Does Sergio Ramos Having A World Cup Medal

Was Carles Puyol better than Sergio Ramos and Gerard Pique?

Carles Puyol is credited more for his leadership qualities at Barca. I would say, he was a better leader than either Ramos or Pique, who are often into one controversy or the other.Unlike modern day defenders who are more adventurous in the match and make short passes, even when the ball is in their box, Puyol’s objective has always been to clear the ball from the box.Technique wise, he was very traditional in his approach; mostly staying at the back. He rarely participated in counter attacks but was equally good in making tackles and clearances. In fact, he himself stated in an interview that he always knew he wasn’t that good. That’s why he used to give his hundred percent in every match, to make up for his weaknesses. To sum up, I would say, he is one of the best defenders to have played for Spain. Ramos comes a close second. If he had not been so reckless and red carded this often, I would have said he was as good as Puyol. His goal scoring exploits give him an edge.I would also say Puyol is a much better human being than either Ramos or Pique. At-least that’s what I could gather from watching the three of them in action. He is very friendly, very direct and never into any controversy. He once very famously defended a player who had slapped him on the ground. There’s another story that’s very famous about Puyol. He was injured in a training session and had to undergo some tests in Lisbon. After the results came out, the doctor revealed to him that he had dislocated his elbow. Puyol replied, “You mean, I won’t be able to play on Sunday?” Football first. That’s Puyol.

How didFernando Torres and Sergio Ramos win the World Cup?

Not only Fernando Torres and Sergio Ramos won the world cup 2010 I would say but the whole team did; Casillas, who won the golden glove award, was a god for Spain. In fact, Fernando Torres didn’t score any goal in the whole tournament.Group H: Spain vs Switzerland 0 - 1Group H: Spain vs Honduras 2 - 0Group H: Spain vs Chile 2 - 1 (Chile came back with a revenge 4 years later)Round of 16: Spain vs Portugal 1 - 0 David VillaQuarterfinals: Spain vs Paraguay 1 - 0 David VillaSemifinals: Spain vs Germany 1 - 0 header by PuyolFinal: Spain vs Netherlands 1 - 0 a.e.t. 116′ goal by IniestaAll the goals scored in knockout phase are by other players than Fernando Torres. Sergio Ramos was the main man that only conceded two in the whole tournament.*This is all my personal opinion so apologies if it offends anyone

What has Lionel Messi done that Cristiano Ronaldo hasn't?

I am more than happy to list it down.Only 19 year old to score a hatrick against Real Madrid .Only player to win consecutive Balloon D Ors .Only player to be part of a team that won 6 consecutive trophies in 2 seasons .Only player to win a junior world cup, Olympic Gold and FIFA Golden ball internationally.Only player who makes free kicks look too easy .Only player to give a penalty assist.Only player to give a bicycle assist .One of few players who shows true loyalty to the club.Only player to win more La Liga best forward awards (Ronaldo won it only once after he arrived to La Liga).Only player who is an expert in mastering the pitch speed and dribbling.Only player to make Sergio Ramos fall on just seeing him.Only player to dribble past an entire squad.Only player holding the highest tally of goals scored in a calendar year.Only player with most number of assists for club and country.Only player who is a jack of all trades for the club: Goalscoring, Assisting, Free kicks, Penalties etc. Now, tell me if Ronaldo has achieved even 1 of the 15 things I have mentioned. As we know, he hasn't, so shut up.

Is Sergio Ramos the dirtiest player among the top European Football teams?

There is simply no better defender than Sergio Ramos on a night when Real Madrid have a big game and need to deliver. The Spaniard is always up there putting out his best performance to ensure that his team don’t lose.Champions League Final against LiverpoolNow I know what you must be thinking but… for some, football is a game of the mind. The one who has the strongest mind wins. The fact that Sergio Ramos is receiving so much hate from Liverpool fans and yet he poses himself as indifferently as ever shows how much strength and character he possesses. This mentality not only makes him a hard defender to get the better off, it also allows him to overcome the mental blocks and think like a winner. It is of little wonder that Sergio Ramos is the most successful captain of Real Madrid since the turn of the millennium. The Salah incident was not Ramos' mistake completely. Salah was the first to hold his hand. He does not deserve as much hate as he is getting. Although, let's save that topic for sometime later. So many players have appreciated Ramos for what he really is….PS- I've only included some.“He's the best defender in the world. Only Thiago Silva can rival him.” -Paolo Malini on Sergio RamosHe has won World Cup 2010He has been in FIFA WORLD PRO XI nine times. NINE TIMES!!Although he commits fouls but it is a part of the game for defenders. His risky tackles. Especially sliding tackles have no competition.Ramos on fouling. He is UNDOUBTEDLY one of the best captains Real Madrid could ever have.Sergio Ramos has won 20 titles with Real Madrid in total: 4 European Cups, 4 Club World Cups, 3 UEFA Super Cups, 4 LaLigas, 3 Spanish Super Cups and 2 Copas del Rey. He was in the FIFA FIFPro World XI nine times, 2 times he was voted Best Defender in the Champions League, and he was once voted best player in the Champions League final and UEFA Super Cup final. He won the Club World Cup Golden Ball. He won the World Cup 2010 and Euro 2008 and 2012.He has been defending the White's Crest for 13 years. He has completed 600 appearances and 100 goals for the club.Honestly. There is so much more which makes him the best. Words are not enough to say. It's so wrong to call anyone a bad or dirty player. I strongly believe that football is all about respect and each player is special in his own way.I don't think there is more convincing requiredOh yes yes yes. One more thing left. HE DOES THE DAMN PANENKA.So…. He is not the Dirtiest but the BEST!!!Thanks for scrolling guys. ;)

If all the continents were to select their strongest 11 players for the Continental Football League, how would they line up?

Europe : Europe produces footballers of highest quality. I had to make a few tough decisions in naming the final 11. Every position had atleast 4 world class players to pick from.GK- Thibaut Courtois - Picked him over De Gea, Oblak, Pickford etc. His World Cup performances were scintillating.LB - David Alaba - He's the most talented left back in Europe by far. He was one of Bayern Munich’s best players this season.CB - Sergio Ramos - You call him when you need a 90th minute goal. He's won games for Real Madrid and Spain over and over again. The Captain’s distribution from behind and tackles make him indispensable to any team. Ramos is a physically strong player who excels in air and is a great threat at set-pieces. An all in one package.CB - Raphael Varane - Varane looked solid throughout the World Cup. He showed great strength in the air, speed, positional sense and grace on the ball this WC. His season with Real Madrid was exceptional too. He deserves a place in this squad.RB - Thomas Meunier - It was tough to pick him over Carvajal and Vrsaljko after the kind of seasons they had with Real and Atletico respectively. This goal scoring wing-back was one of the main reasons why Belgium had a great world cup. He was great going forward and equally good at the back.CDM - N’Golo Kante - What can I say about this machine.CM - Luka Modric - Best midfielder in the world.CM - Kevin de Bruyne - Terrific season with ManCity and a great WC after let him cement his spot on this squad.LW - Cristiano Ronaldo - GOATRW - Kylian Mbappe - We wouldn't be surprised to see him win the Ballon d’or in 2–3 years.ST - Harry Kane - The Golden Boot winner is the best in business right now.Asia : Had a tough time putting 11 players together. Most of them are from Japan's WC squad.Mathew RyanYuri NagatomoMaya YoshidaTrent SainsburyHiroki SakaiKeisuke HondaAaron MooyMile JedinakShinji KagawaH. M.
