Does It Annoy You That So Many Products These Days Contain Toxic Substances Purely For Convenience

Is it safe to put regular contact solution in your eyes if they get dry?

It depends what you mean by “regular contact solutions”.With disposable contacts nowadays, the solutions don’t have to be too harsh anymore, and most now are multi-purpose; for cleaning, for storing, for LUBRICATING.If it doesn’t specifically say lubricating (or similar) i wouldn’t put it in my eyes.As to all the talk here about preservatives, i reckon see how you go… if it comes in a bottle (as opposed to a single-squirt vial) then its gonna have preservatives - INCLUDING the purpose-made lubricants for dry eyes.

Im 14 and i want to start using tampons?

hey girl, im 13 and started using tampons when i was 12!! beleive me, your not alone when it comes to being freaked out at first. i was terrified! (lol)

ok, so in my opinion and most peoples opinion of the best tampons to buy are the playtex sport. there comfy, obsorb good, and are easy to insert. im not going to tell you how to insert them, but type in on youtube these EXACT words: "how to put on a tampon" and the 2nd video to come up is called: "how to put on a tampon :D" by ilikeweylie click on that one because she (in my opinion) has the best videos and her tampon video is great. check that one out first, then look at all the others. good luck!!

How can the best acrylic paint brand be identified?

I would not limit myself to one brand. Also it depends on what you want to achieve. Some things I look for when buying paint are:Single Pigment Colors - Just because it doesn’t say hue doesn’t mean it isn’t. I’ve seen multi-pigment earth colors (the horror!). Then with convenience colors like Payne’s Gray, they are always mixes (so they’re not labeled as hues), but some brands might use 2 pigments and others 3 or more! To make things even more confusing, some hues are perfectly fine single pigment colors! I just ignore the names these days.Price - Price can be a big factor. Not all brands organize their paints into the same series. Usually for example transparent burnt sienna is quite expensive and it might look like few brands offer it, but if you shop around by it’s pigment (PR 101) you’ll find it under different names (even burnt sienna which it is not) at better prices.Lightfast I Rating - This usually depends on the pigment, not the brand, but some brands will not carry a Lightfast I color I like so I have to buy from a different one.High Pigment Load - Usually the more expensive the brand the better, but only so far as I can actually afford them. I try to avoid student grade paints. Also if you test around some brands in the same category / price point are better than others.I also avoid slow drying paints since they have less pigment and you can just add slow drying medium or retarders as necessary. Some people might opt for them though out of convenience.Texture/Stiffness - Different brands grind their paints differently. I prefer stiffer paints so they don’t turn to mush when I store them in my stay wet palette. But it’s up to you.Uneven Gloss Across Colors - Some pigments are naturally matte and some naturally glossy. Some brands try to even out the gloss across colors but this involves adding matte/gloss agents which can decrease pigment loads. I prefer it when they don’t do this. It’s a bit annoying while painting, but you can always add a layer of gloss medium on top and varnish to whatever finish you prefer. But again up to you.Customer Service - I try to avoid buying from brands that don’t reply to questions. Also the more info they supply the better (which is why I like Golden). The Actual Color - The same color with the same pigment might vary wildly across brands.

How to shave facial hair correctly?

Always shave in the direction the hair is going (with the grain)
like above said if you shave against it, yes you will get a closer shave but you can get ingrown hairs and cysts and those really suck. And always change your blade on the razor every month or sometimes even sooner. and use shaving cream and after shave lotions afterwards.

Shave in the direction it is smooth that is with the grain.

GIRLS ONLY! Does this break my wuzu?

Praise be to Allaah.

This kind of discharge is passed a great deal by women. It is taahir (pure) and not naajis (impure), and there is no need to do ghusl because of it. All it does is invalidate wudoo’.

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) was asked about it and he replied:

After researching the matter, it seems to me that the discharge that is passed by women, if it does not come from the bladder but rather from the womb, then it is taahir…

This is the ruling on this discharge with regard to tahaarah (purity) – it is taahir and does not make the clothes or the body naajis.

With regard to wudoo’, the ruling is that it invalidates wudoo’, unless it is continual, in which case it does not invalidate wudoo’, but the woman should not do wudoo’ for each prayer until after the time for the prayer has begun, and she has to use a pad.

But if it starts and stops, and it usually stops at the time of prayer, then she should delay the prayer until the time when it stops, so long as there is no fear that the time for prayer will end. If she fears that she will miss the prayer, then she should do wudoo, use a pad and pray. It makes no difference if there is a little or a lot, because it is all coming from the front passage so a little or a lot invalidates wudoo’.

Majmoo’ Fataawa Ibn ‘Uthaymeen, 11/284

Using a pad means placing a piece of rag or cotton etc in the vagina so that less of this discharge will come out, and to prevent it getting on to the clothes or body.

Based on this, there is no need to do ghusl because of this discharge, and it does not affect the fast. With regard to prayer, wudoo’ must be done for each prayer after the time for the prayer has begun, if the flow is continual.

And Allaah knows best.

Why are people still eating McDonald's food, despite the fact that everyone knows how unhealthy it is?

People eat McDonald's food because it is delicious and it is cheap. I'm going to get lots of sarcastic responses to my "delicious" comment. I cook dinner at home 4 nights each week, my wife does it 3 times, and any outsider would consider what we produce to be gourmet. For six years I owned a gourmet restaurant in Berkeley that was very highly rated, called "Inn Season". It competed directly with Chez Panisse: our food was 85% as delicious, and cost half as much.   I almost never eat at McDonald's. My favorite dishes to prepare at home are salmon (still red and fleshy) with capers and Sherry; and chicken cooked in a complex peanut sauceBut when I do eat at McDonald's, I am astonished at the nourishment I can buy for $1.  Indeed, their $1 hamburger (that they had last time I ate there) was a sufficient dinner; it provided all the calories I needed, and with the lettuce topping and bread bun it was a decently balanced meal.  Fast food is unhealthy primarily because you eat it so quickly that your body doesn't have to reduce your hunger sensations -- so you overeat.  Overeating is the primary problem with fast food. In terms of quality, their hamburgers would be considered gourmet by anyone who judged it by the food standards of 100 years ago. As I said, I rarely eat them myself because I prefer more variety and delicate flavors.  But from the perspective of most people in the world, they are delicious -- and amazingly cheap.
