Does The Gop Quote The Cbo On The Minimum Wage

How do people who voted for Trump feel about his ACA and health care policies of 2018 (2 years later)?

Trump’s American Healthcare Act was excellent policy and was not enacted due to pure partisanship and cheap but effective scare tactics. It is worth noting that I am not a pure partisan and think the same of Obama’s immigration policy.AHCA would have led to massive innovation in health care policy at the state level because much of the funding would have been block granted to states. We would have been able to see what is effective, what is not and could have made iterative improvements instead of sweeping experiments at a trillion dollars or more each. Allowing policies to be sold across state lines (deregulation) would have increased competition and lowered costs. Allowing young and healthy people to buy cheaper policies for catastrophic coverage would have led to fewer uninsured young people. Medicaid would be limited for those who are not disabled and work requirements would exist, which would result in less fraud and fewer people taking advantage of the system. Major missed opportunity to bring accountability and efficiency to government.

Can we the United States, afford a world war right now?

We have not ever been able to afford a world war and our grand adventure in Iraq and Afghanistan has cost us 2.4 trillion dollars according to the Congressional Budget Office and if you factor in foreign aid to these countries, veterans health care and compensation etc. you can easily double that. What could we have done with 5 trillion dollars? How about universal health care, free college education, 15 dollar minimum wage, a modern energy network and upgraded infrastructure. The problem is what we are going to do with the trillions left over. How about paying down 20% of the national debt. And here at this point this diehard liberal snowflake old veteran would like to quote an older, wiser Republican president, Dwight D. Eisenhower who said upon leaving office “we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence by the military industrial complex”. We now have a 600 billion dollar plus defense budget more than twice as large as the combined defense budgets of China and Russia.

What are Examples of "Job Killing Regulations"?

Republicans campaign against "job killing regulations." Could someone please identify some of these "job killing regulations"? Can you identify any business that went under because of too many regulations? In my experience, businesses fail not because of "regulations," but on account of lack of customers, lack of planning, or lack of capital.
