What books do you recommend (or sites, which are easy to understand!) for learning English language?

I would suggest reading something which is gripping. When the plot is fast moving and good, one tends to overcome reading difficulties with a lot more speed and enthusiasm than otherwise. Some books which come to mind are: Harry Potter and the Philosophers StoneWell written and in easy language. Magic. The Hitchhikers guide to the GalaxyExtremely funny and related to sci-fi, if that appeals to you.A connecticut Yankee in King Arthurs courtFunny and well written. Involves Time Travel. Classic. While reading these books, keep a dictionary at hand. Force yourself to consult it in case you don't know a word. If you get past three chapters of any of these books, you won't stop reading and you will be on your way with English.

The question is: "1. State Orwell's main point as precisely as possible."

My answer: "1. In his essay “Politics and the English Language”, Orwell has one major point to make regarding the horrible use of modern English language in the world of politics. Many politicians will replace simplistic, short words in favor of drawn out, fancy, and in some cases foreign words only to “spice up” their writing. In this way, they also impress the community that likely is clueless as to what they’re saying, just as the writers themselves aren’t sure what they are writing. Politicians will also do this, using phrases that are far past their time in an attempt to make their work sound more professional. However, when politicians abuse the language in this way, it is that very misuse that makes their pieces memorable, places their pieces in our history books, and gives them a place in their time and ours. Orwell points out himself that while these sentences and phrases may sound nice to the public ear, they “consist in gumming together long strips of words which have already been set in order by someone else, and making the results presentable by sheer humbug.” "
