How do I get rid of my droopy eyelid?

It's most likely the way you were born and no you can't change it (unless you had plastic surgery) but there are a few things I know of that can help:

1) Massage: If you gently massage the area around your eyes every morning, it can help get rid of excess fluid that causes the swelling.

2) Ice: or cold in general is really good for your skin. It stimulate blood flow and tightens the skin. Also helps your face look "smaller" and less swollen. I would recommend doing an ice treatment everyday after you massage. Just be careful not to do it for too long. Don't to it til your face is numb.

2) Eye Tape: An unusual way to get your desired eye shape may be using eye tape. This is very popular amongst Asians who desire the "double eyelid" look. With a little practice, you might be able to get it to work to your favor. If you google "eyelid tape" you should be able to find it.

Also make sure you keep your eye area moisturized. The skin around your eyes is thin and has very few oil glands so you should always keep it moisturized to prevent wrinkles. Read the labels, though, don't use anything that says "keep away from eye area".

Droopy face and numbness of face left side?

Sounds like Bell's Palsy. It could be something more serious like stroke but more likely Bells if you have no other symptoms. Could also be an inflammation of the cranial nerves due to a neck problem (usually). But if it is Bells they can treat it if you get to the Dr. quickly It can do permanent damage untreated.

Why does one side of my face droop?

There are 9 conditions associated with drooping eyelid and drooping of one side of face:* Transient ischemic attack (mini-stroke) ~ Transient ischemic attacks cause headache, numbness, tingling, or weakness in the face, arm, or leg, and more.* Stroke~ A stroke occurs when blood and oxygen to the brain are cut off, and causes numbness, confusion, and more.* Botulinum toxin (Botox) injection ~ Botulinum toxin side effects may include pain and tenderness at the injection site, headache, nausea and more.* Bells palsy ~ Bell's palsy causes muscle weakness or paralysis in some facial muscles on one side of the face.* Lazy eye ~ Lazy eye occurs when the brain favors one eye over the other.* Lyme disease ~ Lyme disease is a bacterial infection spread through tick bites; symptoms include rash, fever chills, and more.* Myasthenia gravis ~ Myasthenia gravis is caused by abnormal immune responses that weaken muscles, particularly of the face.* Horner's syndrome ~ Horner's syndrome is a rare condition that can cause a drooping eyelid, decreased sweating, and a small pupil.* Floppy eyelid syndrome ~ With floppy eyelid syndrome one or both upper eyelids become droopy, rubbery, and flip inside out easily.

Droopy eye, help please!!!?

I feel your pain ! Same thing happened to me over six months ago, and I was so freaked out. I've been doing face exercise for a few weeks now and my eyes seem to open again :

Close your eyes, put the tip of your fingers just above the lashes, press gently but firmly and hold the lids closed with your fingers while trying to open your eyes ( without looking up !! ) ; hold for six seconds then release. Do it five times once a day, five days a week ( it's very important to let your muscles rest two days a week, if you don't the sag might worsen ! ), this will give a nice work out to the muscles that open the eyes. If you feel uncomfortable with the postition of the fingers, try to hold your eyelids with the sides of your pointer fingers if that makes sense. When your muscles get used to the working out, you can move your way up to ten repetitions of the exercise a day !

This fixes the openness of the eyes but not the droopy eyelids ; to fix that you'd need to gain control of your occipitalis muscles and exercise them, they're at the back of your head at the top ears level, and when they're contracted they pull the whole scalp up and back, which lifts the eyebrows and eyelids !

Apart from that, you should really go and see a doctor, maybe it's a matter of health !

How do I treat ear numbness?

If the pressure is the reason behind your Numbness, Massage your ear with a considerably warm oil twice a day. This would have happened due to insufficient blood supply to your ears.If the condition persists still, you may have to be alert about the upcoming further symptoms such as numbness of that particular side of the face or inability to eat or talk, or eyelids drooping. These may also be due to some sort of compression on your nerves which may further lead to Bell’s Palsy or Facial Paralysis.Consult a neurologist immediately if you find more symptoms.

Face droopy on right side?

A number of things can cause that. Bells palsy is usually temporary if that is what it is. Or sometimes, it is a nerve that got compressed somehow, which could take weeks to years to get better. There are treatments. My dad had the nerve problem. Never knew how it got compressed. Extremely obvious droop, but over a couple of years is not very noticeable. And my younger sister has had Bells Palsy and that lasted a few weeks. More than likely it is one of these two things.

Terrified now - Left side of face has slight tinglng and numbness.?

Hi, for the past 2 weeks I have ben experience a light tingling or slight numbness in the left side of my face - mostly when i smile or wrinkle my nose or make a face. There are no other syptoms (I feel fine - same as always otherwise) and all my facial parts still work fine it just feels a little funny. Im 32 a non smoker - average weight and eat fairly healthy and excercise. I wasnt too concerned til I earlier asked and people were telling me to rush to emergency I was taking a stroke.
How serious is this should I got to the hospital after work? I dont have a history of health problems - and my blood pressure was normal when I checked a few months ago. Would I be taking a risk just going to a regular doctor or should I rush to hospital? Could I have been having a stroke for 2 weeks straight?

How much would a droopy eyelid plastic surgery cost in India?

Hi,The cost of eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty in India is approximately USD 1,500.Eyelid surgery reduces bagginess from lower eyelids and removes excess skin from the upper eyelids. This surgery is usually done for aesthetic reasons.
