Does South African Board Trying To Mock Bcci With This

What do you think of Pakistan Cricket Board's decision to file a complain against BCCI for allowing players to wear military cap in a match against Australia and politicising sport like cricket?

This is very inhuman act by pakistan.. I know their is tension going on between the countries..But that doesn't mean that you lose humanity.. What's wrong in paying respect to the brave soldiers who lost their life in such a cowardly act.. And that too when cricket is a gentlemens game..and how paying respect to someone can be linked to politics..!!Pakistan has no right to say anything..and all his demands of action against Indian team is rubbish..and nothing is going to happenIt's important for the national team to pay their respects to their armed forces.. !!I don't know why they use such cheap methods to mock India.India is a sovereign country and nobody can tell us what to do and what not tooo.. India can take its own decisions.. and we all know that Ms dhoni respects army men a lot Indian army and has a special place in his heart so Virat and ms Dhoni decided to wear military caps as a sign pf respect to all those soldiers who lost their lives in the attack..so this is their style of paying tribute to the brave hearts.. And alsoo they donated their match fee to the family of the martyrs..!!Again a shameful act by pakistan..!! :-!Long live our soldiers..!!Jai Hind..!! :-)

What are the intresting stories of cricket?

I think the best story is of "The Ashes" series which is played annually between England & Australia. Here is the story-Australia's first victory on English soil over the full strength of England, on August 29, 1882, inspired a young London journalist, Reginald Shirley Brooks, to write this mock "obituary''. It appeared in the Sporting Times. Before England's defeat at The Oval, by seven runs, arrangements had already been made for the Hon. Ivo Bligh, afterwards Lord Darnley, to lead a team to Australia. Three weeks later they set out, now with the popular objective of recovering the Ashes. In the event, Australia won the first Test by nine wickets, but with England winning the next two it became generally accepted that they brought back the Ashes. It was long believed that the real Ashes - a small urn thought to contain the ashes of a bail used in the third match - were presented to Bligh by a group of Melbourne women. In 1998, Lord Darnley's 82-year-old daughter-in-law said they were the remains of her mother-in-law's veil, not a bail. Other evidence suggests a ball. The certain origin of the Ashes, therefore, is the subject of some dispute.Text Source- A short history of the Ashes The mock obituary- The Ashes urn- Image Source- Google

What are mistakes done by Sachin Tendulkar?

I remember one incident that happened in 2003.Sachin Tendulkar was associated with Fiat Car Company as its brand ambassador, after sachin scored his 29th century in test cricket, equalling Sir Donald Bradman's record of centuries, Fiat decided to gift sachin with a Ferrari 360 modena car. This car was presented to him by Fiat, (the Italian automobile group which also produces Ferrari)Ferrari's then Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher presented the car on behalf of the company to Tendulkar when the two met at Silverstone, England.Sachin Tendulkar had requested the finance ministry to exempt him from the import duty, which was 1.13 crore. Finance ministry obliged and waived him from import duty. But, Delhi High court stepped in to question the waiver by the ministry, saying nobody can be above LAW. Then,Fiat volunteered to pay the import duty on Sachin Tendulkar's controversial new Ferrari.I think he should have paid the import duty as a law abiding citizen, may be this was one controversy which he could have easily avoided by paying the duty and following the laws of the country.

Is demanding reservations in cricket useful?

Q : Is demanding reservations in cricket useful?A : Reservation in education means even if a person from reserved category has secured say 40% marks he will get admission respectfully and the person from unprivileged category who has secured 90% has to remain deprived of it ruefully. If you accept this logic to reservation in cricket, the board will have to enact rules; In case the batsman is from reserved category,Length of the wicket will be reduced to 10 yards instead of 20 yards,The distance from the wicket and boundary line will be half of the normal,The bowler will be bowl under arm bowling only,He will be accredited 8 runs for a boundary hit,He will be accredited 12 runs for a six hit,He will have two free lives and will be consider out in the third occasion,Provision for LBW and hit-wicket will not be applicable,Scoring 50 will be considered century and 100 will be double century,Each run he scores must receive standing ovation,Match fees paid to him will be double the normal fees.In case the bowler is from reserved category,All the right hand batsman will compulsorily play with left hand vice-versa,The batsman will play with one hand and another locked behind the back,Provision of ‘no ball’ and ‘wide ball’ will not be applicable,An over will have only 3 deliveries and by default remaining 3 will be dot balls,In case he bowls 3 dot balls, it will be considered as maiden over,3 stumps will be replaced for 5, one being added beside the normal stumps,The batsman must be given out when he makes an appeal,Every delivery he bowls, must receive standing ovation in the stadium,In case a batsman hits a 4 or 6, he will be required to go and get the ball back,The bats man will be considered out even if the ball touches the ground one time.On these lines reservation may be allowed in cricket.

How should one handle a UPSC interview? How fair/unfair is the interview procedure? Is there an ideological bias in selection of candidates? If yes, how do I manipulate my answers?

Imagine you are in love with a girl called government. You want to marry her but well, her father is a senior (and quite experienced) civil servant. You want to ask for her hand. How will you behave in a family dinner? You must not appear to be ignorant of the flaws of the government but you must tell them you love her with all her flaws and in fact marrying you will make her better. After all its parents, so please do not come out as an overconfident idiot.Like all parents, members have some quirks. Do not try to scratch there too much. But after marriage, you do not want to be bullied around by your in laws, so do not relent easily. Smile humbly and agree to disagree. All family members are important but two are extremely important. The chairman(father) and the lady member(the mother). Impress them and jointly they will overrule what other members think of you. There will be some uncle who would be given task to roughen you up a little because their daughter has her mood swings. Keep calm. They want to check whether you can handle her at her worse.Do not bluff. Nobody likes a liar. Remember they know way more about their daughter i.e the government than you do. You have met her on dates, they have seen her grow in front of their eyes.Respectful sense of humour and wit, always appreciated. Do not be monotonous and boring.Do not sound desperate. Smile but not like an ignorant immature and finally appear in control of the situationUltimately, its not any single answer which matters but overall environment and experience of the interview. Since the family has called you for dinner, they know you are good enough as far as material aspects are concerned, now they want to look beyond it into your attitude.P.S.:Just a brief background here. I got 157 in my first attempt in interview. I had scored very well in mains but lost out in interview, got IPS. Second time I got 176 and in this attempt I got 193. So it seems I have some locus standii on this topic.Lady aspirants should replace the gender terms with male ones and it would hold true for them.Sometimes even after your best effort, you might not be able to impress the girl’s parents. Its divine thing. Come back again and do not leave the love of your life.
