Easiest Way To Break Your Wrist

How to break your wrist FAST!!?

Ways to break your wrist?
I am not mental. Just to clear that up!

Not bad enough for a bone to break through your skin.
Just a cast...
I am not going to hit it with a hammer or something stupid that will obviously alarm any doctor with a qualification!
Fast, easy (I don't care about the pain)

If falling down the stairs: what step to jump from or "fall" from?
If jumping off something: how high?

Serious question. And don't bother trying to talk me out of it because I will do it anyway:)

What is the easiest way to break a bone?

This is from my personal experience, as I have broken all of these but my leg.

Easiest bone = Any finger or toe.
Wrist= Fall down *hard* on it, with a majority of your body weight being supported on it.
Foot = I dropped something on it. Terrible really, it was an Easel.
Leg = I've never broken a bone, but my best friend landed on his feet from a 10 foot drop and broke both of his legs
Ankle = Falling down and shattering the bone on cement. Lovely really, hurt like hell.
Arm = Again, land on it with a majority of your body weight on it without proper balance. I fell backwards out of an above ground pool, and broke my arm this way.
Collar bone= play any sport. I was smashed into another player in soccer, and I broke my collarbone. It sucked, don't ever do it.

I did have my ankle re-broken by a doctor once. However, I was passed out and he merely said that he "just re-broke it". Lame answers, I know.
Most bones are broken because there is not any proper weight distribution on it, and smashing always, *always* helps.

How can you break your arm or wrist?

Oh, all kinds of ways I suppose. I know of a guy who got his arm broken by making a bet with my brother-in-law. His name is Horse. He’s an American Indian, and a hunter, so he drives a high clearance, 4 wheel drive pick-up truck. One night he was drinking beer in a gathering of friends and acquaintances. Some guy starts doing Judo throws, and Horse said, “Damn, it looks a little hard to be thrown to the ground like that.” Judo boy said his lawn is a thick mat of crab grass and it absorbs impact better than gym mats.Horse laughed in the guy’s face. He said, “Oh, c’mon! That grass isn’t anything like a gym mat!” Judo boy got mad and and made this outrageous claim, “This grass has so much give, that I could lay on it, and you could drive a truck over my arm and nothing would happen.”Horse said, “I got $50 that says your arm will break, and that’s my truck right over there.” Horse would later explain that he only made that bet to force the Judo warrior to back down. But, to his surprise, the guy put up $50 and got into position on the grass, on his back, arms outstretched.Horse drove up over the curb, then carefully followed the hand signals of spotters to line-up one of his tires with one of the kid’s arms. They gave him a count-down, and he let out the clutch smooth and easy. As the tire rolled over the arm, they say a loud *pOp* could be heard a block away.Horse jumped out of his truck to help render aide. They got Judo boy in a padded sling. He was waiting for his mom to come drive him to the hospital when Horse collected his $100 from the fellow who was holding it. He looked down at the defeated Judo fighter and said, “I kinda feel bad messing you up like that and then taking your money, too.”One of the by-standers said, “You don’t have to take his money.” To which Horse replied, “Well, I don’t feel that bad. Besides, you all saw it, that was an honest bet, fare and square. Under the circumstances, givin’ him his money back would be wrong. Down-right un-Christian. But I do feel bad about it.”

How can you break your wrist while at home?

I hope you mean under what circumstances could you accidentally break your wrist at home.Given the above, I will tell how I broke mine,  accidentally.I was in my basement changing some light bulbs and I was standing on a wooden chair to do so.  I changed one bulb and moved the chair to replace the second, what I did not notice was that one leg of the chair was sitting on a thick extension cord.  I stood on the chair and as I got both of my arms above my head to remove the bulb, the chair shifted an in a flash I slammed face first into the concrete floor.i got my left hand down and my right forearm out in front to try to absorb the force of the fall, but I still slammed my forehead into floor. The damage: I snapped my left wrist in two.  It swelled up immediately, in addition I broke my right elbow.Painful as hell to say the least. I went to the ER got an X-ray, and then the bone Doctor came to read the x-ray.  He said my wrist broke in such away that if he set it then that there would be a very noticeable curve in my forearm. He said surgery could be done to insert some pins in an attempt to straighten it out, but the outcome was not guaranteed. Not wanting surgery and being the poor bastard I am, I told him to just set it.The aftermath:  I had a caste up to my elbow on the left arm and my right arm was in a sling.  The wrist stop hurting in a day or so, the elbow hurt like hell for weeks.  I could not drive so I had to get a ride to work everyday for a few weeks.  Most dreaded was when I had to take a dump, I was damned if I was going have some wipe my ass, so I moved my elbow as far as I could in order to wipe myself..  I would come out of the can soaked in sweat due the pain I had to endure in order to wipe my ass.To sum it up, the whole situation was a true pain and inconvenience to me and others.  Practice safety whenever you stand on a chair or ladder or whatever.  Plus in cost money I didn't need to spend.

What is the easiest way to break your arm with the least amount of pain?

Thanks for your answers. I know it sounds really crazy. My friend insisted I ask. She plays a sport for our college, through which she gets an education scholarship. Without this scholarship, she wouldn't be able to afford this school. Unfortunately though, she no longer wants to play, but she fears she'll have to leave the school. So she wanted to know how to sustain an injury that would force her not to play anymore. But not something as crucial as her legs.

She may be crazy, but we were just wondering...

Easy ways to break your finger/wrist?

Pulling it would just disclocate it.

Falling is probably the most common way to hurt your hand area because that's what you use to save the more important parts of your body, like you're head. Biking, rollerblading, skate boarding, basically anything with wheels, ice skating, ....walking.

and fingers are often broken in house doors, car doors, car trunks.

if you're talking about just sitting there and breaking a bone, I would say the wrist would be extremely hard, but you could bend your finger sideways , the unnatural path of motion. Yea any extreme movement/bending that's not supposed to happen could break it.

Hope that helped!

How can I break my wrist on purpose? Don’t ask why, but I need to know. A serious answer would be very helpful.

Extend your arm to its fullest extent and then tell someone to hit your wrist as hard as they can with a 2 x 4. Wrap the 2 x 4 slightly so that it won’t rip your skin, but still be solid enough to snap your wrist.PD: The things I sometimes answer in Quora simply amaze me!PPD: Hit the wrist on the arm side, not the hand, you don’t want to break all the bones in your hand!

What is the best way to break your wrist? Would dropping a brick on the bone from a meter high (side of your wrist facing up) break it?

I broke my wrist, it was HORRIFYING. I don't know why you would ask this, if you need help with something, please seek medical help. Please don't hurt yourself! Mine happened while rollerblading with my son. We were on a culdesac. I don't have much experience with blading, and I saw a curb coming. If I used the toe stop I expected to fall. If I went backwards I would fall. So I got this fabulous idea — “I'll jump it!” well…hmm. Think about that for half a second. (Pause) I think I did for a 1/4 second then the curb was at my feet. And yeah… jumping on wheels is not a fabulous idea. I landed on my hands, broke one wrist. My hand was literally hanging. The ER doc couldn't set it to stay. Ended up with surgery and screws. My wrist isn't the same. Will never be the same. Don't hurt yourself, never on purpose, and hopefully never by accident either. Don't do it. It's one of the worst pains ever. I nearly lostconsciousness twice walking home. I asked my neighbor for help. She thought I was stabbed because of how I was holding my arm to my chest. She was a nurse and immediately drove me to hospital. It was HORRIFIC pain. Never jump on wheels. Bad, very bad idea.

What's the easiest and the best way to break your scaphoid bone or any bone in your wrist,i would love to experience a broken bone?

I have always wanted to break a bone too, until I broke my wrist two days ago when I fell!, it is the sorest thing I have ever experienced, I am bored out my brain because I can't do anything because it's my right hand, the cast is itchy and there is sores already, if you brake your wrist there is a chance there will be a permanent weakness there, I am in a cast for 8-10 weeks and I don't know how I'm going to cope!

Take paracetomal and ibuprofen before you try anything, it might help a tiny bit with the pain, put ice on your wrist so it numbs it and smack it really hard of a wall, hit the bone under your thumb with a deoderent can, twist your wrist till you here a crack or pop!

I don't know if these will work but you will have to have a very good excuse, it will be very sore once the tablets have worn of so good luck.
