Does The Child Support Office Csa Receive Funding Based On Payments Collected

Should men ordered to pay retroactive support for a child they didn't know existed be classified as deadbeats?

How about the parasitic woman has to account for how the "child support" is spent?

How the fvck can someone be a "deadbeat" over an obligation they didn't even know existed? 23yrs? At 23 the "child" needs to get a fvcking job if mommy is so concerned with requiping the costs she supposedly incurred raising her own child that she wanted all to herself so bad that it took her over two decades to "name the father"

Do women pay child support to single fathers?

We all know that men (are supposed to) pay child support to the mother of their children. But let's say if the father has custody of the children, does the mother pay child support too? how does this work?

What happens when someone refuses to pay child support?

If the person who is due the child support does nothing, then possibly nothing will happen for a while, but it depends on the jurisdiction.I practice family law in two counties. If someone doesn’t pay his child support in one of the counties, the court trustee will go after that person and garnish his or her pay pretty aggressively after even one missed payment after a judge orders the child support. In the other county, the person owed the child support has to be more proactive, but after enough arrearages build up and the person owed the child support complains, the court trustee in that county will also go after garnishment of the payor’s paycheck or bank accounts. The person who owes the child support may be ordered back into court on a contempt charge as well.If because child support wasn’t paid, the custodial parent is forced to seek government assistance, then the government will go after the non-custodial parent for back child support to reimburse the government for the costs of supporting that child. You can temporarily avoid paying child support if you work for cash under the table or try something like that, but child support never goes away. It keeps accumulating as a judgment debt against the person who owes it every month, and it will eventually come out of social security payments and tax refunds if that’s what it takes, even if the child has long reached adulthood.I recommend paying your child support on time.

Do women abuse child support?

Yes. I was one of the children in such a situation. It isn’t “politically correct” to tell the truth about this. But that is also the case with numerous other issues.Anyway,My deadbeat mother decided that she was entitled to use her children as a permanent meal-ticket.She exercised her legitimate right to leave my father. “Leave” meaning about a thousand kilometres, for years. Then, she used the threat of court action to extort my father for most of his income. He had a lower standard of living than she did. Despite the fact that he worked, and she didn’t.Daddy had to get up and work all day, every day, at a demanding job.Mommy sat on the couch all day, every day, watching television. She bled him dry, every month. The “children” (teenagers) were past the age of legal and practical ability to be left alone. These weren’t some kind of toddlers in need of supervision.Mommy developed the delusion that she could force her “children” to continue living with her, after the age of 18.Mommy believed that she could force her “children” to remain financially dependent. She believed that none of us would ever get jobs or our own apartments.Mommy believed that her “children” would remain “children” and that Daddy would just keep paying and paying and paying. So that she could continue using her “children” as a meal-ticket, and avoid employment.Mommy believed that the child support free ride would just continue for the rest of her life.Mommy anticipated that, when her “children” were 30 or 40 years old, we would still live with her, totally dependant, and she would continue extorting child support from Daddy.Mommy also engaged in Malingering By Proxy, and hoped to collect disability welfare for her three little retards (me and my siblings). Her 18th birthday present to my sister was a welfare application.I was designated as “The Bad Kid” for daring to get a job, and my own apartment. Because it meant that Deadbeat Mommy couldn’t demand “child” support payments, or welfare payments, based on me.Then, one day, the youngest “child” turned 18 years old.Mommy got a little surprise.Daddy slammed the brakes on the gravy train, and brought the free ride to a screeching halt.Deadbeat Parasite Mommy got introduced to reality.ETA: People keep posting comments asking what happened next. What happened was that, she had to finally get a job, and face the world as an adult. She was apparently a toxic workplace bully.

How can my boyfriend avoid paying child support?

Yea he can sigh his rights away.

What are some ways to get out of child support?

This answer is coming from a single parent, a Mom who never received one dime of child support, because my ex told his lawyer; “How do I know my money is being spent on my child and not on her?”I was a single Mother, working and raising my daughter alone. My boyfriend, walked out on us 9 months after she was born. He never wanted kids and still acted like a teenage boy, who wanted to screw anything in a skirt.I took him to court and he was forced to pay $300/month. He immediately quit his job and moved away. I found out later, that he had a new girlfriend and worked at a night-club for cash only.Again, I went after him for non-payment and my lawyer contacted his employer and he was fired. So he simply got another part-time job painting houses, where he insisted on being paid in cash. After awhile, I simply gave up and he was free to live his life.I realize that most people try to defend their point of; “why should I have to pay child support?” Also, there are several postings which I agree with, however the sad truth is that MOST dead-beat parents are men, and these men feel they shouldn’t have to pay. But, it takes two-to-tango - so stop blaming the wives and girlfriends for getting pregnant. Raising a child alone costs a lot of money!Rent $$$Utilities $$$Food $$$Reliable Car & gas for that vehicle & Insurance $$$Entertainment $$$School supplies $$$Clothing $$$I was able to find a good-paying job, a low-rent complex, where I rented a very nice townhouse, I bought a reliable used car and I had the support of my family. I am (most definitely) not a bad parent, I worked and raised my child, and I stayed home on Saturday nights, while my friends were out having fun and I was and still am a good Mother. My dead-beat boyfriend never paid me a dime of child support. I also found out that he has (6) children with (6) different women. Note ( he told me he never liked wearing a condom?) So, I guess I feel bad for those other women who thought they could change him, and I know that he’s not paid them either.Sorry men, but if you chose you have sex, then you need to PAY !

If one owes back child support can they travel within the state they live in?

Hi, Those who owe back support are not be able to leave the country legally if they owe more than $5000 in back child support. If you owe $4999, you get your passport back. If payments are skipped or stop entirely, especially if the noncustodial parent is self-employed, moves or changes jobs frequently, or works for cash or commissions, the CSE office will try to enforce the support order through other means. Subject to due process safeguards, states have laws which allow them to use enforcement techniques such as: state and Federal income tax offset, liens on real or personal property owned by the debtor, freezing of bank accounts, orders to withhold and deliver property to satisfy the debt, passport denial, or seizure and sale of property with the proceeds from the sale applied to the support debt. These methods can be used by the CSE office without directly involving the courts.

The above means of collecting support and the restrictions placed on a person owing back support are the only means/stipulations that any state or the federal government have, so far, used. A person can travel anywhere in the U.S. without repercussions. However, as stated above, they cannot obtain a passport if they owe over $5,000.00. A person owing child support can travel, and even move, anywhere in the U.S. JOSA
