Who would win in a battle between Dr. Manhattan and Dr. Strange?
Dr. Manhattan is a god-like being. There are very few superheroes who can stand up to him. He can do almost anything he wishes for. He may very well be probably one of those superheroes who can give Superman a run for his money. He exists everywhere, time is nothing for him, be it past, present or future. He is the only being in the Watchmen universe who possesses powers. Some(or should I say, many) of his powers are :TeleportationSuper-genius intelligenceInvulnerabilityPerfect memoryExtrasensory and visual powersDimensional travelPrecognitionSelf-duplicationSelf-sustenanceTemporal and history manipulation.Super-Strength.Super-SpeedSuperhuman Stamina.Dr. Strange is one of the most powerful sorcerers in Marvel. He is a mere mortal who can stand up to the freaking Living Tribunal on a dare. He isn’t afraid of anybody, come at him, chances are you will go down hard. He performed surgery on Eternity who himself is equivalent to an universe. He stomped Galactus when Galactus was not fully-fed but still very potent. Whenever some shit happens that Avengers can’t beat, all eyes turn to him for the help. He is a master of Magic, all sorts of, he even has mastery over Black Magic. He can call upon other Magical beings to strengthen his magic. He has defeated the likes of Shuma Gorath, Dormammu( Lord Of Chaos), Dr. Doom, Thanos and Adam Warlock(who at the time had 4 Infinity stones in his possession).Strange actually has feats. Dr. Manhattan is powerful yes but enough to stand up to any of these guys? Not at all. Dr. M just has hollow statements in his defense. Strange keeps time, space and reality in his pocket.Feats>Statements.Dr. Strange would win everytime if these 2 ever fought. He’s called Sorcerer Supreme for a reason.
Could Dr. Strange defeat Superman?
Superman loses before he realizes that the fight has begun. In combat he rarely exceeds 8.7 c, and even when travelling in a straight line for months never even hit 3 digit billions c. Strange, on the other hand, has physically moved "faster than any living thing has moved before", which, given that Loki had a speed feat of at least 31.5 septillion c mere months before that feat, puts his speed at over 15 orders of magnitude higher than Superman has ever shown in the current continuity (he has various other Speed of Thought feats as well, so we know it's not an outlier). Strange also has pretty much unlimited hax that can defeat Superman without even bothering to deal direct damage, though he does have the dakka to win by such a brutish method as well.Even if we were to upgrade Superman to his most powerful incarnation, Cosmic Armour Superman, Strange could still win. By merging with Eternity, Strange has shown an ability to become infinite infinities more powerful than any Monitor except maybe the Primal Monitor. Strange has also stolen the powers of beings that are by definition more powerful than himself.
Who do you think would win in a fight between Green Lantern and Dr. Strange?
Although Green Lantern is WAY more powerful in terms of sheer brute force green energy constructs as big as planets- I would give this one to Dr. Strange.Hal Jordan is not a sorcerer. He is a strong willed man with the most powerful (magic) weapon in the universe. He knows nothing about magic other than how to use his magic ring.I think Dr. Strange, who has a long history of defeating way more powerful foes through subtle (dare I say surgical?) magical manipulation- would cut off the Ring from its power source - drain it- make it as if 24 hours had passed without recitation of the oath- and make Green Lantern a normal man in a funny green costume for long enough to do whatever needed to be done.
Whose superpowers are similar to Dr. Strange in the DC Universe?
Interestingly enough there is a character in the DC universe called Dr Hugo Strange.He is one of Batman’s villains and one of the first to learn the true identity of Batman. He is a mad scientist and overall not nice person… He has been across almost every media of Batman though including tv series and computer games although yet to feature in any of the Batman movies as far as I know…However I imagine you are probably asking who is the equivalent to the sorcerer supreme in DC rather than someone of the same name…I give you John Constantine.I bet you thought I was going to say Doctor Fate… Well the helm of Nabu is really more the hero than the person wearing it and I don’t think you can call a human imbued with the power of a god who then basically takes control of the human shell the sorcerer supreme, rather they are channeling vast powers not their own…However Constantine is the go to guy for all manner of magical mishaps… Sure he is hard to work with and has done more than a few questionable (read evil) things in his day, however he is more often than not on the side of good and if you stand back and look at his accomplishments then you would note he is pretty awesome.Added to which he has had a movie played by Keanu Reeves and also a television series although I don’t know why for the life of me it only ran for one season… He has also been in a few animated features specifically a Batman one recently where he teamed up with Etrigan the Demon, Deadman & Zatanna… It was called Justice League Dark.
