Does This Hookah Set Come With Everything

Does hookah get you high or buzzed at all?

Yes, you might get high depending on how accustomed to nicotine you are. Contrary to the popular myth, hookah is harmful and does contain tobacco and nicotine and uses charcoal to burn the flavor which produces smoke which consists of carbon monoxide and other carcinogenic substances.A typical hookah session is the same as about smoking 10 cigarettes which can have quite a negative effect on your body. Hookah is as harmful or maybe even more depending on how many sessions you have.If you haven’t smoked cigarettes/hookah or smoke very rarely/occasionally, then you might feel a little relaxed and light headed. Sometime you can get a bad headache after smoking too much because of the nicotine you are having.A healthier alternative with no harm is to vape. With vaping, you can blow clouds twice in size as hookah minus all the negative effects. Plus you get a larger variety of flavors than with hookah (or cigarettes) and you carry your vaporizer wherever you go. It’s safe for you and for the people around you.Make the switch.

How do you use a hookah?

the will probably set it up for you if you are visiting. a hookah is just a big water pipe with a hose that you use to suck the smoke through. you put the "tobacco" in the bowl on the top and cover it with tin foil. you poke small holes in the foil and place a lit coal on top to light the tobacco. then all you do is suck the smoke through the hose and enjoy.

What is the average start up cost for a hookah lounge?

The real cost of a hookah lounge comes down to the actual space, furniture, monthly rent , tvs , sound system. That is going to be variable depending on your choice and the size of the space. As for the cost of hookah related items I can break it down for you.Hookahs:Khalil Mamoon ( Most commonly used Egyptian style hookahs)Wholesale you can get these for $40-$50Fumo, Lavoo, other glass hookahsAbout 60% of retails costCheap as $100 for a low end glass hookahAbout $250 for a Fumo Jar. (Pictured above)HosesAll hookahs that you buy come with hoses, beside the fumo pictured above the hoses aren’t great and will eventually be stained with the taste of flavor and will need to be replaced. I’d recommend spending a little more money and getting a high quality silicon hose from the start.10 x $60 = $600 Dream hoseFlavorAll prices will be per kilo as this is the cheapest option and you’ll be buying in bulkFumari = $50Starbuzz = $45Al Fakher = $40Charcoal will vary but will be the lower end of your costs. So with that breakdown lets take a medium size hookah lounge about 2000 sqft. For that size you have maybe about 30ish tables. For each table I’d say you’d want to have about 2 hookahs to account for larger partiesTo start I’d say the cost would be :60 KM Hookahs x $45 = $270060 Kilos of flavor x $45 = $270080 bowls x $10 = $800Hookah tips, coals, aluminum foil = $500Charcoal stoves = $100To cover all the different flavor combinations and flavor options. So all in all about $7500 for most of what you need for hookah. The hookahs will pay for themselves easily. Depending on what size bowls you get most heads take about 25–30g of flavor. So each $40 kilo of flavor will yield 30–35 bowls of hookah. As a reference each bowl of hookah served to a customer will cost about between $1.50 and $2.00 per bowl. In Los Angeles an average hookah costs $20. You can see the huge profit margin in hookah. Average price of a 2 hosed hookah?

There are so many more variable to consider, but quality is a big one for me. With that and price and mind, skip eBay. I check there a lot for rare finds and have bought several on occasion most turnout to be complete Chinese knockoffs that don't last through two months. For what you are looking for the best retailer is probably Hookah & Shisha Central...they give you all the freebies, like case, cleaning brushes, and more...even tobacco.

I never thought this hookah would be a good smoke but when a friend brought one over and we set it up...wow it smoked like perfection!

You can get some cheaper ones, but let me just say from personal experience go for quality!

I bought a Mya Obelisk Last month and even though it was pricey, the quality, the look and the ability to go from one hose to 2, 3, or even 4 is so awesome I love it.

Can I smoke hookah without shisha?

You should set up the hookah and fill it with water. (Don't light any coals for this.) Then suck through the hose (plug any extra hoses) to see if air is flowing. Air should be flowing.
Next, cover the bowl with you hand and suck through the hose again. If no air is flowing and you feel a little suction on you hand, you have no cracks or leaks you're hookah is good.
You won't get any vapor if you light coals and try smoking it without anything in the bowl. You could try tea I guess but that would be extremely harsh and would not burn the same as shisha. It would probably make your hookah smell awful.

I did hookah and my throat hurts?

Ah, shisha sickness. A common phenomenon for first-timers. The sickness manifests in different ways. Some people faint or feel light-headed. Others get a sore throat. Some people become nauseated or they vomit, while others get a migraine. Here are a few things to keep in mind when smoking hookah to minimize the risk of shisha sickness.

1. Make sure you are not "double inhaling". When you draw from a hookah some smoke is being pulled into the lungs, not just the mouth. It isn't like a cigarette where you draw smoke into the mouth, inhale, hold it, then exhale. I suppose some people smoke the hookah that way, but you don't really want to do that.

2. Don't use quick lite charcoal tabs or BBQ charcoal. Use slow burning coals, preferably natural ones such as Chronic Hookah Natural Coal. It's made from compressed coconut shells. It produces no sulfur and does not burn using any chemicals, so the smoke isn't as harsh.

3. Don't over or under pack your bowl and don't fill the bowl so high that the coals scorch the shisha, which produces harsh smoke.

4. Every so often, if you're getting harsh smoke, you need to purge your hookah. If you're using a single hose model, you simply open the release valve a bit and blow gently into the hose. Smoke will be purged from the vase and will come out the valve. Unfortunately, multiple hose rigs typically cannot be purged.

5. Stay hydrated while smoking. Keep a bottle of water handy. I find pieces of ash tend to fly into an open glass, so having something you can put a lid on is handy. Every so often, take swig.

6. If at any point during your smoking session you feel dizzy, faint, sick to your stomach or get a headache, stop. You don't have to ever push yourself to keep smoking.

7. Don't try to be Shisha Superman. When you're just starting, especially if you don't already smoke cigs, cigars or a tobacco pipe then you aren't used to it. You don't want to be taking insanely long draws off the hookah.

I'm sure your throat will get better very soon. I'd hold off on smoking until it's completely better, just so you don't irritate it all over again.
