Does This Sound Like A Good Idea For A Band

Does this sound like a good idea?

This idea is sweet and long car-rides are fun! But it's your plan so make sure you drive so he won't get tired (;
BUT
If you guys have only gone out for a couple months, then maybe this is a TAD over-the-top. I'd say a good strong six months is good for this kind of thing.
Make sure you have plenty of conversation on the way up, but don't drone on. Listen to his type
of music and be cute and excited, "We're gonna have so much fun today!"
Maybe engage in a blueberry war!
I think this is a cute idea.

Does this sound like a good idea?

I have an idea for a book:

A first-person narrative, about a 21-year-old delusional law student. When she was 15 years old, she had a very traumatic experience with a fortune teller that is told in flashbacks in the story. In the beginning, though, it is confirmed that the fortune teller has told her that in a past life she killed 19 people. She starts having vivid dreams of her past life and feels guilty that she will be helping more people who have commited these crimes be set free. In the end she commits suicide and in the afterlife(I'm not so sure of what kind of afterlife I'm looking at here...) she confronts all the people she killed and they forgive her.

So what do you think?

Does this sound like a good idea for a band?

We would combine Alt Metal, Rap, Some other instruments/Very fast Electronica
These would be 4 things that would be part of our band:
1: Have all the songs average around 2:45 in length
2: Write all the lyrics either about horror stories like murdering a girl you had sex with by asphyxiation or stuff about things in mankind's history like Ancient Rome's fall or what a Ninja was in Feudal Japan
3: Curse constantly in every single song
4: We would affectionately call our male fans Sadists and our female fans Satanists
We would have 20 members each with their own getup thing like masks or face paint:
1 Singer(Wears a mouse mask with dreadlocks)
1 Rapper(Wears red face paint)
2 Screamers/Growlers(They both wear white jumpsuits)
1 Lead Guitarist(Wears black face paint)
1 Bass Guitarist(Crossdresses)
2 Rhythm Guitarists(They both wear red jumpsuits)
1 Drummer(Has really long hair down to the knees/never uses proper hygiene)
1 Flute player(Wears a penis hat with a model of an erect penis standing straight up)
1 Trumpet player(Wears a dark yellow jumpsuit)
1 Trombone player(this would be me and i would wear a dragon mask)
1 Clarinet player (Wears a necklace of dildos around his neck)
1 Marimbist(Wears a backwards green hat)
1 Tuba player(Wears lots of lipstick/HEAVY makeup/eyeliner)
5 DJ's(They all wear bike helmets/ballgags)
Our band name would be Fanta Juice Skates or FJS for short

Does this sound like a good idea for a band?

i would do nu metal, rap metal and add in electronics into it and i would also put in violins and a few songs got acoustics and some would even have guitar solos. The lyrics would be anything i felt like ranging from writing songs about my broken family life/being bullied in school to political to pappy-happy to horror story to future hits of a song i have written the lyrics to about 40 songs in the past five months my biggest influence would have to be Linkin Park i want to bring Nu Metal back onto people's radars and we would have 7 members:
1: Rapper/Scatting(me): I would wear a blue ski mask, red beanie hat/sunglasses
2: Singer/Metal Vocals: He would wear green camo face paint
3: Lead Guitarist/Acoustic if needed: He would wear a gold-colored iron man mask
4: Bass Guitarist: He would wear eye color changing contacts and a wig that's dreadlocks
5: Drummer: He would wear one of those old-school diving helmets
6: Electronics: He would wear corpse paint
7: Violinist: He would wear full-scale body armor and have his bangs cover his eyes
oh and all the vocals would be rapped or sometimes scatted or sometimes metal vocaled and only the choruses would be sung and we would each have our own image and our band name would be Fill In The Blank otherwise known as (FITB) and our first album would be named "We Really Suck"

Does this sound like a good idea?

There are many bands in the world, but what about a group? this is where this idea came to me:
I will be joining my jr high band. I will be playing the saxophone, (a beautiful instrument) and my BFF bri plays the piano/keyboard. We are thinking og becoming a group with 1 other person for a jazz band. There is this great coffee house up on the sqare that has a small stage to be used. We will have our own instruments. We'd like to preform so many nights a week for $20 a night. 40% of our earnings will go to charity.
does this idea sound good? any suggestions? PLEASE give all opinions.

Does this sound like a good idea?

kinky idea, a little experienced advice though - if this is your first 3 some with a friend.. make sure neither of you have ANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNY kind of feeling for this dude - jealousy is a unattractive feature in the bedroom and it will ruin a friendship.

Does this sound like a good idea ?

i have a tendency to decide things quickly, do them & regret them or give up.. i'm often heard saying
''well it seemed like a good idea at the time''

so i want to learn guitar :)
i really like acoustic music & i can't play an instrument so.. i wanna save up buy a guitar & teach myself lol. does this seem like a good idea ? can you even teach yourself ?

it'd be proving to myself i could stick with something & do something (unless i give up lol) & a little f*ck you to everyone who thinks i can't do anything :)

what do you think ?
can you play guitar & is it possible/easy to teach yourself ?

Does this sound like a good idea for me and my girlfriend?

I went to college for a year and it didn't workout so i joined the United States Coast Guard and i get sent off in two months. Me and my girlfriend have been talking about getting married but she wants to finish college first before getting married and doesn't want to be engaged for a little more than 2 years. We are both 20 and she is a junior in college. When i leave for the basic training we would have been dating for a little more than 10 months and when i get back it will be a little more than a year. I was thinking about giving her a promise ring before or after basic training. Since i can't get engaged this is the closes thing to it.

What do you think and please don't say promise rings are stupid and pointless because I want to do something before I leave. Should i give it to her before basic or when I come home for basic for 5 days before I move far away????

Is this a good idea for my band?

So, I'm interested in forming a band, we have it set, but we need a way to get this band going! Here our my ideas and information!

The band is

Guy A - Lead Vocals, Screams, Rap (If needed), Main lyricist
Guy B - Guitar, Ukulele, Backing vocals, Secondary composer
Guy C - Bass Guitar, Spoken parts, Backing screams,
Guy D - Drums, Secondary lyricist, Main composer

This is a brief description of what each member looks like...

Guy A - Dark black emoish hair, brown eyes, tall, average weight, Native American.
Guy B - Medium Height, a little over weight, Glasses, Short black curly hair with brown highlights, Filipino
Guy C - Short, average weight, short black hair, brown eyes, Caucasian,
Guy D - Average height, Muscular, black hair, spiked in front, Japanese

A plan I have, is to release a few videos on youtube, a few covers and an original song... Those covers would be.

You're Gonna Go Far Kid - The Offspring
Savior - Rise Against
Swing, Swing - All American Rejects
Things That Rhyme With Orange - I Set My Friends on Fire
The Carpal Tunnel of Love - Fall Out Boy

and then we would post an Original song called Paradox

We would be playing the styles of music of the songs listed above!

A: Does it sound from our group we have everything we need for a band?
B: From our descriptions who do you think the fans would follow as more of the front man?
C: Is "You're Gonna Go Far Kid" a good song to cover to show a wide vocal range and skill playing difficult pieces on instruments? How so?
D: Is "Savior" a good song to cover to show a wide vocal range and skill playing difficult pieces on instruments? How so?
E: Is "Swing, Swing" a good song to cover to show a wide vocal range and skill playing difficult pieces on instruments? How so?
F: Is "Things That Rhyme With Orange" a good song to cover to show a wide vocal range and skill playing difficult pieces on instruments? How so?
G: Is "The Carpal Tunnel of Love" a good song to cover to show a wide vocal range and skill playing difficult pieces on instruments? How so?
H: Does it sound like we have a solid plan to get our music out, how would the plan be improved?
I: Based on the information, would you give our band a listen?

One of the keys to finding a great name is to keep things simple. You will also want to add some ingredients to your brand name, so that it evokes some emotions and thinking similar to that of your audience. As you are looking for a advertising brand name that you will want something media friendly (across all platforms), rather short and creative, with possibly a sense of reward, social, crowd or of growth.Consider names like BrandStereo, SurfaceCube, they do not need to contain the word "advertising" in order to convey the correct message.Consider reading this post on business naming and understanding the customer experience, it might help a bit.
