The same is true for IUT, DU, KUET, SUST etc. These companies also hire from those institutions.So if you want to feel special because you are a BUETian, please don’t. Getting admitted in BUET is not the ultimate success in life. Also Google is not the epitome of success. Google’s hiring bar was really high at some point, like 2005–2007. Now they would hire anyone and everyone if you can pass their interview, which is not very hard BTW. Few weeks of practice and you can nail the lower order SDE positions. Getting into senior engineer position requires a new set of skills that you cannot get by reading interview books.The same is true for Facebook. Getting into these companies is not that hard, nor they define you will be satisfied once you go there. Satisfaction in work depends on a lot of factors, name of the company is less than 5% of the whole equation. I can name a bunch of teams/positions in Google/FB that I will never get into.
