Is it wrong to read someones text messages?
Well, it's probably not the greatest thing to do - was the phone just lying around or did you purposely look? If it was lying around, I would honestly tell you that I would do the same thing...it's human nature...
Why does she flip out over stupid little things?
What's stupid to one person might not be stupid to another. Question..does she pay your cell phone bill? I told both of my kids that I provided them with a phone so I can reach them and if I can't reach them on the phone I'm paying for then they don't need it. I do have to give you credit for answering the phone. I don't think it's a really big deal but this is your mother. To make her happy and keep down the arguing and also to make your life easier, I would just sit down and delete a few of the messages so her text could come through. Thinking outside of the box, some other things you could do is to give text and calls from her a special tone so you can know it's her and give her calls and text top priority. You should also be able to set your text to delete oldest messages to prevent the box from ever becoming full. That's what I had to do because I often ran into the same problem with a full inbox. You have to decide what battles to fight and which ones to just give in to. I can tell you that most battles with a parent isn't worth fighting.
Is it illegal for teachers to read your text messages without parent/student permission?
Okay, so I'm wondering if it is illegal by state or school or ANY laws, for a school staff member (applies to anyone who works in the school) to read your messages and look at your calls after taking your phone away? All students at my school understand that our phones can be taken away, but a few of us got upset after a teacher read my friends text messages, and wants to talk to me because some were 'innapropriate'. It's a total invasion of privacy, and she has NO right to look at them without the student's and/or the students parent/guardian's permission. I am trying to clarify this before I go back to school on Monday (january 14th '08) because I do not believe it is right, and all of my very supportive friends are there to back me up and they don't agree either. So, could I get some help/clarification on this?

So, if a guy judges the trust in our relationship, based on that i like cleaning, i better not be with him.Now considering another perspective that you doubt he was watching/accessing something he wants to hide from you. Girl! Give him space. He is not your 3 year old kid, whose mother should know everything about what he is doing. He may be watching porn, or may be he would be accessing his peronal bank accounts, and does not want the uid/passwords to be stored/used by anyone else, so what? Its his choice. Even if he does this to you, its your choice. Give him his space, and have trust on him, as the foundation of your relationship should not be based on just a feature provided by web browsers.Also, on this i would like to add, i see people who keep asking passwords of their spouses/lovers. Why in this world you want to do that? To check with whom (s)he is talking, is (s)he liking/commenting on that beautiful girl/handsome guy's pictures, or to keep a check on all his(her) activities? Just giving passwords does not prove loyalty of a person. I can fool you, if i want to, by giving you my password of FB account, and creating another one.
