Does This Sound Like A Good Idea For A Book

Does my book idea sound good?

It's about two rival girls, where one girl (named Ashley), believes that the other girl (named Taylor), is trying to get between her and her soon-to-be boyfriend. Her boyfriend is actually a psychotic control freak, who wants to believe Ashley will do anything for him, and he tells her that Taylor is a roadblock in their key to happiness, and that she must be "gotten rid of". Ashley doesn't want to, but her warped sense of morality due to her desire and fear of Wayne might make her step past the boundaries of common sense---and make her do something she will always regret.

There are also two other boys involved, named Michael and Matt, who serve to be Ashley's friends and mentors. They also are into extreme sports as a subplot.

Is my book idea good??

Okay so there's this girl her name is December. Her mother and her travel a lot so they jump from apartment to apartment' but they stay in the same place for at least a year sometime 11 months. But December isn't a fan of moving around a lot and wishes to go back to the place she was born' Nashville Tennessee. But her Mom says that most people only ever dream about seeing the world and that she should take it in honor that she can see things most people only dream. So December sucks it up and tries to make the best of it.

((The new place there at is Seattle.)) When they get to the apartment December goes up to their room and decides to go to bed. But once she reaches the hall she see's a guy about her age 16 with messy brown hair ((NOT CURLY)) His eyes are turquoise and his skin is a flash white color. When she see's him she decides to go up and ask him if he's lost etc. But when she walks up to him he just ignores her and walks away. She feels some what offended but quickly shakes it off.

The next morning when she wakes up she decides to go for a walk she tells her mom and then leaves. As she walks outside the apartment building she see's the same boy from the night before' so she walks up to him. He looks at her as though she's scum on the bottom of his shoe and turns away.

She just shrugs and then turns away and decides to walk over to a McDonalds which is only a couple minutes away to go get some breakfast. When she gets there she see's the boy but this time he's with a girl. The girl has Blonde straight hair and pale' pale skin she's wearing red lipstick and has the same turquoise eyes as the boy. When the girl see's her she comes over and says "hello". December greets her and then asks if her and the boy are related. She responds with a "yes but also says the only difference is I'm smarter when it comes to my meals. December doesn't understand but goes along with it. "Would you like to join us for breakfast"? the girl asks. " "Shure but I don't think your brother likes me". December replies. Oh we always take good care of our fiends and we are friends right"?

And that's all I'm putting but what do you think so far?

Does my novel idea sound good/original?

I am a amateur writer wanting to write a fantasy novel but i am not sure if my idea is any good. These are some of my current ideas:
_The protagonist rather than being a farm boy with a prophecy is the son of a emperor born and raised in a large empire which war is everyday life. And rather being a positive personality he is a cynic, dark, very objective and a warfare tactician and eventually he become emperor and starts a twisted goal to 'unify' a broken world as one or in other words world conquest for the greater 'good'.
_Royals and monarchs such as kings, queens and princess will be mentioned for political reasons so if the protagonist does get married to a princess of another kingdom, its purely for economical and alliance reasons though she will provide moral support for the troubled emperor and she will eventually soften his cold hard heart. (a romance element wouldn't hurt)
_The emperors empire is a large powerful and warlike land which uses gunpowder weapons (civil war era rifles) and has access to steam tanks, steam mechs, ironclad battleships, submarines, planes and crank powered machine guns, i won't go far to put automatic weapons in it though.
_The empire (haven't found a name for it yet) starts using portals to conquer different worlds and builds a even bigger empire but he stumbles upon a world where most of the story will take place This land is home to humans, elves, dwarfs, orcs and other mythical creatures whom prefer swords and magic over guns and technology. i will rewrite them as i know i can never beat Tolkiens elves.
_Well basically in the story the empire does make progress in conquest but eventually he falls in love with the world and when outer world invaders (demons maybe) also arrive on the scene the conquerors (the empire)become the protectors. (sounds cheesy, ill work on that and try yo write it better)
_Oh yeah, this theme is dark, gritty, mature and if were ever made into a movie it (if it even gets through to the editor) would be beyond R rated.

Well that's all i got for now, tell me what you thing of my idea, be honest and feel free to express your opinion.

Does this sound like a good idea? ?

my brother spends sooo much time reading books evry yr, like he spends thousands of dollars on books every year. i was thinkin since we have video rental stores maybe we should have stores that rent books too. like ppl could pick one out and then bring it back when there dun and then go and find another one. does that sound like a good idea ??

I want to write a book, but I don't have any good ideas. How do I get inspiration?

Okay, this is going to sound like nitpicking, but if you don't have any ideas you want to write, then you don't want to write a book. You just want to have written a book.Still, keep working at it. Read as much as you can. Watch as much as you can. Spot the connections between things that have nothing to do with each other. Lock ideas that hate each other in a small room together and see if they fight or get it on. Most of all, always ask yourself "what if?". Any time you find something interesting, see how far you can extrapolate that observation to drive a new plot. Here, by way of example, are the initial genesis for the plots for three of the five novel-in-a-day events I've run so far:The Dark (NiaD 2011) -- I had a nightmare where I basically lived through a slasher movie. I woke up with the thought "They'll never believe me" in my head.Lunar520 (NiaD 2012) -- I read an article on the BBC News website about a real experiment called Mars500 and thought "you can't really know how people would react to that kind of isolation in an artificial environment because they don't believe they could really die".Section7 (NiaD 2014) -- I realised one day that I had no idea why MI5 and MI6 were called MI5 and MI6 so read up on what had happened to MI1 through 4 (and, as I learnt, MI7 through to MI19!). MI7 struck me as something that could in theory still exist in some form.

What is the main idea of the book sounder?

Between now and Jan. 8, you have plenty of time to read the book and find out for yourself!

Is this a good idea for the book I want to write?

In my humble opinion, it’s a very weak subject. I don’t where you’re from, but no publisher will want to publish such a story (not a Kurdish one, neither a Turkish one as the Kurds are not whom they want to read about.)Your story lacks realism (age gap, the guy looks like the man of YOUR dreams). If you don’t thoroughly know the political and historical background of the feud between the Turks and the Kurds you’ll end up with an ordinary, poorly written, rather unlikely love story. Moreover, even if it’s written and published in English, the offer of novels written by native English speakers that daily hit the market is so overwhelming, that no one will take notice of your masterpiece. The English speaking world is so used to reading novels that are set in a world they’re familiar with (their own), that they couldn’t care less about adolescent love of a girl living in a world they (nor you?) makes them leave their comfort zone and about which they couldn’t care less.

Does This Sound Like An Interesting Book?

I am rather shy about my writing. I have an idea for a novel that I want to post on Wattpad.com, but I've decided to get your opinions on the synopsis first. It is a Science Fiction/Adventure (There will be some action and probably a little romance, but not too much). I know that Dystopian science fiction novels are sort of overdone right now, but I want to write this because I genuinly enjoy writing dystopian books, not because of books like The Hunger Games. I appreciate construction critisism, but please don't be rude about it.

Synopsis: Drea Ashings world is shattered when her sister, Elodie, is kidnapped after an attack that leaves her home in ruins. With little but her own life, Drea sets off on a journey through the ravaged wastelands left behind by the War to find her sister.
Suddenly thrown into a lawless, ugly reality, perhaps the most surprising thing of all is what Drea learns about herself; she is as tough as nails, cold as ice and an unbeatable survivor. On a journey that started as a mission to save her sister, Drea will be given the chance to change her corrupt society. There is only one flaw; Drea isn't a hero.

Thanks in advance <3

(To any of those interested in reading, it will be posted on my Wattpad account in a few days. My username is DreamingCorpse).
