Does The Postman Deliver All Of My Mail

Can my mailman refuse to deliver my mail because of a dog?

I adopted a dog 6 months ago and he's pretty mild mannered, except when it comes to UPS delivery guys and the mailman. I've only ever witness him bark 3 times (twice at the UPS guy and once at the mailman). Today was the first time he barked at the mailman. (I had the front door open, but the screen door closed) And the mailman came back later in the day to tell me that my dog was "very aggressive" and he will not deliver to my apartment. And that my dog "will cause a lot of trouble".

This really shocked me because he never had a problem with my previous dog at the front screen door. And he's actually met my current dog before. (I was out on a walk with him and I ran into the mailman. He didn't bark at that time. The mailman even petted him and gave him a treat!)

Is there something I can do to show to the mailman that my doors are secure and my dog will not be able to get to him? I'm also starting to train my dog not to bark at delivery guys (but it's going to take a few months). Also, if my doors are both shut my dog won't even bark when he hears the mailman.

I really like my mailman. He's been super friendly ever since I moved in. I don't want him to be scared of my new dog.

My dog only barked at him. He didn't try to bite him through the screen door or anything.

Any insight or suggestion will be helpful. Thanks!

Postman deliver someone else letter to my mail box, what should I do?

I believe the name and address are correct. However postman delivered someone else mail in my mailbox. I put it back to the mailbox and raise flag, hoping the postman pick it up and deliver it to correct address. However, the letter stayed in my mailbox for days and still there. What should I do? I tried to post a question in USPS website. It is impossible to do that. So I post my question here.

Does the mailman deliver his own mail? ..or does he have is own mail person?

Dont you have an essay you should be working on?

What do I do if my mail has stopped being delivered?

our mails bro Contact your local Postal service and ask for the superintendent. Then proceed to ask this person if they can track down the reason for your mails being stopped. It could be for a safety concern brought forward by the carrier or delivery truck/van/car. It could be because there is a “"Stop mail” request (incorrectly maybe) attached to your address. It's worth the investigation as you very well may be able to correct the bad step/ Barking unchained dog/wooden planks covering a deep ditch etc or whatever the issue is, or you may be able to correct the administration error if it's that. Regardless it's your mail and it's worth the effort to rectify.

How can I tell if my mailman has delivered mail to my address?

Sign up for Informed Delivery. I'm a mail carrier myself, and I love this new feature the USPS just debuted a couple months ago.Informed Delivery™ - Email NotificationDownside is that as of right now, it only tells you about letter sized mail coming for the day. But, it's pretty useful regardless.Another thing you can do, which a few of my customers do, if you have a mailbox with a flag on it to signal if you have outgoing mail, you could put said flag up every day even if you're not sending anything out, and when the mail man comes by he’ll put the flag down and all you have to do is look to see if the flag is still up or not to know if he's come through yet.

What time does the mailman deliver the mails in houston tx?

Mail hasn't been delivered twice a day in over a century.

As for delivery time, that depends on where on the carrier's route you are. It could be anywhere between 9:30 and 4:30.

When it rains do they still deliver mail?

Ever heard the expression " Rain,Sleet,Snow- we deliver" ? That would be the Post Office.

Why did the mailman try to deliver my USPS package at 5:47pm when the mail was already delivered earlier today?

Basically a couple ways this can happen. It WAS on the mail truck. Mailman made a mistake and didn't see it when he delivered earlier. He either came back to your business which was closed, or it got discovered when he got back to post office. They then need to make a “stop the clock” scan to keep it from showing up on reports that go up to district offices. It should be redelivered next day. It also could have been sent out with wrong route and when discovered it was too late, once again a “stop the clock” scan. This may be(seem) slightly dishonest. With the large number of packages mistakes can happen, supervisors don't really need some tool from district calling them out for the blood of their carriers. If it's a one time thing, let it go. If it happens more than once, you should talk to your local post office.
