Does T-mobile Still Offer Significantly Discounted New Phones Upgrades With Their Revised

How can I increase internet speed in my Android mobile?

There are various ways to increase your internet speed in android. I will explain some:Change your apn, there are 2 or 3 apn's provided by the isp, choose the best one. You can find the apn in the mobile networks in your phone settings.Select a single network type, this option is also available in mobile networks, choose either LTE or WCDMA(4g or 3g). If your facing problem in doing this try, open your phone dailer type *#*#4636#*#*. Then a menu will open, select phone settings (name may differ according to phones), scroll down you will find a list, select LTE only or WCDMA only. And now the best trick, but this trick will only be applicable to the rooted phones. Download network signal guru app from the play store, this app will help you to select a single frequency, which has the most stability and high speed(4g uses different frequencies, the b3, b5 ,b40 is good for jio users, 3g doesn't use much frequencies).open the app, then open settings, select band locking and select the frequency which have the highest speed, you can test each frequency too. That's all if any problem occur then you can ask.

Why can't you upgrade Android to the latest version?

Now a days most of the mobile phone manufacturers like Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, LeEco, HTC all are had their own unique modified version of Android User Interface. They called it different names like Touch Wiz, MIUI, Cyanogen, HTC sense and many weird names. They are like different operating system based on Android .Stock Android is official operating system released exclusively for Nexus devices Unless you are using Nexus you won't get update directly from Google, the reason is your manufacturer is the only person who's responsible for the hardware inside of your phone . So, They need to modify the operating system as per their requirements. So they twig the Android and add some awesome features and even some Back doors(what!?!) to your phone for Remote code Execution and no doubt that will be Unique.Motorola used stock Android in their devices till now. So their devices will get Android N (7.0) even it contains lot of bugs. So, the reason is your Manufacturer is sole responsible for your modified Android ,Not Google..Thanks for Reading and to A2A.

I have an iPhone X, why should I upgrade to the iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max? What improvements or changes have been made?

What’s improved?Better screen / display, though the difference is probably not totally noticeable. Then again, if you prefer the ads Max, then you not only get a slightly better screen, but a MUCH bigger one. This alone could be justification for the upgrade, even if you’ve got an iPhone X like I do.New A12 Bionic processor chip. They hammered on this, and it sounds like it’s pretty integral to many of the new and improved innovations that we’ll see coming to the phone. This isn’t just speed, though it will be faster, but graphics, AR capability, and even some machine learning. In short, performance.Improved cameras. If you’re into photography, the new portrait mode capabilities (made possible by the new A12 Bionic chip mentioned above) are likely a huge reason to upgrade. The front camera got a nice upgrade, too.Improved Face ID. It’s faster and more accurate…that’s it. If your iPhone X is fast enough, then this won’t matter as much. Mine has slowed, so I’m looking forward to the upgrade.Color options. Shiny Gold! Truth is, most people put a case on the phone, so you won’t even notice the colors now that the whole black or white bezel is gone. With a case, all 3 colors will look about the same…unless it’s a clear case, that is.Storage. You can get up to 512Gb now, so if you need it, you got it.Cost. Depending on your carrier, you can trade in any phone that you’re paying for on a plan after 1 year of payments and have a clear slate. So unless you pay for your phone up front or plan on keeping it for more than 2 years, why wouldn’t you trade it up? Your payments won’t change (unless you get the Max or more storage), so it’s kinda a no-brainer. This is how it is with Verizon, anyway…not completely sure if the other carriers do the same thing.Apple Music. Not that this is a big reason, but some carriers are giving away 6 mos worth of free Apple Music subscription with a new iPhone purchase. I guess it’s more of an added bonus than a deciding factor, but if you aren’t a subscriber now, you’ll love it.I’ve upgraded every year since the iPhone 4, and my iPhone Xs is being delivered on Friday, 9/21, so I’ll see if it lives up to the hype. Honestly, though, if it ended up costing more, this is the first year that I could have justified not upgrading from the X…it’s really that good, even after a year. As it stands, though, my wife is looking forward to taking my X to upgrade from her 7 Plus, so it works out nicely.

Apple seems to make a new iPhone every year, but, to be honest, there doesn’t seem to be any significant advancements. Has cell phone technology hit a plateau?

Samsung makes a new phone every year… actually they make three or four new phones every year. Maybe they’ve once or twice skipped a year but it’s not common and that goes for Every smart phone manufacturer. They all make new phones every year… especially if it’s their flag ship model. You are correct in the fact that smart phones in general from every company have more or less hit a plateau… The screen can’t really go any farther unless you start doing wraparounds or folding phones which as you probably noticed they are starting to do. The cameras are peaking in their quality and the software gets better regardless of hardware release. It’s hard to redesign a phone that looks like an extended very very slim bar of soap which literally is the template every company follows so you’d figure with all of those people in every single company that makes this sort of thing someone would be bound to come up with a cool change. Some people think that’s a folding phone, personally I think that’s a dumb idea and even if Apple comes out with a dope one I’m not going to be interested but to each their own. This past year was a “S“ year… Apple started the trend of “S”series phones that quite literally are specifically made only as incremental updates. Most of the process has been on the most recent release of the iPhone which was blatantly advertised as an “S” year. It always makes me laugh when reviews say “they didn’t change much” when looking at an iPhone S… that is exactly what it was made to be, and means it’s a few things… It means it’s a revision of the big change they did last year so it’s “perfected“ and it also means there’s a big provision coming up the following year. .Expect to see a lot of differences in the new iPhone coming in September. Look for that in most manufacturers at the end of the year.At least as much as they can, until something really really changes not much else is going to is going to

Why don't the iPhones support external SD cards?

There are many reasons for this.If Apple includes support of external SD cards, this will greatly affect their business model negatively in the sense that all users will buy the cheapest iPhone and slap on a huge SD card. Apple charges $649 pretax for the base 16GB model iPhone costs 649$ pretax, and $749 for the 64GB model. However it costs apple a mere 15$ to upgrade the storage from 16GB to 64GB, so that 85$ is pure profit. If they were to support external SD cards, one could buy the 16GB model and buy a 64GB SD card for about $30 (depends on the manufacturer and the speed rating). That's from the business perspective, from an engineering perspective, supporting SD cards would require software engineers to make a call on whether or not to deal with the expandable storage as an extension of internal storage, or as explicitly external storage. There are implications on both choices but it seems Apple deemed fit not to worry about this problem altogether.

Did Apple lose $60+ billion of it's value due to slowing Chinese economy or trade war or other known/expected factor? What is your reasoning and facts behind it?

Tim Cook blaming Apple slow down on Trade War is like blaming the sun for setting. Nice try Mr. Cook.( Update 1/12/19: GM reporting strong sales in China:GM says 2018 earnings exceeded expectations and 2019 looks even better)Apples phones are made in China in any case, so I do not see how a Trade war or Chinese import tariffs (which have not taken effect yet) would affect a product produced in China.Apples new Iphones are incredibly expensive and there is nothing of significance in the new products for the mass consumer to upgrade. (Value proposition only for the upscale Apple enthusiasts). An acquaintance of mine is still using her 7 year old IMac to manage her $15 mil. portfolio. Last year she upgraded to Iphone 8 (do not remember the old phone model). In China, Apple is losing to local Chinese products, based on Android, that are more compelling value proposition to Chinese consumer at significantly lower price. In US, Apple new Iphones are not selling well and Apple stores in metropolitan areas have sufficient stock of unsold devices. (Go online and order store pickup and be surprised (at least I was) how many Apple stores have new Iphones ready for pickup today). This past Christmas, Costco (consumer warehouse) had a significant promotion on trying to push discounted Apple products (I do not recall such a significant promotion in prior years).Smart phones are a commodity and mature market. There is nothing Apple offers (for mass market price sensitive consumer) that Android does not. Many decent android phones from Motorola and Samsung starting at US$ 120.But then those consumers that purchased IPhone 6 / 7 / 8 through carrier financing offerings are just coming off making payments with hopes of being able to continue using their old phones and not have anymore payments.Apples only hope is to significantly slash prices.Another headwind that Apple faces is that of encryption. Android provides sovereign govts the decryption key, while Apple cannot provide decryption key because of the type of encryption they have utilized. I was following stock analysts in India where govt. of india requires carriers and handset mfgrs to provide decryption capability to govt on demand to be able to be licensed to sell their products in India. How this impacts per country sales is TBD .
