I'm trying to coordinate shutters for a green shingled house?
Green composite is SO BLAH, but the roof is 2 years old, so I'm not even thinking about changing it. The house is white and has no shutters. I would like a pretty color like royal blue, but I'm not sure that would coordinate well with blah-green shingles. What are your opinions?

Firstly, we should have enough respect for the office of President to not sully it with moral issues. The job is tough enough. It never came out to what extent Kennedy was unfaithful to Jackie but why should it? How would it have benefitted anyone part way through Kennedy’s tenure to have some sordid National Enquirer debate over his private affairs. None. Russia, the Middle East are all aghast at publicly displaying our dirty laundry. This makes us weak. For opponents to use this as an arguement for their greater worthiness to govern, I would say that if all the morally impure were to leave politics we’d have sparse field left.Secondly, all males go through an hormonal peak that tapers off dramatically by late 50s. All men go through a shift in priorities when as Bill says “when we have more yesterdays than tomorrows, our attension shifts to the next generation”. The only reason the Clintons would want to stress out their lives is because they think the country needs their leadership. No reason for them to go through fun and games of leadership any more. They know this will stress them both to the core but they’re both willing to give it all for their country and I think for no other reason. For that they should be admired and respected.Thirdly, they seem to both demonstrate True Love for each other and are living out “for better or for worse” and you have to admire that too.

I assume that you don’t actually want an answer and that it is some sort of dog whistle point that you are making that will be understood by people who think like you.However, I will attempt to give you an answer from my perspective. I live in the UK and am fascinated by all politics, especially American.On the personal level it is quite clear that the Obamas love each other. You can tell from their body language. They are both incredibly intelligent people with wide interests and enquiring minds, so they must have great conversations about all manner of things - just as the Clintons must for similar reasons.What is more the Obamas are very attractive people, he is distinguished and handsome, while she is beautiful, elegant and sexy - quite a combination. They have both aged well and that must help them to enjoy their relationship too.As to the non personal. Barack Obama is a debonair, distinguished man who was a class act as President and continues to be a class act. The man exudes intelligence, charisma, good humour, empathy and understanding. All of that, together with his fair minded policy agenda and grasp of whatever topic he was working on, made the US respected and liked all around the world while he was President - as it was under Bill Clinton as well.The current President has none of those qualities and respect for America has pretty much evaporated in the year or so since he took office. Why should we admire a country led by a President who clearly has no grasp of anything, no empathy for anybody except billionaires, no kindness, no compassion, no decency, a closed rather than enquiring mind. It is impossible to imagine the Trumps sitting down to a conversation about history, or the environment or how to improve governance in Africa, whereas it is easy to imagine the Obamas or the Clintons doing just that.I expect it is for all of those reasons that the Obamas are still together in a loving relationship.What people who support Trump cannot seem to realise is that the leadership role America has had since 1945 is not theirs by right. It has to be earned. And it has to be based on respect both ways. If America does not earn or deserve respect then it cannot lead.
