Why does my ex-girlfriend still talk to my mom?
They see each other occasionally. My mom says that my ex always runs up and hugs her and they talk to each other and stuff. One of my friends says that they always see them talking. I don't really like them being close and I don't know why she is still talking to my mom. Why is my ex doing this? Is she up to something?

She broke up with me after a year. She has a new boyfriend. They have been close friends for a while. They have been dating a week she says she loves him. But she still cares about me. One time she told me not to cry. Because thinking about me crying makes her want to cry. I asked her why she still cares so much. She said that she shouldnt feel happy about hurting me. If I would ask if she was going to do anything today. And she was going to hang out with him she would tell me that she didnt know what she was going to do. If I asked if she wanted to spend time with him she would still say she didnt know. She said she was saying that to be nice and not hurt me. But I told her not to. She wants to stay close friends. But why should she care like that going out of her way and lie just so I dont get hurt.

Time and trust. There's no way you can "prove it to her." You already ARE! You're with HER and not the ex. If that's not enough, she might just need more time and affection before she can truly believe you. Warning: Some people never grow out of this. I had a boyfriend once (now ex) who would *constantly* throw my ex's name into conversation/arguments... for no reason! He had some suspicions about my ex and I (all of which were false... we didn't even talk anymore!) He was paranoid and had low self-esteem/jealousy issues. It might be that you're not doing anything wrong. Maybe your girlfriend just lacks self-esteem and is scared of losing you (and most people get lost to exes). Keep reminding her you love her. If this doesn't do the trick in a few more months, I suggest bailing. It's not worth your time and effort when someone can't get over their own insecurities. Good luck!
Why does my ex-girlfriend still have my pictures up?
my ex-girlfriend broke up with me 3 weeks ago and i have been devastated. the first week and a half i called her a lot and tried to fix things. she ignored me every time. she hasn't given me an explanation as to why we broke up, and i dont think she will anytime soon. i thought everything was going perfect when she broke up with me and i loved her so much. so why does she still have pictures of us kissing on myspace? the second day of our break up we talked on the phone and she told me to remove all pictures of us on my facebook. i did. i asked if she removed all of ours on her myspace and she said she did before i even asked. she knows i dont have a myspace, and knows i cant check her profile. well a friend of mine said she has my ex as a friend (they never talk they just went to same schools), and i checked her profile from my friends account. she has all of our pictures still up and it still says she is in a relationship. this isn't just some oversight of her, she left it there intentionally. she goes on myspace everyday. its been 3 weeks. why is it up there? i love her so much and i tried so hard to fix things after break up but she pushed me away. does she still want to be with me but just taking space? she isn't telling me anything. and she is ignoring me. whats going on?

I broke up with my boyfriend and after some time we are friends again. I broke up with him because he was needy and passive-aggressively controlling (he didn't force me to do things, he just made it difficult to do what I wanted).Sometimes we're fine as friends, exchanging Xmas gifts, hanging out, sending cat pics.Sometimes he does shit like say “I love you … platonically” and talks about girls he’s interested in then adds “unless you want to get back together.”I was planning to go out with friends this weekend and asked on Facebook who was going clubbing with the weather threatening to snow. A guy I had dated previously said that he was already at the club and the roads were good. My ex started going off about how unsafe the roads were and that I shouldn't go out.So, it's easy to tell he's still interested. Respectful, genuine love? I'm not so sure.
