Why don't guys think I'm pretty?
I'm 18 and throughout my whole life, I've been told how beautiful I am by family, family friends, my girlfriends, even from kind elderly strangers. Even though I'll admit that it's nice to hear it from them, I have never truly believed that I'm really as pretty or as beautiful as they say I am. I have never once heard it from a guy. Guys don't approach me or even give me the time of day. Everyone I know praises me for how much a kind person I am and how sweet I am. Is it possible that I come off as unapproachable or something? I don't know. But it seriously affects my self esteem. I am probably one the most insecure persons you would ever meet. But funny thing is, I'm even insecure about my insecurities (if that even makes sense). So around other people, I tend to hind my insecurities and pretend that everything is okay. I don't know what's wrong with me. Even if I take the initiative to talk to a guy first, things go well for a while, we get to know each other a little better, and then I get friend zoned. I know how to dress myself. I don't go out looking trashy and slutty to get attention and I also don't go out hiding every inch of skin. I wear clothes that are stylish and show just enough to leave it up to the imagination. So I hope it's not my appearance (clothing-wise) that affects this. Please help me. I'm not desperate for a boyfriend of anything. I've gone 18 years without being in a relationship, I can deal with it a little while longer. It would be nice to be in a relationship, but that's not my main focus right now. I would just like to know that guys do find me attractive.
How do you know if a guy thinks your pretty?
If you notice him staring at you for a lengthy period of time or if he purposely tries to make eye contact with you and holds your gaze. Also when he smiles or blushes continually when he looks at you. Or whenever he comes right out and says that your pretty. Hope this helped :)

How to tell if a guy thinks I'm pretty?
Ok so at my school the guys are really annoying and they don't talk to girls pretty much. Girls tell me I'm pretty and some guys do but there's literally no way to tell if someone thinks you're attractive or if they like you. Are there any signs that I can pick up to know that a guy thinks I'm pretty?

over the last month ive been called a pretty boy at the club twice by guys and once by a girl. one girl said i was nice looking but i look "gay". she said i kinda looked gay like that paul walker guy?? than she asked me if i was. im not. it almost seems pointless to go clubbing when girls think youre taken or gay. any advice?

It probably means what it sounds like, that he thinks you’re pretty cute.But don’t go expecting things after that. It seems like you’re interested and tickled he said that. Saying something does not mean he will act on it. I could say a guy is cute, but that’s it, it won’t mean anything more.Just saying it would be good for you to accept what he said, smile, maybe say a thank-you. Then let him try to befriend you if he wants. Don’t be disappointed if he doesn’t. Chances are, there’ll be other guys thinking you’re pretty cute, too. Just chill ;)
How can I tell when a guy thinks I'm pretty?
When you look, you’ll catch him staring at you—even if he breaks eye contact (which took me until very (very) recently to understand that breaking eye contact is not a sign of disinterest—I always assumed it was and immediately dismissed everything, continuing about my way with no further thought).
Guys think i'm pretty, but they don't ask me out, Never ?
So I'm 18 years old, i'm tall, and (i'm not being arrogant or anything), but i think i'm pretty and attractive and everyone around me tells me that, But here's the problem, guys in college and everything, don't ask me out, they tell me things like "your hair is beautiful", "you look nice today", "how do you like your future boyfriend to treat you ?" etc... And they ask me for my phone number etc... but nothing happens it just stops right here, I don't know if the problem is in me, because i'm a little bit a shy girl, i'm not the flirty girl who keeps staring at this guy and the other guy, And i don't talk a lot too, But i'm nice, and i won't reject or refuse any guy who will come and talk to me, I'm nice to everyone, And everytime a guy is close to ask me out, they just change their mind suddenly and stop showing me that i'm interesting for them, There's another thing that i've noticed, Guys in general, especially colleagues/classmates, they look scared when they talk to me, And they can't spell words in a normal way, I don't know why but they seem a little bit embarrassed to talk to me, And some of them can't even look at my eyes while talking to me, What's wrong ? I hope you can give me some advices, i'll appreciate it :)

You can not change the way other people think about you.Wearing make-up, getting you hair done nicely and wearing nicer clothes will not make guys automatically attracted to you. A lot of females wrongly assume a make over will make guys find them attractive. It does not work. Either somebody is attracted to your or they are not. You can not change other peoples opinions and preferences. No amount of make-up and fancy clothing will make a guy automatically attracted to you.There is somebody out there for everyone though. Just because a few guys are not interested in you, it does not mean all guys are not interested in you.
