Does Your Pork Chiken Beef Taste A Bit Funky As Of 2008

Can dogs eat old chicken?

Once again I will disagree with most here. Of course, this depends on your definition of old, but to most humans, if food tastes a bit off we won’t eat it. The nicer you have treated (coddled) your stomach, the more likely you will get sick. If you are used to eating food that is turning, your body adjusts and you don’t get sick often if ever.Dogs have much hardier stomachs than humans do. One of the reasons for it is listed here :UCSB Science LineBut I will paraphrase for you if you are too lazy to click. Dogs have stomach acid which is 10 times stronger than humans, and they also have a shorter intestine, which means less chance to get sick from salmonella or e. coli. So if as a person something tastes a bit off, chances are your dog will happily eat it and not even notice.Does this mean you should give your dog 6 week old rotting chicken covered in mold? No, it does not. But dogs are not people, you do not have to worry about what they eat nearly as much. My two dogs who are now 13 eat tons of food that is turning, and these dogs almost never ever get sick from food, unless I start feeding them dog food.

How will I know if I ate chicken that was too raw?

Years late, but I'll add my input.Uncooked chicken tends to have a weird tough texture. Chicken, when sliced, consists of long, thin strands. And if the chicken you just consumed did not have that ‘natural' texture of an easily-pierced, strand-y piece of chicken, then it is definitely under-cooked.Also, feel the inside and sense its temperature. Usually, it will be slightly colder in the inside.I have eaten chicken as a main dinner dish for the past 3-4 weeks, and what I always do to check its safety for consumption is:Slice it open while it is cooking (if I'm frying) and ensure that the inside part gets exposed to the heat.Feel the inside of the chicken and check its temperature.Feel the texture of the chickenSense and look for warm, easily pierced, thin strands of chicken meat.See how easily pierced the chicken is.Look out for pink/red areas of the chicken.Check how brown the chicken is.

Does packaged sausage, like Jimmy Dean sausage, stay good past the expiration date? If so, then how long?

How long past the date depends on storage conditions. Stating an exact time based on limited information could be deadly. For a refrigerated item, “I” have looked at, smelled and so forth items about 14 days past date and determined that they are edible. Other times, BEFORE that date my senses have said ‘probably NOT safe to eat’ and I have therefore in the interests of my health thrown that item out.

Why does pork occasionally taste like urine?

If the pork you ate tasted like urine then it probably was butchered improperly. The meat could have also been contaminated or any other list of being improperly frozen and stored away.

What's so bad about a McDonald's burger? I was told they were kept for years and then sold.

I think what Jamie Oliver said says it all -Basically, we‘re taking a product that would be sold in the cheapest way for dogs, and after this process, is being given to human beings.”The bulk of McDonald's beef is minced meat and sinew processed and washed with ammonium hydroxide in a process called pink slime.   Even McDonald's recently  accepted thst they would discontinue ammonium hydroxide treated beef. God knows what happens with chicken. .Add this with MSG in seasonings. Dehydrated onions basically nothing fresh, potassium sorbate In pickle slices. And buns for them to store for long periods 28 odd .At the end of the McDonald's main business is real estate own prime pockets of land in upscale localities. Franchise just adds a meagre chunk of income and why would they bother with fresh ingredients if they can provide this at at price!A little idea of what goes in a chicken nugget if you thought it was a lot of chicken this should disappoint you http://www.rense.com/general76/c...
