Does Lemon Mint Herbal Tea Help Anxiety

Does lemon balm really help with anxiety?

There is some science behind lemon balm extract and improving anxiety, a great post I found on Instagram: Nootropic Source: Lemon Balm Extract details the potential benefits.Quote:Lemon Balm Extract is a herb that’s native to the Mediterranean region. And now found in gardens throughout Europe and North America. With a long history as a treatment for stress, anxiety, thyroid issues, indigestion, infections, viruses and inflammation. Some benefits* of Lemon Balm Include:- Lemon Balm Helps Improve Memory: Lemon balm increases the activity of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine (ACh) in your brain. When your brain sends signals, it uses acetylcholine to keep the signals moving. Studies show the compound rosmarinic acid in lemon balm encourages blood flow.- Lemon Balm Reduces Stress: One-way lemon balm does this is to promote GABA, a glutamate inhibitor in your brain. Glutamate excites brain cells to act.- Lemon Balm is Neuroprotective: Lemon Balm is a potent antioxidant that protects your brain cells from free radical damage.

Best Tea for anxiety?

What kind of green tea is good for anxiety/stress? I want something that is calming or soothing, but doesn't make me sleepy. Also i've heard some teas like Kava Kava make you mildly euphoric, which is not something i really want. Thanks guys

Can certain teas cause anxiety attacks?

I just started taking this new tea to help me sleep. I know that the ingredients are supposed to help me relax, but I keep having anxiety attacks at night a few hours after I take it and the next day. I am not sure exactly certain if the tea is causing the attacks. However, I have never had anxiety attacks until I started drinking the tea. Does anyone know if the tea's ingredients could cause anxiety? See below:

Natrual supplements for depression/mood/anxiety?

Besides st johns wort what else can I take to improve my anxiety/depression/mood, i have problems with all three, right now is particularly bad, but I will not take prescription medicine, I need something that will calm me, but not make me tired.

How does chamomile tea taste/make you feel????

I ALSO HAVE OCD AND ANXIETY disorder too. It sounds like we have all stumbled across--or perhaps
a doctor or friend recommend the benefits of Chamomile Tea.

I make a tradition of brewing this and even bought a cute one person china teapot, with lid and a an old fashioned rose painted teacup (delicate and pretty-found at the thrift store).....the ritual as well as the steaming hot tea itself seems to calm me down. No, I do not get high from this tea, nor do I feel sluggish or drunk.

If you have anxiety disorder you do not like ever being physically "taken over" by a drug or herb tea. I find the taste earthy but pleasant. All tastes are hard to explain, so the only thing I can suggest is that you try it. There are no "side effects" that I think you may be worried about. This tea relaxes you. If you have a big "Papa Bear" stuffed Easy Chair, sit in it as you have your tea and use lamps instead of the main ceiling light overhead. Bring over your Grandma Quilt and the mood is perfect for unwinding.

On a hot day, you can even make iced Chamomile tea.
