Ebay Buying Advice. Not Sure Whether To Submit A Case

Can I get sued for not paying for an ebay auction I won "the item was only 20 dollars"? Looking for legal info

I feel the seller was somewhat deceptive; I probably should have paid more attention though. The seller is threatening to sue and attempt to get legal fees and everything else says i commited fraud. I am looking for a website that talks about legal issues with ebay of if any attorneys are paying attention that would be helpful. I wasn't to worried but I actually think this guy might try and sue me. Any info on legal precedent for this type of thing would help also.

eBay (product): Can a buyer return an item after leaving positive feedback for the seller?

This happens to me (seller) all the time. Perhaps a buyer will leave a positive feedback for the seller quickly based on their speedy service/shipping/communication, then at some later point in time, they find that the item is the wrong size or breaks. At that point in time the buyer will usually ask for an exchange, a refund, or a partial refund.Even though the seller somewhat has no obligation to continue to help the buyer after feedback has already been exchanged, it's just keeping in line with good business practices to always assist the customer regardless of the situation to encourage repeat business.Check me out on eBay: http://spax.co

What are ways to increase beginners limits on eBay?

I consulted for a company that was a very large player with Amazon. The initial limits Ebay set for monthly sales/listings were so low that it made no sense for the company to even enter the channel. The process was long and tedious as Ebay asked for financial statements, vendor information and invoices and pretty much anything you can think of. We eventually were granted the increases but had we not been able to come up with a work around the process would come with the cost of several months of missed selling opportunity, money costs of allocated inventory and lost productivity of the folks charged with gathering and submitting the needed documentation.   Here is a fix I implemented. There are several inventory control apps listed on the Ebay site under the applications tab that will allow you to facilitate a deeper product offering and stay below the limits. The app I used is called "quantity manager". You simply tell the app the quantity of an item you have in inventory, for example 100 widgets. You also tell the app the quantity you want shown in Ebay that are available for buyers to purchase, for example 5. Each time a widget it purchased the app automatically repopulates the available for purchase quantity back to 5 and will do so until you sell the entire 100. If the widgets cost you $10 and you list 100 for sale the result would be a $1000 hit on your limits. Using the quantity manager app with an available quantity of 5 results in a hit to limits of only $50 thus producing an end benefit of $950 of limit available for listing the next product on your menu.

How do you report a buyer on eBay?

Log in to your eBay account and go to the Orders page in the Seller Hub.Find the transaction in the list of sales. To the right of each sale in the Actions column will be a drop down menu. At the bottom of the list, choose Report a Buyer. From the next page, make the appropriate selections and follow the steps as instructed.

Has anyone filed a complaint with eBay for merchandise not received?

I bid on some items and paid around $140.00 with PayPal. That was almost two months ago and I still have not received the items or even heard from the seller. I tried to file a complaint through PayPal, but it was past the 45 days required. I filed one with eBay last Friday and have heard nothing. Has anyone had their complaint resolved satisfactorily?

What happens after you click the "commit to buy" button on eBay?

U really need to pay for the product. You have cost your sellers fees, headaches and heartaches.  You can ask your sellers to cancel the transaction, but they are not obligated to do so.You on the other hand are obligated to pay for each item you bought within 4 days of your contract to buy. You made a promise, you gave your word.If you fail in this responsibility and the seller does not agree that it was by "accident" you did all of this, then they ALL can file a complaint against you. Just 2 complaints in a years time can get you suspended and sellers have the right to refuse to sell to you.  On top of that, you just made it on many sellers BBL.If you really don't want them, then when you get the items then repost them for sale - then you can understand why this is such a big deal.
