Does it hurt to get your upper lip waxed?
I was electrocuted on my lips when I was five. Because of the scar that it left, my hair grows funny in this area. As a result I starting using cremes to have it removed. They left my skin bright red and burnt for several days. I gave up on this, then starting having it waxed. The first time I did it, it did not hurt at all. If the technician uses lotion before the wax it does not hurt. Also if it does hurt, go see someone else. Ask others and get recommendations. Check the beauty shops, that is usually the best place to get it done or an american nail shop......

Do pedicures hurt?
Congratulations! We're in the same boat, I'm getting married this weekend so I went to get a manicure and pedicure, too. You just have to go to someone who knows what they're doing. Ask around for recommendations. Pedicures shouldn't hurt unless you have existing foot conditions. The only other times you might feel some discomfort are when the pedicurist clips away dead cuticles (you shouldn't feel this at all unless they accidentally clip skin), and uses a pumice stone or something similar to slough away rough dead skin on the heel. But afterwards they give you a foot massage and it feels great! Pedicures are definitely worth it! Just go somewhere that has a good reputation. Congrats again!
Do words hurt?
trini, um how to say this... wtf, so words only hurt women, that's even more messed up then the genral concept that words hurt at all. Get beat up, infront of someone who loves you, you've got physical pain to go ontop of all that emotion and mental your trying to pass off.

Do Girls WANT To Get Hurt?
I would love a nice guy but sadly nice guys aren't much fun. What girl doesn't want a bad boy/player that only she can tame but that usually that doesn't happen. Wisdom teeth extraction while awake, does it hurt?
Dude there are some scary answers here! Don't worry, you will be fine!!! I've had oral surgery a couple of times, and I haven' been asleep for one yet! It's quite interesting (for me personally) to be aware of what's going on, and I can cooperate with positioning if I am awake. I know you don't have extra cash, but getting nitrous oxide is only like 20 bucks at my DDS's practice. Since you are scared about the procedure, I would reccomend asking about that. It will make you not really care about what's going on in your mouth. Getting your 3rd molars out shouldn't hurt at all. You will recieve a local anesthetic, which is injected into your loose cheeck tissue to get a block of feeling from your jaw out. My general DDS is awesome about his injections and I seriously can't even feel them when I try to. My Perio injects more rapidly and I can feel it, but it still isn't all that bad. It's over with so quick, and then you are numb and shouldn't care! If you are in any discomfort during the surgery, just raise your hand and your DDS can re-inject you. Since you are nervous, talk to your dental assistant and have her help you out. She can be SO MUCH HELP!! she will be sitting with you 100% of the time you are on nitrous, and can reassure you if you need it. Getting your wisdom teeth out isn't a very loud procedure. I've had quite a few dental treatments of all different kinds, and wisdom teeth removal was one of the quieter ones. So don't worry about that much, just bring your ipod and listen to that. Yup, basically just relax and talk to your dental assistant to help you get through it. you'll do just fine!! The procedure sounds scary but is really pretty tame, and is probably the oral surgery most performed in the world.
