Does It Seem Like My Interview Went Well

How to tell if an interview went well?

it is easier to tell when it has gone bad for someone else.

what you said is promising but if it is great company then there will be competition. depending on the profession interviews should take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour or more. i don't want to burst your bubble but we know nothing of the employer or of you, so it is hard to give a really accurate informed answer.

job interviews are a lot like the test you took in school.
you generally knew when you did good and knew the answers.
when you did bad, you knew that also.

results seldom surprise us, if we are honest with ourselves.

What are the signs that an interview went well?

One good sign is if they immediately ask you to a second interview or schedule a time for you to come back. Another is if they start talking to you about non job related stuff, just friendly banter. Longer interviews are usually another good sign too.

Does it sound like my interview went well and that I could receive an offer?

It does sound like your interview went well. The fact they are interviewing you indicates they already think you are qualified for the job; and the fact that they seemed to enjoy your conversation in the interview indicates they would probably enjoy working with you. However, it wouldn’t hurt to think of some good questions to ask the HR person just to stay in contact.Good luck!

What are signs a job interview went well?

I went on a interview. On my way in the receptionist greeted me warmly and told me not to be nervous that the interviewer ( VP of the dept.) was harmless. The interview began well with some light general conversation about my week. They asked many questions but none of them seemed to be doubting of my experience. They verbally acknowledged alot of my answers as " making alot of sense" and "excellent". They asked me when i could start at the end but we didn't talk about the salary and benefits (salary was however left on my voicemail prior to the interview.)

At the end, I made the move to shake everyone's hands (something they seemed to forget in our general conversation on the way out) and the VP walked me out and told me that there were just two more interviews. She handed me her card and told me if I had any questions, to email or call and they should decide by wednesday afternoon. Was this a good interview? If so, why?

What are some signs that a job interview went well?

After my previous job interviews, I have been told "Give us a few days to decide" and "I don't think I'm quite ready to give you a job just yet". Are they encouraging or negative signs?. So far I have had a call from any of these employers.

How do you know if an interview went bad/well?

How do you know if an interview went bad/well?Sorry, but you almost never can. There are a very few times when someone will tell you something that gives it away. “Great, you’re hired. When can you start?” would be one.I’ve given somebody the other side of that. I’ve told them that it was clear that the person and the job weren’t a good match for each other. (I generally wouldn’t do that. It was a special circumstance, for reasons I’ll skip here.)There are people who thought they did really well on an interview who have said things like “I answered every question I was asked.” Their interviewer might have said “They gave poor answers to my questions, and took a really long time to do it. I didn’t get a chance to get to the meatier stuff, because we ran out of time.”There are also people who did really well and thought they did horribly. A guy that I used to work with told me after he started that he was sure he failed my interview, because he took too long and missed something that should have been obvious. But what he didn’t know what what I’m comparing that to: most people took much longer to do this, and ended up with a worse solution. The place where my co-worker missed something, most people miss it. But after I pointed it out, they quickly fixed it, while most people take much longer (and some never get it fixed).

How do you know if a phone interview went well?

3rd interviews are usually not Phone interviews. If it was a Phone interview then you can kind of tell my the tone of the interviewer and the phrases they use. For instance if they say something like "Okay, we will review this information further and contact you soon about the details"...THAT is a good sign. Anytime they say anything about talking about "details" is good. But also, you can usually pay attention to that still-small-voice in us that tells us if it went good or bad. If it was in fact a third interview and you discussed money details, then you are a top candidate along with maybe one or two other people. At that point, the company is looking at their budget to see if they want to pay the candidate what they say their worth.

Good signs that interview went well?

So I had an interview with a manager that I would be working under, I thought the interview went really well but it lasted maybe 20-25 minutes and the interviewer didnt seem interested as she was looking at her watch and not writing anything down. After the interview, she told me that she still had a few more applicants and would get back to me at the end of the week for 2nd round interviews. Well, the day after the interview, I get a phone call from the HR manager saying that I did really well and had very positive feedback, and was invited to 2nd round tomorrow (2 days after first interview) and its with 2 other managers/potential team members and the week isnt over. Is that a good sign or am I just over thinking? I know interviewers say that they have other applicants and will get back to me but there had to be something she liked to have invited me so quickly.
