Does This Sound Like An Awesome Magic Library

What's a last name that sounds really good with the name "Jessica" ?

let me explain...
i'm writing a short story, my main character's name is "jessica"
not because it's my name, but because
it sounds good with the name of her love interest. i don't know i guess i'm just really obsessed with my character's names sounding really good together and things like that...
could someone help me out?

Where do I find that one sound clip from Jimmy Durante?

I remember that well!

I've searched in vain for that sound clip, but don't despair.... it might take some legwork, but it can be found.

First link below offers sample sound clips from an album, you might have to go through and listen for that phrase. If you find it, right click and save to hard drive, you know the drill.

Other links below show film- and discography links, same as above... you might have to search a few of these to find it. Check user forums too. Turner Classic Movies forum is full of movie buffs who are awesome when it comes to helping each other out, register as a user and ask the question on there, someone is bound to link you up!

Another suggestion, he was parodied in many cartoon episodes! Do a search on the Big Cartoon Database (link below) and in their forum for info on finding this phrase as a .wav file. Found a couple of references to JD on that site.

Check the Internet Archive for this file, too. And don't forget their forum! Link below.

Only other thing I can think of right now is to visit the Library of Congress and check for audio files on there.

Whew! If I find the file before you do, I'll edit my post.

Good luck!
:)

What are some of the easiest magic tricks?

“What are some of the easiest magic tricks?”Damnit, I’m going to have to write a sincere answer. Some tricks are technically easy, but don’t fool anybody. Some tricks will fool everybody, and are technically simple, but if you don’t have a good script and presentation, you’ll screw them up and humiliate yourself.Every competent magician has spent a great deal of time in section 793.8 of their public libary. I hope your country has public libraries, or if not, that you avail yourself of the many classics of magic that are inexpensive or on the net as a public domain ebook. The key thing is to read through a hundred or so tricks. Find ones you like (that sound exciting), and practice them in private until it looks natural in a mirror. If your hand looks cramped, or you are holding your shoulders in a funny way, you’ll look suspicious and your audience will bust you. So save yourself the humiliation, make friends with a mirror (or several if you want to see other angles), and most importantly ….…. have fun with magic.

Do magic spells really work?

I'm kinda thinking about getting into it. I've been using herbal medicine for years, and I've got a huge collection of gemstones. I'm a huge believer in the healing powers of herbs. Gem stones not so much, but i'm starting to see what's so special about them. Anyway, I was an atheist before I met this guy whom i was with for three years. He's a christian but he does use magick. I wouldn't have believed in that stuff had i not seen strange thing myself. I started to believe in telepathy and the power of the mind's will.
So am I insane for thinking that humans are capable of doing certain things that we're not aware of? Do magick spells work? Can we have premenitions in our dreams? Am I being a childish fool and should just stick to what science can proove?

p.s. one of the things my bf could do, was get into my bed while i'm alone. I would feel him behind me, caressing my body. It was a very euphoric feeling. Then the next day he'd tell me that the night before he was talking to me while he was alone in his bed. He said that he had long conversations with me. Is this all just a coincidence or is this some weird spell he put on me?

What is this quote from? "your voice sounds like a combination of fergie and jesus"?

It's from the movie "Step Brothers" by the character Dale, played by John C. Reilly.

Here's the full quote:

"Your voice is like a combination of Fergie and Jesus. This is gonna sound weird, but for a second, I think you took on the shape of a unicorn."

I have some amazing ideas about designing unique sounds in software synths, and I also want to gain popularity as an EDM producer. What should I do to share my ideas and songs with the world?

Create about 50 or so of your unique presets for each of the soft synths you use. Market through social media. Give them away to producers and DJs.Will Hardwell use them? Probably not, but up and coming producers will be grateful you're giving them a fantastic, unique set of sounds for free. Don’t bombard every producer. Pick 2 or 3 at a time. Move on to the next group if you don’t get a response. You can track downloads through WeTransfer. Be professional. Ask for a social media mention only if they use your presets.Consider selling direct from your own site and/or through online outlets such as Sample Magic, Dance MIDI Samples, Freshly Squeezed Samples, etc.Keep building your library. I suspect with moderate success you’ll be noticed and doors will open. Be ready with music. Your tracks must be excellent. Work on getting your sound down and perfecting your approach. Be systematic, diligent and most of all humble. All the best.

How do I make my voice sound better on android version SMULE (singing app) ?

You just stole my question…while I was given an option…I was looking for a reasonable alternative..Smule is more of an IOS friendly App and not very good with Android. I am an avid user of Smule and love singing on it and love my Android phone equally. I have been changing headphones from one to another in last 11 months…with no improvement in my overall experience.I recently switched to iPhone headset, the problem honestly reduced to some extent…but it still persists and bothers people who wish to join my songs more than I do, because of the crazy distortion in the background.I finally tried singing using my husband's iPhone..and voila!! It worked like magic. All these months I was thinking it is either my headphone or just me not singing right. The option given to me was to switch from Android to iPhone which I don't find reasonable.I know I haven't provided any solution…but have tried eliminating the reasons we might be thinking of, causing a bad recording experience on Smule for us, like our headphone, our singing style or our surroundings etc etc.I saw a YouTube video where this android user was talking about a device she used to plug into her phone to get rid of all the distortions. I have no idea whether it works or not…you could try that…
