Antty

Pro biek riders do not have big chunky legs. On the contrary they are thin. Muscle is 'skinny'. Fat is 'big' or thick. To get Big and Muscles you have to do lots of gym routines using weights doing leg presses and squats.

Cycling will tone your legs, and will help you to lose weight over ALL of your body at the same time... at almost the same rate.

You will lose weight. Serious road biking burns about 600 or more calories per hour.
I don't know how hard you are pushing yourself and if you really bike hard for 7 hours but if you do you will lose those 20 lbs.

Does biking slim thighs??

Lots of interesting information from other respondents including some theories that are, perhaps a bit dubious.

Here is the question: do you have thick thighs because they are heavily muscled or because you are carrying excess body weight? If you are heavily muscled, change your attitude and be proud! If you are carrying around excess body weight, cycling will help you shed pounds.

Here is the real skinny: the key to losing weight is burning more calories than you take in. A pound of fat contains roughly 3500 calories. If you consistently burn 200 more calories than you take in, you will lose about 1 pound of body fat every two weeks. This is a very sustainable pace of weight loss that won't leave you feeling perpetually weak and starved.

Now, this weight isn't going to all come off your thighs. Weight loss occurs all over the body simultaneously. If you keep at it long enough, though, your thighs along with all other parts of you will slim down.

Cycling is an endurance sport characterized by high levels of repetitions with low resistance. It will tend to tone your leg muscles. To build bulky muscles requires low repetions with high resistance (like sprinting.) Furthermore, significant bulk formation requires high levels of testosterone. (A healthy woman's testosterone level is too low for significant bulk formation.) Thus, you should not expect to build a lot of bulk as a result of cycling.

Keep at it!

Hope this helps.

An recreation motorcycle will aid you burn vigour. If your vigour output (via the recreation motorcycle, and the whole thing else you do) exceeds your vigour enter (food and drinks, and so on.) then you are going to drop some pounds. You nevertheless do NOT get to decide upon in which the load might be misplaced out of your frame! This is a delusion that will get perpetrated through businesses promoting recreation apparatus and through persons who consider this delusion. This is found through genetics. Take fats, chubby persons for illustration. Have you spotted that a few of them will retailer their fats extra on their legs? Some of them will retailer fats of their chest or their fingers however then their legs will seem extra common? Well that is genetics. GOOD LUCK!!

Working out will mostly increase the butt and thighs - due to building muscle and not making a dent in the fat. Butt and thighs are the easiest to lose. I lost mine by accident. I lost 70+lb - in fact I lost 90+ and gained back 20.Anyway Butt and thighs are due to estrogen. Lower that and the weight just falls off there. Now you wont lose any weight regardless of estrogen if your insulin is high. That has to be lowered first. So you could eat a keto diet avoiding all the high estrogen foods like soy and whey and a bunch of other unknown foods that may contribute to estrogen secretion … or you could do what I did by accident. I did a keto diet, and when I stalled for 4+ months, cluelessly I started Intermittent fasting, and when that was working well, I started longer and longer fasts. What happened was the insulin was low, and estrogen was low and my butt and thighs disappeared. OK why was that a problem ??? I had a belly. So now with a set of chicken legs I still have ~25% of my 238lb body’s belly and the legs of a 140lb guy. Some time while I did all that fasting I should have worked on lowering cortisol. Well, there is no time like the present right ? except a christmas present. LOL.70 Views · View Upvoters
