I got hair bleach all over my hands now they're white and spotty, what do i do?
Wash them in cold soapy water and moisturize. They will be fine. Its a bleach burn and it happens when you don't wear gloves.
Help please! hair problem! What are these tiny white dots in my hair?
For like the last month I've noticed little white dots in my hair. I want to know what it is. I've read about lice and I'm really paranoid because I have no clue what it's is. Wouldn't my head be itchy? It doesn't itch at all. I also read if it were the eggs that they're very hard to pick out. These dots I can just pinch and take them out with out a struggle. I don't think it's dandruff because I don't have flaking. Most of The dots are closer to my roots but not right against my scalp. I also noticed my hairs been getting more tangled than usual. I have naturally curly hair so it's usually somewhat hard to brush through. I used to straighten my hair a few times a week up until a week or two ago and I wouldn't wash it for a day or 2. I think I have oily scalp or hair. It gets greasy really fast. I don't really due my hair. In the last 6 years I've dyed my hair probably 6 times, most recently about a month and a half ago. In November I used a chemical straightener from walmart. I also use alot of mousse Nd hairspray in my hair almost very day. I used to get the white stuff from the hairspray drying, but I know it's not that. What could this be? I'm freaking out and feel so gross. I read something about plugs I believe they were called. Not sure if this could be it. And if I've had this problem for a month, I sleep with my boyfriend very night so if it were to be lice he would have it too. Which he doesn't. So would that rule out lice? Help me please :(
White dots in hair (not dandruff)?
i was just looking at my hair, and i saw at the ends that there are these little white dots on the tips of the end of my hair. Its not dandruff because I wash my hair every 2 days and I use T/Gel on my scalp because I have psoriasis. Is this a result from flat ironing my hair? Or is this split ends and all I have to do is cut it?
Dry white patches on scalp?
Ok my husband has been getting white circular, flaky patches on his scalp and the top of his sideburns. He used to have his hair shoulder length and I though it was just dandruff. But after he got a close hair cut, I see dry white patches on his scalp. When he scratchs them they flake up. He says they don't itch or anything, but some of the flakes are thick and big. He has used Neutrogena's T-Gel Shampoo, Selsun Blue, Head and Shoulders, and Sulfur 8...none of these work. The T -Gel works a little bit but we need something stronger before we go to the doctor...So does anyone have any clue what's going on or what I can put on his scalp??
White dots in hair but not lice or dandruff?
I've had this problem for over half a year. I think it started when I started using a mass amount of dove hair gel when I had long hair and I used really hot water for washing my hair. The tiny dots sometimes fall onto my collar if I have on a dark shirt and when i shake my head, these little dots came falling out like snow. I've done this several times when determining what I had. It's easily removed by just slide my fingers light on my hair and disappears when I ruffle my hair. I've tried T-GEL, head and shoulders and even did a treatment for lice but nothing helped. I tried mayo and coconut oil but still nothing helped. Right now I am using Clear's shampoo and conditioner for moisturizing scalp and also have aussie's moist shampoo and 3 minute miracle but not really helping. When I wash my hair afterwards, there are some white dots but not as many. I go to sleep and wake up the next morning and my hair is covered with these white dots again until I wash my hair again.... The white dots are sometimes further away from my scalp and sometimes I find them close to the scalp like a few inches away. but they disappear when I dust my hair with my hand. What in the world do I have?

18 weeks pregnant and seeing white spots... what could it be?
I am a little over 18 weeks pregnant. This morning after I got out of the shower... I started seeing bright white spots... I thought that maybe it was because I swung my head too quickly when I bent down to dry my hair. They disappeared... but a few minutes ago I started to see a few white spots that were dull... barely noticeable. I don't think that I have preeclampsia... I have actually lost weight during my pregnancy... but I am afraid that it could be something serious. Has anybody else had this before?
