Does FaceTime cost money for overseas?
I have a iPhone 5C with Sprint 3G. I want to talk to my cousin who lives in Japan (I live in the US) with Face Time, but my parents fear that it might cost money. Does it? I use Cellular Network because my house doesn't have WiFi. Thanks

If you are on WiFi then there should not be any data charges for using facetime.

They cannot see you until they accept the call, the only thing they can see is your name/email/phone number before you pick up the call to see who is calling them, but no. They cannot see you until you can see them.
Can you FaceTime with a person from another country?
I have a pen pal, and we decided to video chat on FaceTime, tomorrow for me and later for her. I have an ipod touch and she has an iphone. She lives in Guiyang, China. I have her email added in my contacts. I was just wondering if I can contact her just by calling her or I have to do something else? If I need her country's code number (or something like that) can you tell me it? :)

Does using FaceTime take up memory in your Iphone, or use up Data?
I've noticed before that when looking back to check how long I facetimed with another person, it would show like 121 MB, 67 MB or however much. I recently facetimed my boyfriend and we accidentally fell asleep, so I checked back on it right now, 8 hours later, and it says 2GB. That's a lot. Is this data I used up or is this 2GB space I took up on my iPhone?

This is the bug, and is already mitigated by having group calls disabled.If your device is ringing and instead of answering the call or rejecting the call, you use the side buttons to silence the ringing, then the device will autoanswer including video.None of this is possible anymore. It depends on your carrier. T-mobile has worked for me in Italy, Greece, Spain, Bahrain, Brazil and Israel while verizon did not work at all. T-mobile to my knowledge is the only one that you can make phone calls or use data with without being connected to wifi. My suggestion is use skype if you want to make face time calls and be near wifi. Overseas most restaurants and bars have wifi for free and applications work without a signal as long as you can use wifi. If you have T-mobile and you will be out of country for a while I suggest you get their unlimited plan and add international features and try not to call to many people for to long as it gets pricey. If you want to talk to a friend with an iPhone you need to put their phone number in your contacts. Then you can open the facetime app and talk to them. If they have an iPod Touch or an iPad, you put their email in your contacts list and then open the app, click their name, and that's it! If they have their device turned off your phone will still ring until a certain amount of time and then say _____ was not available. You will see your picture in a corner at the top to check and make sure you are in the camera range. You can not leave voice mail. If you hit the button with a mic and a line through it that cuts your mic and the person you are talking to can't hear you. If you hit the button with a camera picture on it it will go to your other camera; they can see from the other side (if you wanted to show them your pet you would hit that button and they could see your pet and you can still see them). If you hit your circle button on the bottom of your device you can pause the image and check your email or play an app will talking to the other person. NOTE: They will not see you and you will not see them until you hit resume Facetime. The End button ends the call.
