Does Luck Really Exist

Reasons why luck doesn't exist?

Luck means being at the right place at the right time and taking advantage of it. if they're there at the wrong time no matter what you do or say,, you will be unlucky until your timing is right. Charlie Sheen was lucky when he was doing and saying things at the right time, but he became unlucky when he started doing and saying things at the wong time. Timing is everything, without timing there is no luck.

Poll: Does luck exist in football?

YES! And whoever says no is crazy. Luck is definately a factor in football

Does luck really exist, or it is just a hoax?

Luck !!!In my dictionary luck is only have a meaning that is “HARDWORK”. Lucky are those who work hard and achieve there goals.Wise person believe in hard work but weak & bovine person believe in luck.Luck only exist in our believe in our mind if you believe that you are lucky then you are,if you don't then you aren't. Once an American actor Patrick Duffy told“Good luck happens to people who work hard for it. Sometimes people just fall into the honey pot, but I've consistently strived to create whatever good fortune I can get in my life - and consistently strive just as hard not to screw it up once I have it!”.Great wordStrong people have guts so they work hard and achieve fulfill there dreams, weak people don't have guts so they simply makes excuses and sayhe or she is very lucky. So, luck is only matter of hard work. What about hoax!!!I think hoax is not just as luck, but some people use it as the name of luck. Some people makes mischievous trick and played on someone for joke.People usually makes hoax related to bad luck and fool them.Various posts on Facebook claim that you will suffer bad luck for a specified number of years if you do not click like and type amen. The posts feature images of people with injuries or serious health prosteal.Along with the ‘bad luck’ threat, which is apparently taken seriously by a surprisingly large number of people, the messages imply that your ‘like’ and ‘amen’ will somehow help the pictured person. Some versions drive home the point by claiming that those who scroll down without participating must be heartless or cruel people who do not care about others.. Of course, these people care not one iota for the welfare of the people whose images they steal and make fun.And some people still believe this. This is so Ridiculous.Image source: google

What exactly is luck? Does it really exist, or is it hypothetical?

Luck is a word used to denote a favorable outcome in a fair game. If you get several favorable outcomes in a row you might be termed a LUCKY person. You can be lucky only after the outcome is measured, not before. In the long run everyone is equally lucky if we only played FAIR games.

Does luck really exist, and do we need it for everything in life?

Luck doesn’t exist. Probability does. Luck is merely the observation that a situation that has a higher probability of failure than success succeeded more times than expected — whether that’s one time or one hundred times. Luck is not really something you can have. It’s an observation made after the fact. People need to feel like they have control of circumstances that are not under their control. This is where a belief in luck comes in.For example: “I won the daily giveaway when I was wearing my red cap. This cap is my lucky cap. I am going to wear this cap so that I will win future daily giveaways.” The red cap has nothing to do with the chance of being chosen for a prize, yet one’s desire for winning a prize is great enough that they will look for any kind of difference in a situation where they lost and where they won.And do people need luck? Like a purple dragon! People often need circumstances to work out a certain highly improbable way even though those circumstances are not under their control. That’s what many of us need throughout our lives.

Does luck really exist or is it merely a concept that is derived to fill in when the accepted logic is defied?

Luck is a messy concept which refers to a very particular human view of reality. As Quora user Stuart Benson has stated in his answer[1] luck isthe outcome of a random eventSo luck is a human appreciation of probability. Probability of an event is defined as the chance that the event will occur (given a certain experiment). When a person talks about or appeals to luck, what he is trying to communicate is that he hopes that the outcome of the experiment or activity is the one he wants. However, that appeal to luck is often believed to have some supernatural power that can favour the desired event over the others, that is why you wish someone luck when the odds are not very favourable (passing an exam for which you haven't studied) or the non-desirable event is specially negative (taking a plane and have an accident), but you don't wish luck when someone goes back home even if there is a small probability that his house will blow up in a gas explosion, because that is very unlikely to happen.Footnotes[1] Stuart Benson's answer to Does luck really exist or is it merely a concept that is derived to fill in when the accepted logic is defied?

Does luck really exist or is it just a long and complex explanation to how one thing lead to another?

Luck really exists because a person who benefits by luck not only succeeds others at a crucial time but also makes others think what has gone wrong for them.A peson who has that luck can spring a surprise on others by merely stunning them.So luck, a simple word by name conveys a significant outcome of anything that can't be predicted. So,luck always exists and it can happen anytime, anywhere for anyone.
