Does Brazillian waxing hurt the first time?

Well I won't lie and say it feels super but it is not unbearable. A person well versed in Aesthetics will put pressure on the area after she pulls it. It helps. But the pain is short and something I can endure. Some places use a topical anesthetic. To me it never helped. I assume you are leaving a "landing strip" so to speak since you said Brazilian but in case you decide to take it in further I thought I would tell you the further in you wax, say from the crease in your leg inwards toward the center of your va-jay-jay, the more it hurts. A Sphinx gets a bit ouch but I have had it done......It never made my regrowth lighter in color but it did make it less dense when I was doing it on a regular basis. I would get it done a week or so before you go because sometimes it does make your skin red and a bit puffy so you would want the inflammation gone before your trip and swimming. Then again you may not have that problem at all. I am fair skinned and it makes my skin red. There is a product called Tend Skin that stings a bit at first so I would wait a few days after waxing to use it but it prevents ingrown hairs when they are growing back out and helps with the bumps if you decide to later shave the area you had waxed, The hair growth there is uneven. So some hairs will regrow quicker but they are a lot less than what you normally have growing so shaving can help your waxing last longer because it isn't as much to shave. Waxing is so much better than shaving. You get seriously smooth results. I love it.

Does it hurt getting eyebrows waxed for the very first time?

I'm getting my eyebrows waxed tomorrow before I go on a trip, so i'm definitely getting it waxed tomorrow. For the first time in my life. I'm really terrified about it because i HATE pain and I don't cope well with it whatsoever! I've read other answers about this on YahooAnswers and they all say it hurts but i need some soothing words to help me get through it. I already know the procedure: you lay down, they stick some hot wax and then rip it off with a piece of paper. I've gotten my forehead and armpits waxed before, so i'm used to that kind of pain. Does it like REALLY hurt the first time you get your eyebrows waxed or is it like a split-second pain kind of thing? I really want some information before i go crying when they do it. (lol) And also on a scale from 1 to 10 how bad does it hurt? And again give me soothing words so i can get through this because... well... I HATE PAIN! WE DON'T GET ALONG TOGETHER..... sorry i'm just super terrified.

Does it hurt getting your eyebrows waxed for the first time?

it's not an ideal feeling, but it's nothing terrible.
it'll sting a little, but they can give you something to make the stinging stop. but it's not bad to begin with.
and it doesn't last very long.
i was extremely nervous the first time i got mine done, but once it was over...i was totally fine!
just remember:
if you're nervous, you're causing tension in your body, which will cause it to hurt more.
if you try your best to stay relaxed and keep the muscles relaxed, it'll be nothing.

so don't stress, it's really not bad at all! <3
hope this helped! :)

What hurts more? Brazilian waxing for the first time or sex for the first time?

I just got my brazilian waxing done for the first time and OMG it hurt like hell. I cant even properly walk because it hurts when the skin rubs or even if i touch it. I have pjs on and I cant even think about wearing jeans right now because it would burn.

Just wondering if sex for the first time hurts as bad or more. What is the pain level like compared to waxing. Thankyou for your answers in advance

Chest waxing - how much does it hurt the second time around?

Ok... so i'm not a guy so i obviously don't get my chest waxed! However..... I do get a brazilian done every 4-5 weeks so I think I can talk to you about pain thresholds! The first time was about a 12 for me to!

Anyway, with all that said if your chest hair was all natural when you went I am not suprised that it hurt so much!

Every time you go back it will get easier every time but if there is one thing you must do is not leave it to long before your next visit back otherwise it will be like starting al over again! The second time will probably be a 9-10 then less again the third time round.

Stick with it and you'll be fine! Oh, and by the way.... a waxed chest is super sexy!

How much does waxing your legs and arms hurt?

It is hard to say how much it hurts to wax your arms and legs. The level of pain depends on a lot of factors:How coarse you hair is: For thick hair, it is going to be a lot more painful. How hairy you are: If you have a lot of hair, then it going to be more painful, because the process of waxing might have to be repeated multiple times in the same area to get all the hair out.How is your pain tolerance: If you have low tolerance, it is going to hurt like hell.Remember: Waxing is not permanent and most likely you are going to need it again in a month. So, it is more of a recurring sort of pain. What type of wax you use: Waxing strips like Veet are relatively less painful than regular wax. But the strips are a complete waste if you have thick hair.

What does a first-time bikini wax feel like?

It's going to feel about like you would think ripping all the hair out from the root would feel. Yes, it will be painful, to an extent. It will hurt in the split second it takes them to pull of the wax, but the worst part (for me anyway) is the waiting. After they apply the wax, I know they're about to pull it off, and I tense up. I've probably had this wax done at least 9 times, and I still tense up, but it is much less painful now. The thing to remember is that your hair root will always grow back smaller with waxing, so each visit is easier than the last. If you have been shaving the bikini area, the roots have been growing back larger, and so it will take longer for them to come back small enough that it isn't bothersome. The larger the hair root, the worse it hurts to pull it out. Another thing to make sure of is that you are hydrated. Drink plenty of water beforehand, and your follicles will thank you. You can also take an Advil or ibuprofen beforehand, but don't use numbing cream, that just make everything more difficult.
