Important events in a young girls life?

Ok, so well while I feel most of these girls have good Ideas, such as teeth coming in first day of school, and boys I don't feel that, that has anything to do with coming of age.

I feel your teacher is somewhat testing you to see if you are of age yet. I tutored teen girls for about four years while I was in college. Most of the girls had the same ideas like those. Here are a few things I think you should mention.

1.Overcoming peer pressure-such as turning down a cig. or joint. Saying no to boys and alchol.
2. Realizing right from wrong-at an early age we know we are not suppose to touch fire or tell a lie, but why. Tell of the first time you realized the reason. Its not as hard as you think. Like if you could someone ugly or fat, and then watched them cry, and at that moment it hurt you as much as it did them.
3.Feeling-tell when you actually started likeing boys, not when you wrote down your top five picks in the grade.
4. Family-tell of a struggle your family had to go through that made you a stronger person, and helped define who you are today.
5.Death-do not forget to tell about a death that affected you. Not like Regan, but like some family or family friend. This shows that you are old enough to realize that things no matter how hard you try will not stay forever.

These are just a few things to think of. Remember coming of age is not really what happens to your body, it is what happens to your mind. You can still be completely grown in a physical sense, but until you start using your head your not actually a woman.

Jehovah's Witnesses and Holidays?

You go girl! Great witness.
Another sting by the scorpians tail :)

We have a lot of healthy clean fun as witnesses.
We have family get togethers and a blast at weddings.

Our family has "I Love You" days. We decorate the house with love, in the past the kids have baked cakes and made personal crafts and a banner to hang up. We have a HUGE pink gorrilla that says I love you on his chest. When I hang that off our stairs the kids know the "party" is coming and get all excited. We all exchange gifts, no one person is singled out like a birthday. We play games and just have a whole day of fun!
We keep our worship of Jehovah seperated to do our best to keep it pure.

How can one keep kids (ages 7-11) entertained?

Usually young girls between the ages of 7-11 years old, like to stay busy in after school programs and activities. An after school program (like latch key) gives them time to socialize and do activities with children their own age, in an adult supervised environment. As well as, there are teachers or adults- who help with home work. Plus joining an organization like Girl Scouts, the girls club, or the YWCA/YMCA provides fellowship, keeps the children occupied and focused on accomplishing goals and teamwork. If children are involved in physical activities,  like cheerleading, soccer, basketball,  football, baseball and dancing; this helps them focuse on practicing their skills and developing self discipline . Let's not forget the wonderful world of books, arts and crafts, (children love to create and build things) and technical techknowlogy learning tools. These keep children engaged and sharpens their learning skills. Instead of just buying toys for them to play with; I buy things that will build their intellect- such as telescopes, microscopes, leap pads, and innotabs. Take for example; my ten year old grandson, he told me over the Easter week end, that he was bored. So, I went shopping and searched for magezines and books on archeology; which he has been interested in, and is what he says he wants to be, when he grows up. I also, found archeology dig sets, which had digging tools and dinesor bones set in sand, that had to be chiseled out. These items kept him very busy for hours. - Wendy Deaton Emmons
