Does My Frowny Piercing Look Okay

Frowny Piercing???????

I have tongue web, frowny, and smiley piercings.
Personally, i got my frowny to make the whole look of my other two mouth piercings complete. No you can`t see it unless I show it, but hey, my mouth right? I love all my piercings and would never ever want to take them out :]

What's up with my frowny piercing?

So Friday night I decided to pierce my frowny , I sterilized everything and I pierced I with a safety pin and put a bar in it , ever since then it's been swollen and it has like a flap of white skin looking stuff connecting the two holes and last night I took tweezers and ripped it off , but when I woke up today it came back , I have no idea what it is. I think it might be rejecting because the hole is getting a little bigger. If I take it out will I be able to let it heal up and then re-pierce it without it rejecting? Any idea what the white stuff is?

Is my frowny piercing infected?

"Gargle" with warm water mixed with sea salt. You can still use the mouthwash, but do the sea salt at least twice a day.It might be infected, but don't take it out because the infection can become trapped inside the piercing. Maybe take some Tylenol to reduce the swelling. It should get better.

What's Wrong With My Frowny Piercing?

I got it done about two weeks ago. When it was first pierced it looked crooked and odd but I figured it was because it was swollen. But a week later, I went back and got a longer hoop put in. I noticed the swelling was gone and it's not only PIERCED TO THE SIDE, BUT it also is pierced on my lip instead of under that webbing between your gums and lip.
I'm just wondering if there was a special reason why she pierced it this way, or if she just screwed up?
It bugs my cause it's on the left side more and I can constantly feel it being uneven. Plus, when I smile, the balls are on either side of one tooth instead of one ball being on each.
Also, is there anyway I can fix this?

Thanks!

Piercings? (Frowny) or (Anti-Smiley)?

Okay, so I'm going to pierce my lower frenulum or (frowny) in a couple days. I know the whole, "Go to a professional" "blah blah blah" routine. But the fact is I'm only 15 so my mom wouldn't even think to let me get it, let alone my third lobe piercing. Since I'm piercing it myself, I have a few questions.
1. How do I know if my frenulum is big enough?
2. Where exactly do I need to put the piercing?
3. Is the pain manageable?
4. What do I need to pierce it?
5. Can you give me a step by step plan on how exactly to do it?

Also, idk if this matters, but I have had my second piercing, but with the gun from Claire's. (I know horrible idea) but I was only 13. And I have a semi-high tolerance to pain if that also helps. I used to ge tshots every month for things and it didn't really bother me. So please help! Thank you!

I am thinking about a nose piercing but am not sure if it will look good on me. How do I decide on it?

There's two decent ways to do this depending on the type of nose piercing you want. Many have said that if you intend to wear a stud you can get a press-on "jewel" to stick to your nostril and see how it looks. This is a decent idea, but bear in mind that a stick-on ANYTHING is going to lie flat against the skin where a piercing can be angled THROUGH the nostril, so there are a few vantage points you're robbed of as far as aesthetic, but that's also something you can talk to a piercer about.Another option, if you intend to wear a ring in your nostril, is to go somewhere that sells such jewelry (Hot Topic is a decent enough place to go for cheap body jewelry, but, honestly, all you're looking for is what's called a "captive ring" - they're relatively common in most places that sell jewelry besides just earrings). A captive ring is a complete circle with a bead that either side pinches on to hold it "captive"--thus the name--until the jewelry is widened ever-so-slightly with a pair of needle-nose pliers or other such tool. What you can do with this is, by removing the bead and widening the space a little with a tool (don't wear it too tight or it's just going to be a miserable experience), you can slip that opening around your nostril and "wear" it like an actual nose ring. This offers you the chance to re-position and toggle the angle, height, source, etc. so that you can genuinely get a good look at how that would look actually passing through a piercing there. This is beneficial not only for you (to see if you LIKE how it looks) but also for your piercer, who will ask what sort of jewelry you want and any specifications you might have. Keep in mind, however, that there are things about your anatomy that you might not notice that the piercer will, so be ready to work with them if your nostril won't allow for things to be pierced EXACTLY how you preconceived them.Stay gnarly and safe.

Will a "frowny" piercing effect my speech and be very noticeable? ?

I just pierced mine an hour ago! (I swear lmfao)
It's not effecting my speech at all like I thought it would lol. The piercing itself is not noticable at all, unless you wear a ring (which is kind of stupid, wearing the ring for a smiley is better ). Make sure you have the right jewelry (the barbell) because at the moment im using an earring stud lmfao. Im trying to hide it until I get the jewelry. :P
Have fun :) Your piercer will tell you how to clean it and stuff :P

Edit : It does kind of hurt. Well I guess maybe cuz mine was a DIY lol.

Which piercing should i get? (pic of me) 10 points!

you have the lips for a lipring, but you could go for a nose ring...not a stud, but thats my opinion. i have a ring in my nose right now, and its a lot different from what most people have (if different is what youre looking for) and i think it would look great on you too.
you could also look into an oral piercing - smiley or frowny (theyre piercings in the little webbing between your gums and your upper&lower lips) or a lipring...if youre up to it, multiple tongue rings might look good too, but thats at your own discretion.
if you want something hidden, something that only people you want to see will see, a tongue frenulum would be good.
madonna/monroe piercings would be REALLY cute on your face too. ive seen them on both guys and girls, but you have just the right face for it.

my choices for what i think would look good on you:
madonna/monroe, off-center lipring, nose ring, tongue frenulum. in that order :)

How do I hide a piercing from my parents?

You cannot. I pierced my nose when I was 15 and took the jewelry out every day after school and re-pierced it every evening before going to bed. That "worked" for about two weeks ... and then my nose got infected and I had to let the hole close up. It was painful and disgusting.  You can't really hide piercings without putting them at risk for infection. Infections can lead to cauliflower ears, scarring and worse. Instead of deceiving your parents and doing something that will most likely cause conflict between you, why you don't suggest striking a deal with them? Like, if you take on an extra chore for 3 months you can have 1 additional ear piercing? My parents did not allow me to have facial piercings while I lived in their home. I think that's completely fair. I waited until I moved out to have four nostril piercings, three lip piercings, a septum and three tongue piercings done.
