Dream About War And Tanks

Dreaming about fish in a broken fish tank?

These dreams, where you are rushing and well, spazing to fix something in a dire situation, usually represents the feeling you have of being out of control. You feel like you are out of order, and you feel you have no structure in your life. What you should do to combat this type of feeling is to create goals, or pick up new and interesting hobbies.

Have you ever dreamed you were in a war zone?

Yes, many times. I have never been in a true war zone, just in nightmares and they are bad nightmares. One recurring ‘war’ iS that aliens landed and they aren’t nice! Another one is that martial law has been enacted and the men in uniforms aren’t there to protect but to capture and torture…these dreams feel apocalyptic and usually upset me a whole lot even after I wake up. Or make me yell myself awake.I did notice these nightmares increased mightily after I’d been given the antidepressant ‘Effexor’- and I noticed they went away after I stopped ‘using’ that horrible drug which had other bad side effects aside from the nightly apocalypse.I have always been the nightmare queen-since early childhood and the last thing in the world I need is a drug that makes it worse. Now that I’m older my nightmares are more like an ongoing anxiety attack until I cry myself awake. Pathetic! But not necessarily a sign I’m mentally ill. Perhaps a little. Mostly just a bad dreamer.A2A

Do tanks still have a place in modern warfare?

Yes.But gone are the days of a tank rolling along all by itself (or themselves), being a nuisance to wayward infantry units as they go. As with every other aspect of a modern military force, a tank is only as good as the support it’s got behind (or above) it.You wouldn’t dream of sending tanks into a warzone without air support, for example. Tanks are vulnerable to air attacks, so you need air support or anti-air assets to accompany it or, ideally, complete air superiority.Likewise, you wouldn’t send a tank into an urban area without infantry support. Tanks are most vulnerable to infantry when they’re in urban environments, and the best counter to infantry in urban areas (at least, without committing war crimes) is more infantry. They can sweep buildings for potential threats, make sure nobody’s lurking on a rooftop with an armour-piercing rocket launcher, and deal with any threats that might pop up, while the tank hangs back and lends fire support from afar with its giant gun. The tank can also double as mobile cover to those same infantry that are supporting it, given that it is largely bulletproof. But a properly supported tank remains a significant threat/asset (depending on which side you’re on) on the battlefield. It’s all-but impervious to infantry that aren’t carrying the proper means to deal with it, and it’s still a huge threat even for those that are. Against other tanks, it remains the most effective ground-based weapon; if you’re a soldier, and you stumble upon an enemy tank around the corner, you’ll be glad to have a friendly Challenger 2 rolling up behind you. And for breaking enemy lines, you could do worse than use a 70-ton bulletproof death wagon.Tanks are a cog in the larger military machine. They have key strengths, but also key weaknesses. It’s like a game of rock, paper, scissors in a lot of ways. A well-rounded, modern military force will deploy a variety of different assets that can complement each other’s strengths and shield each other’s weaknesses. But at the end of the day, you still need ground forces when you’re trying to hold territory. You still need boots and tracks on the ground. And so far, nobody’s managed to come up with a more durable, powerful, or mobile ground vehicle than the main battle tank.

Dream about an Orange snake?

I had this dream last night that my room was some kind of multi-changing sort of zoo . . . I started diving (with some complete random for a buddy) in it looking at some awesome fish etc. and went past a green snake. we then got to the end of the tank as it were and then found we had to lie in the sand perfectly still as there was a deadly orange snake approaching us. The guy with me strangled it and we got away, the room then changing back to a sancturay with lots of leaves and trees around. The Orange snake appeared again, at which point we escaped the room. However when we went back in to search for it we found everytime we found it it would draaw close enough to stike and then dissapear, reapperaing else where a few minutes later.

what does this mean?

Why do i always have dreams of scary fish?

For about a year and a half i have been having really wierd dreams about fish. Not just any fish but scary unreal fish! I think the worst one was of me falling into this huge fish tank with a butt load of scary fish and i ended up getting out pretty quick but my question is why scary fish all the time?? Now i know people say when you dream of fish either you or someone you know is preggo......but not me or anyone i know ever is!!! Another type one dream i've had even longer is of my teeth. They either fall or rot or i tap um and they fall. If anyone knows why...i would be really interested in knowing.

What's the meaning of a dream in which I saved some 100′s of tiny vibrant fishes which jumped out of a tank, and my mom was watching me saving them?

Subconscious thinking (Dreams as they are referred to) surfaces on its own and no one can prompt them. Some ignore them and others wish to understand their true meaning. I do not know your background. If you are keen and serious, then you may consult an astrologer. However, my own perception is that someone in your family may have harmed ‘Aquatic life’ (those in water) either in this generation or earlier. This is just a hint that you may be presented an opportunity to rectify the same by saving a few such in the future.

What was the American Dream in the Great Gatsby?

The book tries to show that the American Dream is unachievable. The idea is that if you work hard enough you can have everything you want. The truth is that whenever you get that something you wanted you still aren't happy, so you think you need the next thing and so you go on and on always believing your so close.

Important characters for this theme are Myrtle, who thinks that if she marries Tom she will have everything she wants and be happy like Daisy.

Daisy and her Tom are also important. They represent what everyone in the lower class wants to be but when we look at them even with all there money and status they are deeply unhappy both cheating on each other.

Finally there is Gatsby. He is the epitome of the american dream, he starts from nothing, he works tirelessly and he gets everything he wants, he is rich, famous and even has an affair with Daisy, is he happy? No. He won;t be satisfied til she says she never loved Tom and disowns her child. And if he gets that you can be sure there will be one more thing he needs.

In the end everyone who tries to better themselves, Gatsby, Myrtle with her affair and Wilson who does business with Tom dies and Tom and Daisy who caused all the problems are left unscathed.

how was that?

Dreams about monster fish?

I have reoccurring dreams that happen super frequently, at least once a week. I love fish and aquariums, so the dream usually starts out with me getting a really big, really unique aquarium and filling it with exotic or fantasy fish (some of the made-up fish I've dreamed about are betta/goldfish hybrids, fish that look like mini dragons, or sea horses that look like actual horses.) All is good for awhile and then I always add some sort of huge, ugly monster fish or aquatic creature (I've dreamed about adding bullfrogs and snakes as well) and the monster fish always kill and eat my beautiful fish! Sometimes the dream ends with the fish just dying on their own or getting overcrowded and dying instead of getting eaten. I have this dream so often and it always disturbs me. Does anyone have an idea of what it may mean?
