe could still see anything and everything I post (except the occasional post I share only with friends), and would still be able to comment on them. All that said, if you're asking what happens when you unfriend someone on Facebook in the psychological/sociological sense, that entirely depends on the two of you. Some people get very upset if they're unfriended by someone. They may get angry and lash out. They may post about it publicly. They may contact you to ask why. They may bad-mouth you to other people.Other people don't care (or don't notice). If you're unfriending someone to make a point and the other person doesn't notice or care, did you really unfriend them?I look at unfriending as the nuclear option - if you're unfriending someone you're actually close with in real life (a family member, perhaps), it can cause real issues. Better to "unfollow" this person so that you're still friends but his or her posts won't show up in your feed.If you don't know why you're friends with this person and can't remember how you even met, this person probably won't either and I wouldn't think would even notice the unfriending.

I unfriended my crush on facebook?

I added him on facebook. We don't personally know each other. Just that i sing in church and he sings too so we've seen each other and know each other from afar in that context. So we never interacted on facebook though he accepted my friend request. He's the shy and quiet kind of guy. So one night i suddenly got embarrassed that i ever added him, ya know a girl sending a friend request to a boy, so i unfriended him. What do you think will be his possible impression if he finds out i unfriended him? I think he kind of know i liked him, i'm not sure.

Can parents see facebook messages?

I talk to my boyfriend through facebook messaging because he recently got his phone taken away. Last night, my Mom told me that my dad saw some messages to him. My question is, how could they have seen the messages? It was completely over facebook, and they dont know my password, plus i changed the password, so it would have logged them out. Also, i dont even live with my dad, so i dont know how he could have seen anything. Im so confused?!?! can someone please tell me how he appaerntly is reading my facebook messages??

When you block someone on Facebook, will they still see your old posts on their timeline?

No they will not. Once you block someone all of your comments and activity cannot be seen by them. Also, you will not be able to see any of their activity either. However, if they are signed out of Facebook & you have not blocked search engines from your profile, they may still be able to see some of your activity. If you don’t want search engines to link to your profile, you can adjust your Privacy Settings. To adjust your settings:Tap and scroll to the bottomTap Account Settings > PrivacyUnder the Who can look me up? section, tap Do you want other search engines to link to your timeline? and make your selectionNote: Information from your profile and some things you share can still appear in search engine results even if you select No. Public information may still appear in search results. This includes stuff you share with the audience set to Public, posts and comments on Pages and Public groups and posts in the Community Forum section of the Help Center.Source: Help Center

If a post on Facebook is 'only me' and then later change the privacy settings to 'public', will the post appear on my friends' timeline/wall?

Ok, this is not major issue that you describe. It needs a simple answer but after read all answers i think that people made it hard. When you set post's Privacy at ‘only me’ that means that on one is able to see this without you. Here you can see that this post in below photo is private. But when i set this post's privacy to ‘public’. there is 99% chance that this post is not appear on your friend's timeline only because that this post is old post and facebook doesn't reappear old post on users timeline. How can you make that post visible on friend's timeline? That's very simple you can do this thing on any facebook post to make it visible on tour friend's and followers timeline.Just comment on particular post to make it visible on your friend's timeline That's done.Image source: mobile gallery

I'm blocked from Facebook for 30 days. Can the block be lifted before 30 days?

Ofcourse your ban can be lifted! If and only if you speak to Mark Zuckerberg in person. The real answerThe ban cannot be lifted before 30 days. The following reasons for you getting banned:A group of people must've reported you.Posting inappropriate pictures and videos.Sending way too much random friend request to unknown people. There is no way you can call Facebook executive but you can visit 'Help center' on Facebook page and get your queries solved. You've to wait for 30 days to access your account completely.I suggest you to be calm, wait for 30 days and do not repeat the mistakes you've done this time.

If you post something on Facebook as "only me" and after a long period of time you change it so your friends can see it, will it appear on their newsfeed as a new post appears or merely be seen on your account?

It won't show up on news feed as a new post.  It could show up a long way down in news feed (depending on how many other posts you've made, how much time has elapsed, etc).  Privacy settings don't affect post priority, just which people can actually see the post.  However, if you or someone else should happen to interact with it (comment or like), that activity may show up on news feed even years later.Example:A posts "XYZ" on 1 January with regular settings.  A's friends mostly see it that day or the next day.  By 5 January, it's pretty much not in anyone's news feed, though if A doesn't  post much it might show up toward the bottom of news feed for some friends.  On 15 January, someone comments on A's old post.  It might then show up as "C commented on A's post 'XYZ' from 1 January".A posts "XYZ" on 1 January with "only me".  It might actually show up in A's news feed but no one else can see it.  By 5 January, A can probably change the privacy setting without it showing up as a new post for the most part.  But if someone comes along and comments on it, it might show up again the same as described above.

How do I prevent Facebook from blocking my Facebook account?

Don't hurry. Go slow ⛛ and steady!Facebook blocks [generally] newer accounts. So, if you are there on Facebook since ages, chances are you'll be given warning ⚠ for the same act which could lead blocking for the newer accounts. So here's how to avoid Facebook from blocking you.Universal Point: Don't use scripts or automated programs unless necessary. And even if you do, be wise and smart. Schedule them. Don't use multiple scripts at the same time. Give each task at least a min to occur and rest time of an hour or two after 4–5 hours of continuous scripting. Because Facebook needs to be convinced it's you [human] not some robot doing them.Sending Friend Requests: Don't hurry up and try send to send huge numbers of friend requests. Send as low as 40 [yes, this is magic number on Facebook] requests. Because if high numbers of requests rejected, you're in problem.Accepting Friend Requests: If you're creating fake girl accounts, you're likely to be bombarded with perverts’ friend requests or sometimes fake girls’ accounts like yours. It can be sometimes as high as 100–200. So, don't accept more than 40 at once.Sharing posts: Don't share nudes or racist posts for they can't be injurious to your account if anyone make their mind to report your post.Posting to groups: Don't post same post/shares unless you've used Text Spinners or your own mind to make every shared/posted post on groups as unique. Be sure, don't cross 40 limit. Post to only 40 groups once a day.Don't impersonate: Don't impersonate anyone. Even if you do, be super-smart and super-wise. Block the person and their possible BFFs and relatives whom you're impersonating. This is to stop anyone from reporting you!CaseClosed ™
