Easy Way To Rid Myself From Nasty Spam

Best way to force myself to drink something disgusting?

I'm trying to drink this protein shake but it smells gross (to me anyway).

What are ways I can get myself to gulp it down really fast, and possibly nullify the bad taste

I have been getting spam emails from someone now for 1 year. I have resisted but I'm just so darn curious. Would I be putting myself at risk to click?

Yeah. This is a thing. Comes in all sorts of shapes and sizes and color, from Nigerian princes to psychics (really? if they knew something you needed to know, and were good people, wouldn’t they just tell you? that’s what you’d do, right?) to any number of “get rich quick” schemes…Here’s the thing: you can’t know what will happen. It could be completely innocuous, just an honest scam (you know, nothing more nefarious than trying to separate you from your money)It could be a setup for something larger - like you give them your credit card, are duly scammed (because it’s not like you didn’t see THAT coming), but get this extra bonus prize when they sell your information into the black market (for about $30 - so be thinking about that as you interact with this sort of thing). It could be a setup for a malware dropper, which will probe your system and then colonize it with some form of botnet malware, from which they also make money (about $150 per 1000 zombies, but that’s repeatable versus a one-time thing). There’s just no way of knowing what’s on the other side. Other than it’s NOT going to be that elusive whatever the hell it is that you’re looking for from it.The smart thing to do is delete it and set up an email filter that always traps and trashes anything from this guy.But you might not be in a “I’m gonna be smart” mood. That button is calling you, man… It’s got your name on it and everything. If I wanted to do this, I’d… mmm. OK, I’ve got resources for this sort of thing. I’ll assume that you don’t have either a spare machine that you can burn, or that a VM setup for allowing you to create and delete virtual machines, or or or…Yeah. So, you’re on Windows, go acquire Sandboxie. You’re contemplating the prospect of sending a scammer your credit card, send these people some money for an actually useful piece of software. Install it. Follow their setup recommendations for Firefox, and, in a fully sandboxed instance of Firefox, click your link. That’s not 100% foolproof, but it’s usually super-effective at not blowing up your system if there is something nasty out there. And that whole credit card thing? Just don’t. If you DO feel that you need to give a fundamentally unknown entity a credit card number for some reason, you want to get get a disposable pre-paid card with not much more money on it that the amount of the purchase. Because then if they do something untoward with it, it’s no big deal.

I am receiving emails with subject :Fuckbook - most go to the spam file but have received a couple direct.help?

Report it, forward it to the FTC at spam@uce.gov and to the abuse desk of the sender's ISP.
For yahoo, report them here: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ya...
Choose spam as the reason for the violation you're reporting on.
You can not completely stop all spam, but you can help to put a big dent in it.
First, try not to open any of them, that only makes them send more and more to you.
Check mark them and click on 'Spam,' this should stop those addresses from being delivered to your inbox.
Use your spam guard and block address.
Look for the 'Options' link at upper right corner of mail screen and click on it
Options /mail options
Click on 'spam' in the list on the left.
Make sure spam guard is on, by checking in the little box.
Then in 'Blocked Email Addresses,' enter the E-mail address you wish blocked, in the box after 'Add a blocked address' and click on the 'add' button, then click on save changes at top left of screen.
You will never get mail from that address again.
This should help you to control your spam.
Other tips:
Do not ever open E-mail from people you do not know; and unless you are absolutely sure who it is from then treat them as spam.
Opening spam alerts the sender that your address is a valid one and they send you loads and loads more of it to you.
Never, ever give out your account information or other personal information to anyone.
If you are on a site and you absolutely have to sign up for something, check the entire page to make sure you uncheck any lines wanting to send you any other info, notices, catalogs, ads, and the like.
Added detail:
Yes, spammers change one item in their addresses a lot, so you might try blocking the entire domain, by putting in
*@ thedomainyouwanttoblock.com
for instance: *@seeyou.com
Or, if they change the domain, instead of the company name you can block the name by putting in Imatheft_inc@*
Hope this helps.

Is it okay to send back junk mail in one of those postage paid envelopes some junk mailers include?

First of all, I don’t like the term “junk mail”. It assumes that there is absolutely no value anywhere in any of it. Since mailers use Standard Mail to send you any rebate you might have sent in for, that isn’t true. Since it is used by your local pizza palace to send you coupons for those pizzas, well you get my drift. That being said, bulk mail can seem overwhelming. Just another thing to deal with. Wouldn’t a completely empty mailbox, day after day, be better? Actually, that’s one of my definitions of Hell, but let’s get off me.Can you mail that unwanted solicitation to the sender in their postage paid envelope. Sure. They are expecting you to take them up on their offer. Of course, they are expecting an order, a filled out application or a check, but let them be as disappointed as you were to get their mail in the first place. It wastes their money, which as others have said is a nasty trick to play on a charity. The only ones I would send back that way are from credit card companies, except I like to run their applications through my shredder. Here I am “me”ing again.Other answerers have listed some sources to help you get off mailing lists. That is a constant job because mailing lists constantly get refreshed and resold. I knew a guy once who said when he filled out things that might get him on a mailing list, he would change the spelling of his first name or add a middle initial, just to track who sold his name to whom. He had a lot of fun with it until he started getting multiple solicitations, each with the different spellings from the same business. Advertising mail is omnipresent. You can’t escape it. You can ignore it, treat it as proof somebody somewhere believes you exist, burn it for warmth in the winter if you have a fireplace (some advertising mail gives off interesting colors when burned) or go to the trouble of returning it to the sender in their postage paid envelope. Whatever you want to do with it is okay as long as that isn’t illegal or annoying to other people.

My husband keeps receiving spam emails from sex sites or sex chat sites and I don't?

My husband has been receiving an overwhelming amount of spam emails in his junk box from senders like "Sexygirl123", and the subject line is "Hairless teen". He receives emails from live girls on web cam and senders like " I like older men" . Out of 2300 spam emails in his junk box, just about every other message is from a porn site like this or senders with names like these. When you click on them they are links to porn sites and chat lines. He even receives emails from Eharmony.com that say "See your free matches". Why does he receive so many of these and I don't. I was told that he would have had to signed up for these with his email address in order to receive them. Is this true?. I myself have never received any dirty emails and I have never used my email address for anything like this. What about Eharmony.com. Did he sign up for it, in order to receive that message?

How do I block celli91333@mypacks.net from sending me e-mail?

Block their address to stop getting the messages.
Why are you opening mail from people you do not know anyway? You should NEVER do that!
Look for the 'Options' link at upper right corner of mail screen and click on it
Options /mail options
Click on 'spam' in the list on the left.
Then in 'Blocked Email Addresses,' enter the E-mail address you wish blocked, in the box after 'Add a blocked address' and click on the 'add' button, then click on 'save changes' at top left of screen.
You will never get mail from that address again.

And for your E-mail safety, remember:
Do not ever open E-mail from people you do not know; and unless you are absolutely sure who it is from then treat them as spam.
Opening spam alerts the sender that your address is a valid one and they send you loads and loads more of it to you.
Never, ever give out your personal information to anyone, for any reason, whether by E-mail, snail mail, phone call, or at your front door.
And do not ever send money, checks or money orders to; or cash checks, money orders for any one - ever.

What is the best way to handle scam phone calls?
