Dont You Think Its A Bit Of A Coincidence

Dont you think its a coincidence that jesus was a carpenter and he got nailed to two planks of wood?

Jesus is nothing more than a character in a fairy tale, an amalgamation of many much older myths.

Do you think it's a coincidence?

20 years ago we were watching the Egyptian TV, which was relatively entertaining. Now, we seldom watch it and on the other hand there are selected "free" channels that is broadcasted to be available in every home, channels of American movies, programs, shows, etc..
that's besides the tons of "religious" channels, the rotana and art channels which broadcast "our" sold Egyptian heritage of old movies!
...
i do believe that all these issues are not coincidences, and the "affected" or possible "targets" are the new generations, my kid and yours and the people who are deliberately kept uninformed about many facts..

P.S.:
I m not criticizing or implying about different values ..i m just saying that "others" do hold the "microphone" and it surely could be used for "others" good use, if necessary..

Do you have any opinion about that?

Do you think life is a coincidence?

Considering that nobody described what I believe in I had to respond. Yes, life and everything that happens in it is most likely a coincidence, governed by certain laws. It's a coincidence in a sense that none of this had to be the way it is. Life could have just as well not existed. The person with your DNA or with my DNA could have not existed. If it didn't we wouldn't know, we wouldn't be aware of it. We get to exist and therefore we are the lucky once.Humans are patern seeking animals. Evolutionary speaking the onces that could spot paterns survived. You would not die if you mistaken a moving bush for a tiger, and ran away, however if you didn't think there is patern there and didn't run away, you would die. As a result we see paterns even where there are non.By ‘governed by laws’ I am refering to laws of physics and laws of society. In order for an individual in a society to prosper, good deeds were rewarded. We all face bad moments in life and in those bad moments humans generally tend to help each other, in the expectation that when they are down you will help them. The reward system is not perfect but it works. Therefore the genetal randomes of life is nothing to be scared of. Be a good person, work hard and smart, help people when in need, one random event or two will hapen, you might intetptet it as destiny but it really is luck, and you will be successful. :)

Do you think it is a miracle or a coincidence that you are alive right now?

I don’t like these choice questions. Being alive right now is fate (but in a good way).I have heard that coincidence is God’s way of hiding. Since I am not into standard religions, I make up my own word for God depending on the situation (Pantheism). Coincidences are through the power of Hermès, The Trickster. This trickster has many names depending on your culture. For Christians God is laughing at this game we play. He made this world for his pleasure, so it’s all good. Everybody is forgiven for their part in his creation. There is nothing serious going on here. Just a number of tests, and everybody passes. Get away from the tests you don’t like and find those you do. It’s your choice. If miracle means something we don’t understand, then I choose miracle. But, I also believe in reincarnation since according to physics energy is conserved. Besides, there is nowhere for us to go.Coincidence also means “we really don’t know why”. How can the universe be mechanical when we are not? Are we some kind of weird anomaly? How is that? DNA itself is mechanical, so are our features, so is our brain structure. Then there is a magical conversion from mechanical to sentient. Maybe it’s the philosophers stone. :-) I suppose the coincidence people live in a world of continual accidents. That just seems weird to me. However, to each his own. I suppose that we could imagine the way a tree grows is a coincidence deep down; I can see a tree in many more ways than that. Again, resorting to deities of my choice. This is my reality after all. We each create our own realities, that’s our choice. To have choice must be a miracle!Cheers

Why don't we like random events? Why do we seek coincidence in everything?

Any movement, no matter how small is eventually felt by us all.According to the laws of physics energy and matter cannot be created or destroyed. Your thoughts are energy. Therefore your thoughts can never be destroyed.Your thoughts are immortal.Have you noticed that when you are ready to receive something you normally do? Have you ever had a perfect day, where everything went just right? People and things just appeared at exactly the right moment? That’s synchronicity. If you arrived a few seconds earlier or later things would not have turned out the same. Timing was everything. You were in the right place at the right time. It wasn’t luck or chance. You seemed to be in perfect harmony with your surroundings. When your vibration matches that which you seek you are destined to collide.Intensity is the Key to your DestinySynchronicity is a mirror and whatever you believe will be reflected back at you. Most of the knowledge from your subconscious mind can never be passed to your conscious mind because it is too vast.We have a very limited understanding of coincidence. Science says if something cannot be quantified or calculated then it is not true. This is called “The Experimental Method”. But science cannot explain everything. Your mind sees beyond the five senses of sight, smell, hearing, taste and touch. Your mind is free to travel anywhere across time and space. Have you ever had an unbelievable chance meeting? Bumped into someone in a very unusual place? When something like this happens most of us call it luck, chance or coincidence.

How many coincidences can happen until it's considered fate?

Despite how many people are against it, people generally tolerate the concept of fate or destiny.

They tend to believe that some things are by coincidence and some are destiny and use a filter to distinguish the two.

IF it is life altering and molded you to become who you are or created a big change in your life it's Destiny. If it doesn't, it was just a coincidence.

But this is, of course, very ridiculous if you think about it.

Why don’t you believe in coincidences?

I don’t, at least not in the way most people mean “coincidence” (co + incidence) simply means two things happening at the same time. Of course, that’s just denotatively, since the main use of it is the connotation of “unexpectedly, even inexplicably.” This latter interpretation is misguided — there’s no such thing as this meaningful type of coincidence —for two reasons:Human beings are the ones who assign meaning to some two events or situations occurring at the same time or place, or happening at different times or places but “linked” somehow that is surprising or perplexing. But there is no meaning in the juxtaposition of two events in whatever way one considers them juxtaposed. As they say, it simply is what it is. We see it as spooky or weird or cool or inspiring or whatever, but that is something we ascribe to it. So, in this case, we should really ask, “Why is that people do believe in coincidences?” That is a case for psychology, not metaphysics.Although quantum philosophers such as David Wallace are working hard on the problem, even when we know the what of probability, we still don’t know the why. This video on YouTube shows why this is so, and suggests what we might do about it: The Nature of Probability & The Many-Worlds Interpretation.Anyway, since we don’t fully understand the nature of probability — is it a brute fact of the universe or are its secrets revealable? — we can’t really say much about the nature of “coincidence” outside of it being a psychological phenomenon. We also don’t know whether we live in a quantum and/or physical multiverse or not; if we do live in one, then everything that can happen will happen, possibly an infinite number of times. So every combination of things that are possible, even the most astounding, almost absurd, coincidences must happen somewhere. So why not in the universe we inhabit?I should say that I am as struck and awed by coincidences as much as anyone else, and whenever I whopper of a coincidence occurs in my life, I feel that I’ve encountered a strange, unseen secret of the universe. I love it! But I think it’s that they’re pretty much an artifact of our having evolved to see patterns in everything that’s really responsible for those feelings.
