Does The Tmobile 30 $ Plan From Wallmart Support Domestic Data Roaming

What is the cheapest “pay as you go” mobile plan in USA on June 2016'?

T Mobile pay per use is the best plan you can get at the moment. You get 30 minutes of talk or 30 text messages or combination of both for $3 a month which will be the minimum charge every month. Each additional minute of talk or an extra text will cost $0.1. This will keep continuing as long as you have enough money in your account. You have options to refill the account for as low as $10. I have been using this for more than 6 months now and serves me well since I generally use Wi-Fi at home/office for the data needs. What's the difference between T-Mobile and MetroPCS? Both are owned by the same company and use the same towers. Why should I pay more for T-Mobile service?

T-Mobile and MetroPCS are owned by the same company Deutsche Telekom and use the same network however this does not mean that they use the network equally. If you read the terms and conditions of MetroPCS on their website Details it states “as a feature differentiating MetroPCS-branded service and plans from T-Mobile-branded services, data of customers who choose T-Mobile branded service plans has precedence over data of customers who choose non T-Mobile-branded service plans, such as MetroPCS, when the network is presented with competing demands” as well as statingWhich says that in times and locations where the network is heavily loaded MetroPCS customer’s will have reductions in their data speeds to free up the network for T-Mobile customers. If you are a MetroPCS customer who uses a high amount of data you will definitely see your speed lowered when the network is at high capacity to make room for T-Mobile customers so T-Mobile customers can use their devices at high speeds.Other than having data prioritized below T-Mobile, MetroPCS customers must pay their bill on time otherwise there phone's service will need shut off. Example if your monthly bill is due in the 4th of each month if you don't pay by the 4th then on the 5th of the month your service will be shut off. On a postpaid contract phone with T-Mobile if you didn't pay by the 4th your phone service will still be active you just may recieve a late fee charge.Hope this helped.

Is there any reason to use Wi-Fi if I have an unlimited data plan?

Actually, no, not in late April, 2018. (When the normal download speed exceeds 100mbps, and cellphone technology hasn’t caught up [which is about when Papa Bear becomes real], then wifi will be faster.)The way the internet works, you’re seldom going to see a download faster than 5mbps these days, and just about any 4GLTE connection is capable of a lot more than that. So unless you’re in the habit of downloading 10 huge files at a time (which, even at full speed, would need a 50mbps connection), whether you’re on wifi or 4GLTE won’t make any difference. When I had unlimited data, I turned wifi on when I wanted to connect to my desktop wirelessly, otherwise the phone was on mobile data 24/7. (But I went to a 2GB/month plan to save a ton of money, so I’m on wifi until I leave the house, and don’t do much internet stuff when I’m not. [I’m retired, so I don’t use wifi “at the office” or anything like that.) Now, Tasker turns mobile data on when I lose my wifi connection and turns it off when I get a wifi connection. (Which isn’t perfect - Walmart gives you limited wifi - no internet connection. But I only use the phone to pay, so that doesn’t matter, but if I wanted an internet connection while I was in the store [and I can’t imagine why I would], I’d have to enable mobile data.)But anyone who tells you that your 300mbps wifi connection is going to get you downloads faster than 4GLTE still needs to study how the internet works. The path from that little server that can’t upload faster than 10mbps is as fast as you’ll download data from it - if you’re the only one downloading from it. If 10 people are downloading from it at once, the best anyone will get is 1mbps.

What would it cost to use my phone in Jamaica?

bob and nikki are right

I just wanted to add that your incoming calls are free once you put in a Digicel card.
so have your family and friends call YOU instead of the other way around so you won't burn through your minutes...

Is your verizon phone a tri or quad band? if it is , it will work internationally. I also think you need to call verizon and have them send you a code to unlock your phone in order for the digicel sim card to work.

At least that's what I have to do with my t mobile phone.
