Does the 30 day squat challenge work on a flat butt?

Ok so my butt is extremely flat. I have no butt what's so ever. I'm really insecure about it and I would like to wear leggings and yoga pants and bikini bottoms and all that but I have no butt so I can't Pull it off. I'm really hopeing that this challenge works!! And gives me a nice butt. Btw I'm 14 , 5'2 and weigh 95. I know I'm small and a really big butt would look kinda odd but a nice decant size that the guys would look at is what I'm going for. So has anyone with a flat butt done this challenge? Does it work? Can you tell the difference of now and before? I'd appreciate if girls with flat butts answered because I'm pretty sure a girl who already has a butt and did this would get different results then I would but everyone's answers are welcomed! I'm fifteen and I've lost over 45 lbs. and gained tons of muscle in the matter of a year. Let me tell you something I've learned, the most common misconception is that you can target fat loss in a certain area of the body. This is false. You cannot do this and in order for you to get rid of that stubborn belly fat you have that you're not happy with, you need to go on a diet and lose it just as if you were losing regular body fat. Remember weight loss & fat loss are two different things.

Weight loss = muscle, water, & fat
Fat loss = fat

If you do do this challenge though, you will gain muscle and muscle has a higher metabolic need for calories than fat so you will burn off the fat more easily once you gain muscle. Not only that but your butt will be looking better too. ;) On the plus side, it will tone your quads, hamstrings, glutes, and calves with ease. If you put weight on your back when you squat it'll be even better. Get a gym membership or something, start weight lifting if you want that fat to go away. Don't worry you will NOT become bulky like a man if you weight lift, it is extremely hard for women to since they don't have nearly enough testosterone as a male would. Good luck. <3

Your thighs should be parallel to the floor. It's easy if you arch your back slightly and put your weight in your heels.- Return to a standing position.Try it now and tell me if it works for you. For me I can see that it will work to me even if I haven't tried it because I already have a good shape. What should be sore when doing squats?

Hi I'm starting the 30 day squat challenge and two days ago was my first day. My thighs are kind of sore I feel it when I walk or when I squat to do something. I thought my butt would hurt as well, am I doing them wrong? Also I do know that doing them everyday is bad for you so I did skip yesterday. I would just like to know what I need to know so I don't do the whole 30 days and be jacked up lol

Squats don't make my butt sore, only thighs? How to make my butt bigger?

Just looking at the routine, I don't see how it is going to make you anything but sore anyway. You would get the same effect on your lower body if you just jogged, except the squats at least provide you with some lower body flexibility (especially the hips).

Your butt will only grow if you provide it with a load that stimulates the muscles. Your lower body holds up your weight all day - standing, sitting, walking, up and down stairs, etc. Just doing squats isn't going to provide a load that is significantly heavier for the lower body muscles, so they are unlikely to grow doing this, you need more weight to stimulate growth - this means you need some sort of weight lifting.

To get more activation of your butt, look up "low bar squats" and examine the form for those. You can find videos with instructions on proper form for any exercise on Youtube. Low bar squats are done with a wider stance (requires more hip flexibility), go down deeper, and at the top you tighten your butt muscles to finish the movement. Regular high bar squats tend to focus more on the quads (thighs).

You will also have to be patient. Even if you start lifting weights regularly, your progress will be slow - females just don't add size the same as males, guys have much more testosterone.

My butt hurts from squatting?

I started yesterday to tone up my butt. I just did a 100 squats and rested 1 minute each 20-30 squats. Also a lot of other butt and leg exercises. And now, Today I woke up, and my butt is reallyyy sore. and my legs hurt. Is that normal?
