Dry Itchy Eyelids For 2 Months

How can I get rid of a "triple eyelid" that has been there for months now?

:D
that happens to me all the time
every 2 months.
i have a double eyelid naturally,
then i get an extra one IT LOOKS SO WEIRD!!
it usually happens when my skin is reallly
dry ....
put moisturizer on it i guess
not sure because mine is like that now and it still
wont go back.
sometimes it just goes back o.O
try crying again, or moisturizer, do it to the other
one by using an eyelid glue tool thingy

My eyelid is swollen and itchy for the second time this month? both times after the beach? HELP?

the first time was two weeks ago. i went to the beach, came home took a nap, woke up blew my nose and suddenly my eyelid was swollen. i went to 3 doctors and an eye doctor and they suggested maybe i blew my nose too hard and the nerve got inflamed and it's not that serious. it went down 3 days later.

but yesterday i went to the beach, came home took a nap and when i woke up.. my eyelid was swollen, itchy, and tearing like crazy!!! i didn't blow my nose this time, and now i realized last time maybe it wasn't becaue i blew my nose, but maybe the beach?!

1) I DIDN'T WEAR SUNBLOCK. I wore a tanning lotion spf 4 only.
2) I DON'T GET SUNBURNT. EVER. I get tan. I'm lucky.
3) I go tanning in my backyard! My eyelids are exposed to the sun in my backyard all the time and my eyelids never get swollen.
4) I go to the beach mulitple times every summer. This never happened to me before. This is new.
5) No doctors know what this is and blame it on allergies, which I don't have.

Red dry skin on my eyelid. What is this and what can I do about it?

For the past month the skin on one of my eyelids is really red and dry. I know it's gross, but it's kinda flaky. I can't wear make up anymore, because it looks horrible. I'm 24 and have never had this before, nor do I have it anywhere else on my body. I've tried putting lotion on it regularly, but it just won't go away. Has anyone ever had this before, or can anyone give me any suggestions on how to get rid of it?

My eyelids and skin around my mouth are itchy!! HELP!!!!1?

Hi. I have had this rash around my mouth and eyelid for about 2 months now.
The rash has spread to my other eyelid and upper lip(and I think my chin too).
There are no bumps, it's just red, irritated, and itchy.
My mom thinks that I am having some type of allergic reaction, but I'm not sure.
I know that it's not my makeup or facial cleaning products because I have changed them and
my skin still feels ITCHY! PLEASE HELP!

I don't know if stress could be causing the rash. I am going to finish my first semester of college, which was REALLY stressful and hard =/ (I have never had this problem until I entered college).

Why is Proactiv only irritating my eyelids?

are you sure its the proactive? proactive is a very harsh system to use, it can really dry out your skin and eyes should be avoided. but your eyelid condition maybe due to something else. make sure you wash your eyes after you use the product. and if this continues then consult your doctor or optometrist.

i also recommend you to make an appt. with a dermatologist and get appropriate products for your individual skin type

good luck!!

How can I treat eczema on my eyelids?

The eyelids don't have oil glands, so they are more susceptible to eczema than just about any other area of the skin.Eyelid eczema presents as red, scaling, thickened patches of skin with increased wrinkling or folds.  There are a few other things that can look like eyelid eczema, such as an allergic contact dermatitis.  The most common allergic contact dermatitis is to nail polish.  That happens because people tend to rub or scratch their eyelids with the fingernails. There are a number of treatments for eyelid eczema.  Topical steroids can be used for several days if the person does not have a history of glaucoma.  Eyelid skin is very thin and steroids are absorbed readily and can increase intraocular pressure leading to glaucoma.  This should only be done under the supervision of a dermatologist.Protopic, a non-steroid eczema ointment, as mentioned in one of the answers is a great treatment for eyelid eczema with another precaution.  Protopic lowers the skin's resistance to sun damage.  So Protopic should not be used on sun exposed skin. Most importantly, the area has to be cleansed with a gentle, preferably non-soap cleanser like Dove for Sensitive Skin or CeraVe cleanser, then a thin coat of petroleum jelly applied to the area.  That tends to improve the skin. Also, if you wear nail polish, discontinuing the use to see if eczema improves is a quick way to see if there is a contact allergy.

Why is my mosquito bite still itching after 2 months?

I don't think it's a mosquito bite. It could be other things such as sand flies which I had few years ago and it itched like mad and even with medication they itched for months. You should check the doctors and they'll give you some medications to soothe the itch. It doesn't look like a mosquito bite to me. Hope that helps :)

White bump inside eyelid?

its a Sty, an acute infection of the secretory glands of the eyelids

it'll go away in a couple days, don't pop it or it'll just get more infected and you'll need to go to the doctor
