Does It Not Confirm That Muhammed

What does the Bible say about Prophet Muhammad?

The Prophecy of the coming of a "Messenger" after Jesus Christ(pbuh):-PBUH- Peace Be Upon HimJohn 14:16:-Jesus Christ said "And I will pray the father, he shall send another comforter, that he may abide with you"John 15:26:-Jesus Christ said "And when the comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the father, even the spirit of truth, who proceedeth from the father, he shall testify me".John 16:12–14:-Again Jesus Christ said " I have many things to say unto you but you cannot bear them now. How be it, when he the spirit of truth is come, he will guide you unto all truth, he shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that he shall speak, he shall show you things to come. He shall glorify me."The above verses clearly refer to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as he was the the only religious figure after Jesus Christ(pbuh) who testified Jesus Christ as an article of faith. He 'glorified' Jesus Christ and as a matter of fact, Muslims are the only other people who believe in Jesus Christ. No Muslim is a Muslim if he doesn't believe in Jesus Christ. . . . . but as a Mighty Messenger of God and not as Son of God.The following verse confirms that the comforter being prophesied is indeed Prophet Muhammad.Isaiah 29:12 :-" And the book is delivered to him who is not learned, saying read this, I pray thee, and he saith, I am not learned".When angel Gabriel commanded Prophet Muhammad by saying 'Iqra' meaning 'read', Prophet Muhammad replied ' I am not learned'. These lines were the very first verses of the Qur'an which were revealed upon Prophet Muhammad(pbuh).This to me is amazing.

Can I use the name Muhammad?

no u cant coz thats my name too, lol

Why is Muhammad (PBUH) revered more than Jesus in Islam if?

Mohommed did sleep with a 9 year old (according to the scriptures of the Muslims), but marrying multiple women is generally not against ancient religion. Prohibition on polygamy is a more modern thing.

Muslims don't respect Jesus. They just say they do to placate the Christians.

Bible (1 John 4:2) says that those who confirm Jesus, are true prophets of God. Muhammad confirmed Jesus; does this mean he is true prophet of God?

It is true John 4:2 says those who confirm Jesus are true prophets of God. However, this does not mean Muhammad, who confirmed Jesus is a “true prophet” in Christianity.The Bible verse mentioned is loaded with metaphors and exaggerated definitions and cannot be understood in technical terms.First of all, let’s discuss the term “confirm.” In the context of the verse, confirm means “believe that Jesus died for everyone’s sins and that those who believe him shall be saved.” By this loose definition, Muhammad did not confirm Jesus because he did not preach that Jesus died for everyone’s sins and that Jesus is the way to salvation. Instead, Muhammad simply acknowledges Jesus’s existence, but believes that Jesus got God’s message wrong.Next, the term “prophets of God” does not mean an actual prophet like Elijah or John the Baptist. in the verse, prophets of God refers to someone who is blessed by God’s salvation through Christ and can share Christ’s message with others. People such as Paul are in such terms “prophets” even though God did not appear unto Paul.The bible often uses exaggerated speech that needs to be interpreted in different contexts. John 4:2 is one of those verses.Hope this helps!

Did Jesus ever mention Muhammad as the last prophet?

According to some researchers, there is a number of verses in the bible that are mentioning the prophet Muhammad.For example: Peter describing the time of "That Prophet" [that propet is referring to "that prophet" mentioned in Deuteronomy 18:18] says:"He shall send Jesus Christ which before was preached unto you; whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. For Moses truly said unto the fathers, a Prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you."(The Acts 3:20-22).These words of Peter evidently imply that the advent of "that prophet" will take place before the second advent of Jesus Christ. Jesus pointed out in the parable of the vineyard that after him shall come the Lord of vineyard and added:"The kingdom of God shall be taken form you and given to a nation bringing forth fruits thereof." (Matthew 21:43).Thus Jesus has made it clear that the Prophet who was to come after him was not to be of the Israelites, but from another nation - their brethren, the Ishmaelites.This prophecy has been fulfilled in the person of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW), the Holy Founder of Islam. For in the first place, he came from among the descendents of Ishmael, the brethren of Israelites; so that the promise of God concerning Ishmael be fulfilled: " I have blessed him... and I will make him a great nation." (Genesis 17:20).Secondly, he was the prophet who came with a new law -- the law of the Quran. None of Israelite prophets including Jesus of Nazareth (AS), with the exception of Moses (AS), brought a new law or dispensation; not did any of them claim to have been like unto Moses (AS). On the other hand, it has been expressly written about Hazrat Muhammad SAW) in the Holy Quran that he was the prophet like unto Moses (AS)."We have raised a prophet among you like unto the prophet hat We sent to Pharoah" (73:16).

Muslims, The Quran says it confirms and is a continuation of the scriptures?

Very funny Muslims!!!

If, as you claim, the books were corrupted before Mohammed's arrival by Paul and constantine or whomever you claim to have did so, then mind explaining this;

Surah 5.68 - Say: O followers of the Book! you follow no good till you keep up the Taurat and the Injeel and that which is revealed to you from your Lord;

Apparently here, Allah is speaking directly to the Christians and Jews that were AVAILABLE at Mohammed's time. So are you saying that Allah was speaking to those DEAD People of the Book who had the original scriptures??
And where exactly does it say in the Quran that IT is refering to the Original scripture? Do you have any solid prove for this claim?

Why would Allah refer them as guidance and light and forget to mention this is for the "original scriptures"? Why would Allah VERIFY them in Arabic?

Surah 46:12 we are told.... "And before it the Book of Musa (Moses) (Torah) was a guide and a mercy: and this is a Book VERIFYING (it) in the Arabic language that it may warn those who are unjust and as good news for the doers of good......"

In Surah 5:48 we are told that Mohammad is given the Qur'an as a confirmation of the bible; that is - it is meant to prove the bible's authenticity.... "And We have revealed to you the Book with the truth, verifying what is before it of the Book and a guardian over it,"

So basically, Mohammed attests to the Bible's authority!!!!

And besides, in Sahih Bukhari Hadith Book 38, no. 4434, it says that a group of Jews went to Muhammad and ask him to pronounce judgment on an adulterous couple. Muhammad asked for the Torah to be brought before him, and the couple was subsequently stoned, in accordance with the penalty laid down in the Torah.

Mohammed REFERED to the Torah AND used the Torah's laws on the Jews. Now if it was indeed corrupted, why would Mohammed judge the Jews in accordance with the Torah?? That wouldn't make any sense, would it? Or would he happen to have had the original scriptures with him, the "uncorrupted" one?

Muslims, get to the facts and do not try to hide from the truth. I ask you again, IF Mohammed (and Allah) never said that the Bible were corrupted and considered them as guidance book, who are you to conclude that the Holy Books are corrupted?

Whats the best proof of Muhammad's existence?

Great question. I would love to see an evidence outside of islamic sources prove that Muhammad existed.

To add more doubts to your question. Muhammad is claimed to be born of the year of the elephant.

The story that the Christian Ethiopian ruler of Yemen Abraha, built a church in Yemen and wanted the Arabs to preform pilgrimage to it instead of the Kaaba in Mecca.

Well, the Arabs did not. So he marched an army on Mecca with several elephants (I believe 13 elephants) to destroy the Kaaba.

Muslims claim that Muhammad was born around 570 C.E. and declare to be a prophet when he was 40 at 610 C.E. and died around 632 C.E.

Here is the problem, if there was such Ethiopian campaign, it was to support the Romans against the Persian in their war.

Actually most of the scholars date Abraha death to 552 C.E. or a little bit after. Check this inscription:

Published by Saudi ministry of education. It state the Sabean year 662.

Now, if Abraha died almost 18 years before Muhammad birth, what that tell us?

Also, why on earth he march elephants in a dune desert?! These elephants needs tons of water and food to travel almost 700 miles from Yemen to Mecca?!

Why anybody wants to attack a small village like Mecca which does not have walls of stone or towers with such mighty elephant force?!
