Does This Seem Quiet Or Soft Vocaloid

Do vocaloids have personalities? If so, what are some common personality types that vocaloids are programmed to exhibit?

Vocaloids are simply voices in a box and the composer is free to give whatever personality he/she wants to the Vocaloid. Sometimes, the song will be in the point of view of the composer, and the Vocaloid is just a medium to sing his/her song just like any other instrument. However, some do tend to have similar personalities carry into multiple songs, although there are always exceptions:Hatsune Miku: Your typical, bubbly, teenage pop diva. She sings the widest range of songs, as the most popular Vocaloid, so her personality is a little tough to define. But she's usually seen smiling.Kagamine Rin/Len: Rin is often portrayed noisy, excitable, fun-loving and at times, obstinate or selfish. Her powerful voice is great for rock music, and she's my personal favorite. Len is her introverted and more prudent twin brother, boyfriend, and/or mirror image who has almost as much luck as Kenny from South Park. If they're shown together, they tend to be joined at the hip. These two also have a tendency to be singing darker songs or the ones that make you cry. They both have a little evil in them, just try not to cross them and they probably won't run you over with their giant, yellow roadroller.Megurine Luka: An adult with a softer, more serious voice. She tends to play sad, emotional characters in her songs. Sings some great techno songs, but she seems a little robotic in those songs.Megpoid/Gumi: Quiet and thoughtful, but with strong emotions.Hope I could help!

What's the scariest song?

Rammstein - Mein Teil.If you don’t speak German, it might not sound scary, though the official music video is plenty disturbing. Then, if you like it, you get curious about its meaning. You head over to a site that has the translation.Heute treff' ich einen HerrnDer hat mich zum Fressen gernWeiche Teile und auch hartestehen auf der SpeisekarteThose are the first lines of the song. Without knowing German, you probably wouldn’t have a clue that it translates toToday I will meet a gentlemanHe likes me so much he could eat me upSoft parts and even hard onesare on the menu.Literally two lines in, Mein Teil turns to cannibalism.“Weiche Teile," at the start of the third line, is a pun on "Weichteile,” which means "genitals" in German.Yeah. Mein Teil, which literally means “My [sexual] Parts,” was inspired by a real case of a man in Germany soliciting online forums for someone who would willingly let themselves be eaten—specifically, he was “Looking for a well-built 18 to 30-year-old to be slaughtered.” Some unfortunate soul accepted that request, but made the stipulation that they cut off his penis and eat it while he was still alive. That’s exactly what happened. The voluntary victim was then killed and eaten, and the perpetrator was sentenced for manslaughter to 8.5 years in prison. What makes it so scary is that Mein Teil, which would be disturbing even if its inspiration came from a vacuum, is 100% based off of a real event.Lyrics and Translations: Reise, ReiseMein Teil - Wikipedia

How can you tell if your singing is flat? Sometimes I sing a little lower when I sing songs without music. It may be that I'm taking it down a step or half-step, or that I'm flat. What can I can do to check, and fix it, if I am?

ReasonsIt's ok lowering if singing without accompainment. Even professional choirs sometimes lower (the whole choir together) if it's tired, upset or else. The same is with opera singers.Mike singers may not have indefinite intonation. Hearing perfect pitch is a MUST for them. The reasons are:muscles get tired and low down the tone(highing is also possible, if too much arenaline is :)wrong singing position that leads to lowering. This way a singer lowers even having an accompainment (usually about 1/5...1/4 step down).Untrained ear.How to hear it? You are just not trained enough to check it while singing by inner ear. (Or, You may have cetrain ear-voice disorders, but that would affect much more than a step). You need a teacher, or recording Yourself to realize it.What can help You?try singing octaves, fifths' or forths' in excersises. Play a tone on a piano and sing a fifth or forth or octaves to it. Play and sing very softly, almost inaudibly. Try mormorando, open vocals ("Ah"). You should hear that special vibration (sin 2 to 3  is a fifth; 4 to 5 is a forth). It should sound as a gregorian chant.try singing excersises, scales, CHORDS up and down, alterations (softly!).Try singing parts of scales (2,3,4,5 notes along. E.g. do-re-do-re-dodo-re-mi-re-do-re-mi-re-dodo-re-mi-fa-sol...sol-fa-mi-re-doetc. till an octave. Later - till a ninth or thirteenth, finishing with Rossini's arpeggio)

What are some good songs about self loathing?

I’ve been listening to Sia Furler quasi-obsessively lately, and “Chandelier” strikes me as an excellent self-loathing song. What I like about it is that most songs about self-hatred seem very resigned, bordering on self-pity. The narrator in “Chandelier” has a lot of fight left in her, and she struggles to transcend her current state. It’s nice to hear a song about self-loathing that features desperation instead of despair. (Well, that and I think that Sia’s brain and voice are both amazing.)LyricsParty girls don't get hurtCan't feel anything, when will I learnI push it down, push it downI'm the one "for a good time call"Phone's blowin' up, ringin' my doorbellI feel the love, feel the love1, 2, 3 1, 2, 3 drink…Throw 'em back, till I lose countI'm gonna swing from the chandelier, from the chandelierI'm gonna live like tomorrow doesn't existLike it doesn't existI'm gonna fly like a bird through the night, feel my tears as they dryI'm gonna swing from the chandelier, from the chandelierBut I'm holding on for dear life, won't look down won't open my eyesKeep my glass full until morning light, 'cause I'm just holding on for tonight…Sun is up, I'm a messGotta get out now, gotta run from thisHere comes the shame, here comes the shame1, 2, 3 1, 2, 3 drink…Chandelier - Sia

Why do Japanese woman have a high pitch voice?

That high-pitched voice is often heard in public announcements, from secretaries on the phone, and from staff at ryokan greeting guests. It is a form of politeness, adding something to the exchange beyond words. The most hard-nosed, battle-weary executive secretary will switch to a higher and softer tone while taking a phone call. It just sounds politer. After taking the call, they will efficiently return to the business at hand, castigating underlings and reprimanding managers, in their normal voice. An experienced personal assistant or executive secretary can switch levels of politeness and cordially with remarkable speed. I once had the honor of working with one, though briefly. The day she walked into the Hotel Okura and immediately controlled the executive event and media interviews, anticipating my every wish before I spoke it, while reading the minds of everyone within 50 meters, and doing it all while switching levels or politeness and cordially, is still my standard for executive event management.
